INTEGRITY. Integrity is always doing the right thing... especially when no one is watching. Integrity is critical for all businesses however it's especially critical for a pool company. A scathing review was recently posted by a misguided, disgruntled ex-employee of Paradise Pools - Naples. I'm a current pool tech for this company and a friend pointed out this review, and after I read it, I felt I was obligated to set the record straight. This business has been around for thirty plus years and as a retired finance guy and now pool guy, I've been around numerous organizations and this company has the highest standards when it comes to integrity. From the owner, to the office support staff and repair department, their professionalism is second to none. People who write reviews are mostly disgruntled clients or employees and their feedback is good for us all. However, happy clients don't usually take the time to write reviews.... I have a 100 customers who are extremely satisfied with my service and the support the company as whole provides. The previous reviews don't sound like the company that is servicing my pool in Bonita Springs. Everytime I call them, they respond immediately and send someone over to the house. They have also called me when they noticed problems with the pool that are out of their service range (e.g. a leak). I feel very confident in their care of my pool. read more

Three weeks ago I contacted Paradise Pools, per the recommendation of my friend who is a longtime client of Paradise, because I was changing pool service companies. A technician Rob came to my home and gave an estimate. Several days later I telephoned Paradise to confirm that I had chosen their company, and we agreed that service would start on Friday, January 6, 2017. I was told that Rob would be our technician. Rob never came to my home on Friday, and when I telephoned Paradise to inquire where he was, I was advised that "due to the holiday" (New Year's Day was a Sunday ... not a work day), he was not coming on Friday but instead would come on Saturday Jan. 7th. Rob never came to my home on Saturday. I telephoned Paradise on Monday, the 8th, to inquire why he did not show up. I was advised that there had been "miscommunication" on their part and Ron thought he was to begin service on Friday, the 13th. I was assured that he would come to my home on Monday afternoon, the 9th. Rob never showed up at my home on the 9th. Today I telephoned Paradise's office to advise that Rob had not shown up. The lady who answered the phone said Rob had told her that he can come to my home on Monday. I advised her that he did not, that this is a totally unsatisfactory way to start a business relationship, and that I am firing Paradise Pools before they ever start service. The lady at the office never apologized, nor did she offer a credit for the lack of promised service. Be careful to accept the promises of Paradise Pools. read more

There are many good pool service companies in the Naples area, so there is no reason to use this company. Here are just two examples of the problems I have had with their service. They incorrectly measured the salt concentration in my pool. They then added so much salt that the chlorine generator stopped working. Eventually the pool needed to be partially drained and refilled. On another occasion they allowed the chlorine level to get so high that my family could not use the pool for two weeks. When we changed pool companies we discovered that they had installed the wrong size filter. This allowed my pool to be unfiltered for months. I called and requested someone to contact me about replacing the filter or refunding me. They never accepted any responsibility and they never called me back. read more
