In my case, mow the backyard and outside the fence line only. None of them know the difference between a ground cover a flower and grass. They came inside the gate where they weren't supposed to. I've been taking care of that and honing all my grass and gardens inside. they mowed and weed wackef tons of ground cover that hadn't even had a chance to bloom. They cut down lilies, they chopped up all of my drip hoses. Left all the grass clippings in the street & left walks & drive way with mud, grass @ debris.
