Paradise is located in a nice strip mall in Meridian Township that offers plenty of parking. Upon entering the team members welcome you and show you to your table. Everyone we encountered was kind and helpful you are given a bottle water and napkin dispensers are at the table. There is plenty of seating and the restaurant is clean and organized. The food was decent, definitely fresh but the strong Indian flavors I'm accustomed to weren't present. I had a hard time selecting my meal and the team member that assisted me in making my selection was patient. While I didn't end up with what I envisioned, I blame only myself, the food was tasty. The garlic naan is terrific and a nice accompaniment to the fried paneer. The chicken fried rice was served with a side of ketchup. I asked what it was for and was told it was for my rice. Bizarre? Perhaps but it was tasty and I had rice for two other meals! I will perhaps try Paradise again but there are several other local Indian restaurants that I will return to first.

Shrimp vindaloo, butter chicken & garlic naan - they were all fabulous!

My mouth starts to water when I think about the lunch I had here. The mildly spicy shrimp vindaloo was served with fresh carrots, onions, cilantro. Great flavor combination! Buttered chicken was delicious. Also glad we tried the garlic naan! It was all very good. We went mild on the spice level for shrimp vindaloo & that was the right call. Be careful if you don't have strong spice tolerance. They are located in a small strip mall. If you blink, you will miss it.

We were visiting a friend in Lansing the 4th of July weekend and visited this Indian restaurant. Everything we ordered was very tasty. Great portions for the curries and it was served with rice. The service was very good. Highly recommend Malai Kofta and Phool Makhana Curry with Onion Kulcha or Garlic Naan.

Okra and eggplant. Not much flavor and a ton of oil/grease.

Possibly the best Indian restaurant in the area. The hours are a bit annoying if you want to eat before 5:30 but worth the wait.

Placed an order for pickup today. When I went in to pick up my order employee wasn't wearing face mask or gloves.

The fellow who waited on us had such a thick accent we could barely understand him, the lady bussing dishes didn't speak any English. But with pointing at the menu and careful listening we got our orders in. The food arrived pretty quickly, and it was amazing with plenty for leftovers. I found a bit of star anise in mine which just proves the sauces are home-made and not dumped out of a jar (like some places do). The rice was sprinkled with black sesame seeds just for that added extra, and the naan was hot and soft. The atmosphere was...odd. No music at all, which made it feel awkward. Boxes and storage and piles of supplies crowded the dining room and plenty of Christmas decorations were still up (we visited in March mind you). The restroom was clean and decorated for spring with an exorbitant quantity of silk flower arrangements on the counter. They were out of chai Masala, so I'd ordered something called "rose milk" which I never did receive but at least I wasn't charged for it. Again, the language gap proved to be a real thing to contend with. By the time we left around 8:20 the place was empty, but then it was a Thursday night. The food was worth putting up with the rest of it, and looking forward to dining there again.

The extensive menu was also a plus. I had aloo gobi, samosas, and naan and split a mango lassi. Everything was so fresh and well seasoned, and the warming spices were really satisfying without being overpowering. (I was really glad the server offered a custom spice level, as I am a soft white woman.) Anyhow, this was definitely a memorable experience, and I will be back.

The Chicken Tikka Masala was absolute perfection, velvety, creamy, and hit the perfect spice level. The naan was also excellent, fresh and pillowy. However, I was really disappointed with the Lamb Biryani. The meat was unfortunately dry, extremely fatty, and lacked flavor. I'd previously tried the Butter Chicken, which was decent, so there's definitely potential here if you order the right thing. Pros: Massive parking lot and plenty of indoor seating. They have a buffet! (Didn't realize this until we arrived, but a great perk). Food is well-packaged for takeout. Cons: Service over the phone was a bit "prickly" and felt rushed. Pro Tip: Read the menu on DoorDash before ordering; it actually provides much better descriptions of the dishes than their official website or Toast.

We ordered Paneer Masala, Lamb Curry, naan, and lassi to go. The total came out to just under $60, which I expected to be comparable to other similar places I've tried. I'm from California, so this definitely isn't my first experience with ethnic food. I'm very familiar with these flavors and even cook them myself. Unfortunately, the tadka didn't seem to be cooked long enough because the masala tasted more like Campbell's soup than a traditional curry. We didn't finish the food and ended up ordering from somewhere else. I'm glad I tried it, but personally it wasn't my favorite.
