My main concern is that I was not clearly informed about the standby charge that can apply to solar systems over 15 kW. This ended up affecting the financial side of my system more than I expected. In my view, this is an important detail that should have been explained more clearly during the sales and planning process so I could make a fully informed decision. Since raising this issue, I have also been frustrated by the communication. Responses to my emails have taken several days, and the issue still has not been fully resolved. When you are dealing with a major purchase like a solar system, timely communication and clear follow-up really matter. What has been most disappointing is that I still do not feel the standby charge issue has been properly addressed, and I have not seen much willingness to take responsibility for the lack of disclosure upfront. I understand that not every issue is simple to resolve, but I would have appreciated more ownership and a more proactive effort to work toward a fair solution. I believe Green Brilliance has an opportunity to do better by being more transparent about utility-related charges, especially for larger systems, and by improving responsiveness when customers raise concerns after installation. I'm sharing this feedback in the hope that it helps future customers ask the right questions and encourages the company to improve its customer communication and accountability.

I contraccted with astrum solar for their lease program where you own the panels after astrum…read morerecieves the tax credits this gives you a lower initial cost. After placing my deposit astrum got taken over by constellation energy and this plan ceased to exist meaning i now had to cover an additional 12000 dollars for the install i had already taken a 15000 loan for the panel install so the bank astrum sent me too would not give me a loan for the full additional amount. Had I known this from the beginning I would not have needed 2 separate loans. Also the rep was extremly slow to return communications gave wrong or incorrect information multiple times. I am happy they are going to be installing them soon but buyer beware this company has issues which could cause you to regret signing a contract

Astrum/Direct energy is horrible do not use. Our solar has been down for the past four months…read more(summer where we over produce) to this day I still do not have a working system. They will not help. My contract says that our system will be "monitored and maintained by Astrum" and they have in the past system went down I was notified and resolve promptly. I was told monitoring is the customer responsibly. Not per our contract, which they had to agree. If I did not know that in our contract, they would have done nothing. I am $700 electric bills and paying for solar. NOT GOOD!

We had the water back on quickly and his work was excellent. He also cleaned up after he was done and did a really fine job. We will use his services again. Josh is a friendly guy and has great customer service but stinks at actually doing work…read more I had a busted line on a water heater and asked him to come take a look; the water was turned off to prevent the spray. He came, tightened the screw, and replaced nothing not even testing the water worked. I spoke to him on a Friday night as a tenant complained the water was still not working and he promised to come out the next day at 4pm The next day he was incommunicado and then at 2pm told me he will not go. I think that's ok but: 1. You should not promise to come and give me time to find someone else since it's an emergency and someone needs water. I also drove an hour to meet him and he canceled on me. 2. Not testing something works or not is the fundamentals of fixing something. He came, tightened a screw and charged me 100. A plumber need to actually make sure it works... I think find someone else reliable. I rather deal with a less friendly guy who fixes stuff.
