I am fortunate enough to say that I have used this company twice, for two different homes. I…read morerecently needed to find the telephone number associated with this business to ask them a question about a retractable, motorized blind that they put in two years ago. I then read the one review that was posted by a very unhappy human being and so I feel compelled to share my experiences. Initially, I dealt with Amy, who is probably the most cheerful, customer service oriented person on the planet . Well organized, excellent communication and beyond knowledgeable. Yes, I looked at other places, but I decided to go with this company because the customer service was outstanding and the product line and cost associated were competitive with the other area businesses. I have nothing but positive and cheerful accolades from start to finish on two separate occasions, several years apart. Can you imagine putting shutters and beautiful blinds all through your home and then eight years later you buy another place and you called the same business and it just as good, if not better? That was my experience. This is a family owned and operated business so you are getting people that actually have perfected this craft and you also get to call and speak to a human being who is actively involved in this process Two experiences, several years apart, and still top-notch and absolutely incredible. The first job had over a dozen custom shutters put in to several different windows. The second job was several different shutters, one that had to be customized due to the kitchen sink and faucet weird location combination that they managed to work around perfectly. They also added a wonderful rollup shade that has worked perfectly. I'm a wife and a mother and I have very hectic job and so I don't like to waste my time or my money. I also don't appreciate it when people hop on yelp just to fabricate stories because they're demanding or lack proper communication skills, but that is neither here nor there. I can tell you that for two times, many years apart, the products are incredible, the communication is ideal, and the service is second to none.

We hired them in 2021 to paint the…read moreentire interior of our large multi-story home in Southwest Florida and to do some electrical renovations. Our decision followed meetings with multiple other contractors. What first stood out about Avenue Home Design and Build first was that Daniel truly listened to us and our concerns on the first meeting. As we ask questions and told him our desires, Daniel listened, and he would ask us questions to make sure he understood. And more importantly, he offered his own professional opinion in the most polite way and shared his knowledge and experience to help guide us to make our project the best it could be. Daniel's advice to us was always professional and objective. And it became clear to us that Daniel and his company have extensive experience in various contracting jobs. In addition, They were punctual: they started the job when they said they would start it, and they worked continuously to finish the job on time. We always felt like our job was their top priority. Even more important is that their completed work for us was stunning! Avenue Home Design & Build exceeded our expectations in every way and Daniel has earned our trust. I value his opinions and he is now my first call for any home renovation job, large or small. We are currently looking to re-hire Avenue Home Design and Build for a larger project based on our recent positive experience with them. We have nothing but good things to say about Daniel and Avenue Home Design and Build!
