    I understand business is crazy in the construction industry now. Still, when I called RBS for a…read moretruss package quote, lumber package, interior door, and exterior door package, they assigned me to David Kiefer, their sales rep. He is very arrogant and rude. He has little man syndrome and doesn't like to deal with women! He first said that if you're not planning on buying our truss package, don't waste my time quoting it. I wouldn't be calling for a quote if I didn't plan on purchasing the packages. We met with David and another gentleman (can't remember his name - very Nice guy). When we arrived for our appointment, a sales rep sat in his cubical, and David Kiefer stood there talking to him. Never once did David say can I help you. The other sales rep he was talking to kept saying that someone was there for an appointment. He kept going about his personal life for at least 10 minutes before acknowledging we were there. We picked out our interior and exterior doors and sent him a picture of a garage door I had chosen. The quote I received was not for the garage door we picked. I asked him if he could correct the selection for the door we picked out. He then acted like an idiot and emailed me that he was never given a picture. I called him immediately and told him that I showed him a photo from my phone and that my husband and RBS's other salesperson were standing there when I showed it. He then replied oh yea, I remember you showing me a picture, but I didn't have it written down. He is very quick to say how busy he is and how he doesn't have time to quote material but the way I see it, he should quit talking to other co-workers about personal things on the job and start working. My husband & I own a Construction Company, and we would never allow an employee or ourselves to treat a customer like he did. This an excellent way for Raymond's Lumber to lose business due to them having an Arrogant, possibly racist employee (to women). I even called and asked if I could be assigned to another sales rep and was told that they could not give me to someone else since David was the initial person I was assigned to. This is what I call a poorly run business.

    If you want crap customer service go with these folks. I received a voicemail from them that was on…read moreaccident with the owner not speaking highly about me stating "why the f would we service them they're out of warranty" I never once on my service call requested anything free with them stated I just wanted to buy and have a remote programmed to work with the blinds I paid over 20k with them to have done..... I blew it off until I got an invoice for $155 for them to drop a remote off in my mail box. $95 service call $65 remote replacement. Nah screw these clowns. I'll wisely spend my money else where for future service of these blinds. Work was great tho, CS afterwards was trash. Bruce, Ronnie, and random tech who said on voicemail he'd remove his shirt to do service at my house to appear he didn't know what he was doing all can take this review with pride as they've earned this one star reward. Voicemails saved on my phone for anyone who wants to hear how these folks treat you afterwards.

Four out of five worked fine, but it is my fault that one of them doesn't work. The flippant attitude is throughout the company so it must start at the top. Disappointing experience. The manufacturer deserves a better distributor.
