He made me a Coconut Passionfruit Margarita with a Tajin rim. When I tell you that's THE BEST margarita I've ever had, I mean it. The waitress took one of our party's order wrong and he personally came over, made it right, and was our best friend the rest of the night. We got a yummy charcuterie board to soak up some of the alcohol. Highly recommend that too. The last thing I'll say is that even though we missed the live music, they were still playing the artist's music over the speakers. It's great to see them continue to support local talent because I immediately looked up the person and downloaded their music all because the establishment didn't stop supporting him after he stopped singing. It shows how deep they want to grow roots in the community. Love it and I'm absolutely going back.

Ben explained the small-plate concept perfectly, including how the food would arrive as it was ready and recommending about 2-3 plates per person for sharing. We took that advice seriously and practically ordered the menu. Between the chicken empanadas, chicken skewers, chicken egg rolls, dynamite shrimp, udon noodles, chorizo sliders, elote, mini hamburger sliders, kids chicken tenders, and fish tacos, everyone at the table found something they loved. After a lovely evening, we were walking back toward the garage and stopped at Blue Martini to say hello to a great colleague, Mr. Abel. He remembered me, and we talked for a few minutes. Our original plan was simply dinner and walk around, check out a few spots early, and then head home, but Mr. Abel reminded us how important it is to take time--precious time--to enjoy the people you love. He encouraged us not to cut the night short on such a beautiful, cool September evening and suggested that we go inside Blue Martini and check out the atmosphere. He was absolutely right. We went inside, were greeted right away, found a place to sit, and immediately enjoyed the energy. We also received a lanyard with access and offers for several nearby venues, including Ice Bar, Still Lounge, and of course Blue Martini. We ended up visiting several locations, enjoying drinks, music, and an amazing night out. Blue Martini quickly became a favorite. There was a live band performing, and every so often the singer came down to the floor and interacted with the crowd, even letting some guests help finish songs. The music covered everything from Michael Jackson and Alicia Keys to Mary J. Blige, Backstreet Boys, and more. It was just an amazing atmosphere. Sometimes you want a place where you can sit down, relax, have a drink, listen to great music, and enjoy the people around you. We noticed a lot of people enjoying meals and the show. That kind of atmosphere feels harder to find these days, and Blue Martini delivered it. Saturday night was definitely lively, but still comfortable enough to relax and enjoy yourself. And September is such a great time to be out at Pointe Orlando because the weather starts to cool down enough to enjoy the patio and walk around without feeling miserable in the heat. We are very glad we took Mr. Abel's advice and stayed out a little longer. Definitely recommend Blue Martini. Five stars!
