First time visiting and I had a great time! Reasonable price and friendly staff behind the counter! Wasn't crowded but steady amount of people, I can't wait to come back!

Zeroing in the new optics ;) happy with the grouping

This place is very clean, nice range with all of the safety equipment in place to have fun but not be uncomfortable. The lanes have electric motors for the reels on targets and they have lights in them that you can turn off if using different sights. We had 3 in my party and it was a great time! They have rental weapons like AR, AK, auto shotguns, silenced weapons and more! They have any type of ammunition you need, all of the accessories and a variety of weapons for sale. If you are looking for a good time and a stress reliever, this is the place to go in indy. I've been to a lot of ranges and this one by far is the nicest and professional. The staff will help you with any questions about any weapons you are interested in and are very knowledgeable with the accessories and sights they have to offer as well. So go have fun and send some rounds down range!

This place rocks. You know why? Because they treat you like a human being. Other ranges in the area have their heads so far up their asses that I've walked in and walked out. You know, when a woman enters a shooting range it doesn't necessarily mean she's weak and doesn't know what she's doing. We had 30 minutes of fun and practice today for $17. Can't beat that. .. and if you DO walk in here needing help/assistance/guidance - they will very kindly help you and I imagine won't make you feel like an ass doing it. I might even go back tomorrow!!

This is my home away from home! I love all the staff that works here. The most knowledgeable range and gun store you're going to find around Indy/Avon/Plainfield. This is the type of range the 2A community needs here. From hosting multiple classes to arranging USPSA and carry gun competitions to stop the bleeds that myself attend and attribute to my skill levels improving tremendously. Stop wasting your time with fudds and step into the right direction of protecting you and your loved ones

Always a great experience when I come here. I've been here with coworkers to shoot, I've taken the ladies firearm class and today and picking up my purchase from an online order. Staff was very friendly and walked me through the steps of my background check. Thanks Esteban (my salesperson) for another great experience!

It was my first time going to this gun range, or any gun range at that. So I didn't know what to expect or anything but my experience here was pretty good. My boyfriend paid for everything and we had our own guns and ammo so I'm sorry but I can't help with prices. I do know that the targets were $1 and I believe the ear protection was $2-$5 depending on which ones you got, so there's that lol. I felt comfortable there, there were no red flags that made me feel sketchy in any way. It was a wonderful time but I wish we could have stayed longer. One thing that was misleading was that the time we found on maps for closing said 9pm but when we got there they said it was 8pm. That was a total bummer but nothing that would keep me away from going there again.

Parabellum Firearms & Indoor Range opened May, 2013 and is located in Avon off Rockville Road just east of Dan Jones Road. First, a few things you need to know. You must have a valid driver licenses or ID to rent a lane. Your personal gun must be holstered, in a case or have a chamber flag. Eye protection and ear muffs are required which can be rented if you don't own. They currently offer 14 lanes, 25 yards in distance for pistols, rifles and shot guns up to certain power. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful explaining services they provide for all skill sets. You can rent or buy guns here if you don't have your own. I must say the past two visits the customer service wasn't as attentive as in the past but depends on who's behind the counter. Training classes are offered from beginner basic pistol to advanced classes. If you've never handled a gun consider classes or one-on-one training to avoid an accident or destroying their equipment. Check out the website for class details if interested. Know that if you accidentally destroy their property there is a fee. If you shoot the target rope, it will cost you $60. If you shoot a metal holder, cable, or trolley, it will cost you $100. Spend the $50 an hour for training if you're uncomfortable handling a firearm. Shooting Range prices are reasonable, the lanes are clean, well maintained and often an employee is within Shooting Lane area. One to three shooters are allowed per lane. Guns can be rented for as little as $10 or purchased here or bring your own holstered, in a case or with a chamber flag. Rates for 1/2 hr. for 1 shooter is $14, 2 shooters $17 and 3 shooters $20. They offer a lunch time discount from 11-2 Monday - Friday and 1/2 hour prices are 1 shooter - $8, 2 - $11, or 3 - $14. See photo of rate sheet for specifics. We enjoy shooting at Parabellum, lane rates don't bankrupt you, majority of the staff, many if not all are law enforcement, is friendly and they love talking guns and classes.

Good range while it was open. They are out of business. Website no longer works. Local media reports they're closed.

I had my first interaction with Fort Liberty a couple of days ago. I have passed by for many years…read morebut never stopped in (my fault). I had a FFL transfer to them, due to wanting someone closer then who I was using. I went in and picked up my new firearm from them and it went well. No issue with the one guy that helped me. He was middle aged with a beard. Everything was smooth and like I would expect, so Kudos for that. There is a younger kid in there, tall and slender. He was a bit of an @ss. That has not deterred me completely from coming back and looking around again at this point, but I do see what some of the reviewers have wrote about rude staff. Their pricing is a little high, close to retail, but I cannot say for 100% because they may have some good sales. I only looked at a couple of guns and pricing, and I know my pricing. But they looked to have a good selection. It looks like they have more then Bradis or they are close. When I first seen the location, it did not scream we have a good selection, so I just never bothered with stopping. But like I said, they do not have a bad setup/selection. I am hoping to back in there in the next couple of weeks. I hope the owner see's this post and takes it to heart. I am not bashing anyone, just feedback at this point. The average Joe comes in and asks questions, don't let the little kid ruin it. We are the reason you are in business. And I have seen it at other dealers, where the staff thinks they are better then everyone else, or they seem like they do not want to be bothered (I have never directly experienced this, because I would just go spend my money elsewhere). This is not the only place I have seen rude staff, so you are not being singled out. I have acquired a nice selection of firearms over the years, and I definitely am not close to stopping. Plus I have 2 sons and a daughter that go shooting with me all the time. They are getting to the age of buying their own firearms soon. If someone is asking for you to take a transfer, step up and help them out. I was told the same thing, that the transferee had to reach out to Ft Liberty first. But this was a manufacturer as well, and not a podunk outfit out of BFE. Some customers may not know how all this works and you can explain it to them. It is not like someone is try to get your FFL number. Remember, there are a dozen gun stores on this side of Indy/Avon. You want to be #1, I am sure. Also, do you have an email we can sign up for? Sales, events or news. Maybe even a monthly newsletter with gun ranges near by and other useful tidbits. I am always looking for a range with more then 100 yards or one you can actually shoot an AR. Some ranges around town wont let you shoot them outdoors due to the distance a rounds can carry.

This is my third time coming in and each time the staff is pleasant and friendly. They are very knowledgeable and the store is stocked with a good variety of everything. I would highly recommend this place for FFL transfers and other firearm accessories

We met friends at Shoot Point Blank today to try out the shooting range (behind the Get-Go off…read moreRockville Road). This was the first time either of us had used the Shooting Range. There's a separate counter, well marked, to check in for a lane. If you're a first timer, you'll need to sign a Liability Waiver (valid for 12 months) that will cost you $5. The waiver is transferable to Greenwood, Merriville and Indy North Shoot Point Blanks stores. They offer handguns ($10), long guns ($15), and specialty gun ($25) rentals. Range Time is $14 per 1/2 hour and $20 per hour. Add one additional shooter per lane for $10. You'll find Weekday Specials such as lunch time (11a - 2p) for $10 for a 1/2 hour. There are ladies, seniors, Family Day (2 shooters), police/military and date night specials. Check them out. The 25 yard lanes are separated into two areas, the Red and Orange Lanes. You must have eye and ear protection in order to enter the range (available to rent). The lanes are nice with 6 foot tables in the back to reload and grab items in your bags. Each lane has a coat hook as well as target clamps on the outside of the lane. The shooter's ledge is wide enough to hold your guns and at a comfortable height. Lanes are clean and a Range Safety Officer is physically in the lane area for questions and to enforce Safety Rules. We spent a quick hour practicing with several different types of guns. It is amazing how quickly an hour goes when you're at the range, especially if you have two shooters on a lane. All types of training (in-house and on-line) classes are available from beginner's to accuracy mastery. The trainers are experienced and professionals for each class offered and the monthly class schedule is online. We did check out a few guns before we left. Each Shoot Point Blank has over 500 guns (handguns and long guns) in stock as well as ammo, storage and firearm accessories. If they don't have what you want, they will order for you. We had a great time and the employees were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Shoot Point Blank doesn't replace our main shooting range in Avon but it is a very nice range and we'll be back sometime soon.

I've been able to take my kids to the range with me included in the membership and the safety officers are super friendly and helped us when trying out some new rental guns and giving tips to us when trying new platforms.
