We came on the 24th last minute and it was well worth the hour drive. Her hospitality, kindness, and attention to detail truly made the night special, and we really appreciate everything she did to make sure we had a great time. I also want to recognize the kitchen manager. After I complimented the food, he took the time to come out and personally acknowledge the compliment. His kindness and genuine appreciation really stood out to me. It's not every day you see managers who take the time to connect with their guests like that. Both of these employees are a true reflection of what great customer service should look like. Thank you for making my wife's birthday one to remember! We'll definitely be back!

This restaurant has tasty food and emreasonable prices and the Bartender and servers were attentive. Being from Florida I had to try their Cowboy version of a Cuban. It was delightful. My spouse had the brisket enchillad and raved about it and the Texas Twinkie what a great app and so tasty with the smokey flavor.

Seriously, a place like this charging the same as a full service restaurants has got to stop. I got their new mushroom swiss burger and highly dissatisfied. I couldn't taste muchroom....like at all. If I hadn't been the one ordering it, I would never have guessed mushrooms were on there. I literally opened the burger to see if they forgot to add them. There were muchrooms, sort of..... The mushrooms were like slivers. I ate one by itself and, knowing it was a mushroom, STILL could not taste mushroom. The worst part of the whole thing is that it appears that the burger was put in the microwave to melt the cheese. First, the temperature of the burger should be enough heat to do the job. The bread had that spongy, wierdly most feel of bread that has been microwaved and the patty was grossly overcooked and had the flavor of cardboard and whatever ridiculous seasoning the put on their burgers. This took a very "Mid" burger into "I could do better home" status. Truly, I will never buy their overpriced food again. On the positive, the employees were very friendly and the store was clean. Even though I didn't try them, the pot of beans out by the drinks is a nice touch. Final verdict: If you love burgers that are mid, at best, and also hate money, this is the place for you.....

They have two different kinds of sauce, ("If it's good bbq, you don't need sauce") I don't care for either of them so it's a good thing their bbq is good. We mostly stick to the brisket and ribs but we've had the pulled pork as well and it's good. Haven't found a bad side yet and we've tried a lot of them. They always have peach and/or blackberry cobbler and it looks amazing but I do not like either of those. However on Sunday they have apple cobbler and it is just as amazing as it looked. They have the old fashioned long hallway walk to the ordering section that I haven't really seen since I was a kid. It brings back a lot of memories for me. They have a decent sized dining area, and a huge dance area in the back that has a full service bar and picnic tables set up for eating. We normally go into the music hall to eat and don't eat in the dining area. There's a big stage and they have live music and free dance lessons once a week.

The ambience of the place is really nice and with live music on Saturdays I'm sure the place is hopping. However, I honestly feel that the food is overrated. There are other highly rated BBQ places in Lindale that I preferred to eat at but they are only opened on Saturdays or days we weren't in town for. I imagine they are preferred more by locals simply because of the quality of food cooked on fewer days opened.
