I had this center bookmarked fo a while, but had waited to make a trip. They have pretty good hours Monday - Saturday. All of my recyclables this time were easy lifts, so they have a drive-thru where you stop, and somebody comes and gets everything out of the car for you. Like a grocery pickup. They just do everything while you wait in your car. They also have the ability to take larger equipment. Some of those things you have to set an appointment for and certain items have to be paid for for them to take it. It's usually a very small fee just for disposal costs and things like that. Entirely worth it for whatever it is you're trying to do. Nothing here is expensive. Highly recommend if you're looking to offload some extra stuff that you're not using anymore without just chucking it in a trash can. They also have paper recycling and shredding services available. Check out their website and see if they'll take what you have.

I live in an area where we receive the large green bins where we get to recycle glass and higher number plastics along with the normal stuff the rest of you put out. I am glad we get this and I hope the rest of you get to experience it soon. Now they are actually giving us stuff to recycle. We sign up and get points for the weight we place in the bins. It appears that it will end up being worth about $20 in gift certificates a year, but that is nice and I would recycle the same amount anyway.

I think it depends who is working that day. They will take everything out of my trunk and THEN take my temperature... it kind of doesn't make sense. What would they have done if after taking my recycling out, my temp is high? Would they then grab it all from the bins and put it back in my car? Why not just let me keep my window closed the whole time that way we just don't make contact at all?
