An absolute failure at every level…read more We had a crew scheduled Saturday to take our load; however, when they arrived they realized they didn't have nearly enough room in their truck and that the price would be TRIPLE the estimate. This was annoying, but I decided to go through with it anyway due to our timeline. The next day they were supposed to arrive from 8-10AM, and after not hearing anything I reached out to the office and eventually heard back from someone at 11:30 letting me know they'll call in 45 minutes with an ETA. I waited 3.5 hours and never heard back. I had already rented a pressure washer to clean the siding over there, so now I'm at 48 hours rented and I still haven't used it. I have actually lost money by giving this company multiple chances, because they found a way to fail me every time. We are now using another service (at a MUCH lower price), and would strongly recommend to anyone else to do the same.

Recycle! It's the mantra in this household…read more We recycle everything - and I mean everything possible. To have a scrap metal recycler so close to home is an added bonus. Yes, you will receive some cash for your metal (don't expect the proverbial gold mine, though). And you're helping a local business - plus you're reducing the volume of waste that ends up in landfills. Always very friendly staff here. Parking is adequate, since you're really not here for very long - they're very quick to take your metal, weigh it and pay you a set price per pound. Exiting back onto Kuykendahl (especially if you're heading south) can be a challenge, though. Keep that in mind when you're ready to leave.
