The soup yesterday was a (sweet potato chowder) with big chunks of perfectly cooked sweet potato surrounded by home grown sweet corn, celery and sausage. It was fantastic. I had the chicken salad sandwich, my wife and very nice salad and my sister had the Thai wrap. All were amazing,. This wonderful spot has incredible desserts as well with very generous portions. The carrot cake and homemade vanilla ice cream was off the charts. Easy street parking make it easy and very much worth driving 50 miles to experience. We will plan on coming through Nebraska City at lunch time so that we can return soon I hope.

I've done same day pickup for cakes they have already made, but I've also ordered a few days ahead if I want to request anything particular. My absolute favorite is their chocolate mousse cake! I've gotten it for my past 2 birthdays and a few work parties as well. It's always beautifully made and has THE best taste. Not too sweet and NEVER dry. The layers keep it soft. They always do a fun decorative border too.

The included cookies were the following: chocolate chip, gluten free CC, cranberry white chocolate, snickerdoodle, M&M, peanut butter, oatmeal raisin, sugar, monster, & the 'Rachel' (butterscotch, oatmeal, & CC). Huge thanks to the owner, Sharice, for letting me take on this delectable dessert challenge! I enjoyed all of the cookies. The store delivers city wide across Lincoln.

I tried the Chocolate Caramel Twist.. It was just okay for me--it tasted more like a chocolate shake with a squirt of caramel on top than a true chocolate-caramel swirl. Overall, it's a nice place with lots of choices, especially if you enjoy customizing your dessert.

We recently visited here as a Nebraska Passport stop. Bookguy isn't that fond of cheesecake but…read moresaid he would try the cherry cheesecake. I went with strawberry. Bookguy was disappointed because he expected it to be topped with cherries instead of infused. My strawberry was the same with a ribbon of strawberry flavor and a couple chunks of strawberry. I liked it, but I think I would have enjoyed a plain traditional piece better. The consistency was great--baked perfection. They also have other cheesecake treats such as chocolate chip cheesecake sandwiches cookies, mini cheesecakes, samplers with different flavors and scoop-able cheesecake. I thought the scoop-able bins were ice cream at first. Many of the items they sell can be shipped frozen. There's also outdoor seating. This is a wonderful place to get delicious cheesecake.

Their IG account graces my eyes on the daily, and I don't know if it's the seductive, sexy way they spoon their cheesecake to show us cheesecake whores-alike what we're missing, but holy it works! I RAN to their website and grabbed their 2-12oz scoopables in the oh-so-tart Coconut Lime Supreme and Strawberry Rhubarb Parfait... yall.. that supreme rang my bell so well! Tangy, sweet, lime-ee, creamy and very little coconut. Pretty sure my eyes rolled back into my head. But then... you try the other, more calm one to off set the tang and SHES JUST AS GOOD! Very mellow in comparison but definitely a pallet pleaser, and I am NOT a rhubarb fan. But this little 12oz of joy.. sign me up! I chose to ship cause I'm going through some shit right now and I really didn't want to make the drive to Lincoln (life is a literal chore), but if you're a natural road trip woman like me, I encourage you to visit their brick and mortar and check out their plethora of choices! And you tell me, if they don't scoop those scoops in a seductive way!

It was incredibly welcoming and begged for you to take a seat by the fireplace in the corner. Unfortunately, I didn't have time for a sit-down visit, I was just buying tasty things to bring home from my vacation, for me and for gifts. Not pictured (because I demolished them before I even thought about it) are the chocolate-covered gummy bears! I cannot recommend these enough. This treat is actually hard to find and even harder to find well done, and these were wonderful. The bears were nice and fresh and they had just the right amount of chocolate coating. The dark chocolate drizzle finishing them off was nice but probably unnecessary, and just ended up in a pile of crumbles that was hard to get out of the bottom of the plastic tube they came in. The serving size justified the price, in my opinion. There were so many other great souvenir treats available! But I moved on to the truffle case with all its gorgeous gourmet gems awaiting me! I selected four and was most excited for the Earl Grey one. It was decent but disappointing; I tasted very little tea inside, it was pretty much just a plain caramel filling to me. The other two are still awaiting me. The ladies behind the counter were helpful and friendly, and were patient with my indecision. I also got one of their house stickers for my collection and I was thrilled that it was so reasonably priced! Some places charge SO MUCH for stickers that are, essentially, advertisement for them. I wish I could return soon but I live far away and it will probably be a couple years before I'm back. But you can be sure I'll be making time for a longer trip here then!
