Service was good, but when I asked about one of the dishes to have the shrimp on the side she said "they won't do that". What? That's weird. The place seemed a little busy but it was open seating & it was pretty large. We got drinks & menus pretty quickly but that's where the promptness ended...once we ordered it took about 45 minutes to get our food. I ordered a small pizza with vegan cheese & made one other modification to a standard menu item. My friend ordered a standard menu item with gluten free crust. I also ordered a small house salad with a couple of items removed. Salad came out long before the pizzas. There was also at least one table around us that sat & ordered after us that got their food before us. We had to ask our waitress where our food was & she said it just takes time then a few minutes later she said she would go check on it & it came out very hot shortly after. Once we got our food (at least it was all as ordered), it definitely wasn't worth the wait. We both said our pizza was just bland - lacking a lot of flavor in the sauce & just taste overall (standard red sauce for me, BBQ pizza for my friend). My friend said she'd had better frozen gluten free pizzas and the toppings kept falling off of mine. The atmosphere & decor of this place is fun & quirky and the service was nice & friendly, the food & promptness of everything was just not good. We won't come back here the next time we're in Cañon City, unfortunately.

Service was outstanding, it felt like a choreography with how well our server took care of us. The space itself is part restaurant, part bar, with that odd almost-purple lighting that every spot for locals seems to emit. It's a bit noisy inside as a result, but it is what it is I suppose. The burrata starter was delicious. The burrata itself was so fresh, and the accoutrement were similarly tasty. For mains, the insalata with octopus and shrimp was really good, packed with seafood and balanced with citrus from a light dressing. The ravioli pueblo was interesting. The chile in the sauce was a really nice touch, adding some interesting spice to the dish. The sauce itself was very thick, the heaviness took away from the dish a tiny bit. But all in all, a great sit down meal in Pueblo!

We had taken reviewers advice to make reservations, which proved invaluable, as the place was packed..on a Monday at 6pm. We were seated immediately and greeted by our server. I had mentioned on our reservation we were celebrating a birthday, and I think every member of the front end wished me Happy Birthday at least once! Overall, service throughout was impeccable! I am a huge fan of Chicken Parm, and have struggled over the years to find a version that compares to my favorite Italian eatery in NYC...pounded super thin with crispy breading and nearly overflowing the plate. I have found a new favorite, and confess I couldn't finish it. My wife had the Chicken Valeria which also was outstanding. Entrees come with a side salad...House or Caesar for a small upcharge. Both fresh and plentiful. After the mains, we had no room for dessert..as usual, but we were surprised with a pistachio cannoli for the birthday boy and it was easily one of the best cannoli we have enjoyed...even across may travels to Italy and NY. Overall an awesome dining and birthday experience, and probably good it's not in my hometown in NC as I would likely get in trouble! Five plus stars!!

This one's kind of hard for a variety of reasons - I loved the atmosphere & the service here. Top…read morenotch!! The food in the other hand, not so much. It really left a lot to be desired the sauce was extremely heavy and very very acidic - I know I know it's marinara however as an Italian, I know there are ways around both of these things. We started with the squash blossoms as an appetizer which I was over the moon about & then they came to the table and they were cooked in a thick batter & had that heavy marinara on them which anyone who knows about squash blossoms knows they are very delicate and they require a delicate preparation with a thin batter and a very light sauce to not overpower the soft delicate flavor So they came out pretty much ruined. A much better option would've been a lemon herb aioli or a honey-lime drizzle Same with the beautiful mozzarella sticks drowned in that sauce - so beautifully crispy on one side & soggy & ruined on the other (put the sauce on the side as a rule!) Hubby enjoyed his veal pasta. My pasta was very overcooked - I'm an al dente person, & my daughter's gnocchi was literally swimming in alfredo sauce. Not the worst by far but definitely needs fine tuning especially at the price point.

We started with boudain balls, alligator bites & hush puppies. My favorite was the hush puppies. I found the boudain balls disappointingly small since my Hubby is from the south and I know they should be the size of a softball. The gator was ok - breading was delicious & cooked to perfection but the gator itself was chewy. All of the other offerings were delicious! The lobster bisque was so great rich & slightly sweet.
