Want to start off by saying I love the food! The disappointing part is that the "free" 12 inch cheese pizza reward is not really "free". It's $14.99 on the menu plus tax but yet they only take off $12.99..... how does that make sense? When asked the owner said it was for "taxes". So I'm actually getting charged $2 plus tax for this "free" pizza that I've earned with points. read more

Took an order, took my money, I showed up and there's no one there. No one at ANY PS location answers my call. This is theft. I am the WRONG customer to pull these types of shenanigans with. Dishonest thieves. Avoid them. read more

We LOVE having this place nearby. They have a great product & the customer service is really great. The place also has some really enjoyable local decor which just adds to the whole product. read more

Literally Worst pasta I've ever had. Had Penne pomodoro. No seasoning, tasteless, bitter tomato. Awful. Would have returned- but went back to office. Never again 5/13/26 read more

Good place to grab a slice of pizza. I went there on my lunch break to grab a slice to go. I wanted cheese but they were out. They only had two slices left and it was sausage. I didn't want to wait for the cheese so I snagged a sausage. The slice was huge and had just the right amount of cheese and the sauce was not bad. I also liked the crust. I am not a pizza person and it's rare that I eat it. I was really wanting a slice for lunch and this place was perfect. There is only one tiny table and some bar stools to sit at so definitely not a sit down place. Service was good and price was ok. A can of pop and a giant slice was $6. read more

Definitely recommend this place. I order take out; a large pepperoni pizza with green peppers and half with jalapeño. Also, an order of 12 wings well done. Everything was done as requested. Service was friendly and fast. Will definitely continue ordering from this location! Unfortunately, this location is only a take out place, besides that is very clean and organized. read more

Stopped by around 5pm today to get 2 slices of pizza, and the 3 slices that they had in front were older than my grandmas dentures. I asked the 9 year old girl in the front if they were able to make fresh slices and she said no. I'm definitely not coming back here. If you're looking for fresh slices of pizza, this is not the place to go to. We ended up going to Rosatis, and they were able to serve fresh slices of pizza. read more

Fast delivery and good product for a chain. Just rather not have the corn four on the bottom of the crust.

I like the double dough slices that are ready to go. You can get a drink and large slice of pizza on the go. My son also likes the pizza and he's a picky eater. read more

This has happened numerous times. I have let it go so many times and just picked the meat off but, when I called to ask for a new salad they didn't answer the phone & the girl that delivered said 'sorry - we are almost closed'....REALLY??? Sorry - you took my money and now I have no dinner!!! Glad the employees got to go home on time though - that's what's important. Thanks Papa Sav's!!! read more

Sorry to have to update due to negative experience since their pizza is one of the best around. However on a previous order they left off the mushroom on my pizza Receipt was for sausage & mushroom but no mushrooms. I called They apologized and offered me a $5 credit if I kept the pizza. Didn't feel like driving back for a new one so I accepted Yesterday ordered a pizza. On line would not accept my emailed 15% off promo. When I picked up pizza counter man said $5 credit is automatically applied and he would manually enter my 15% promo. He said he did but when I got home I read the receipt and no promo. Only $3 but feel cheated Also suspiciously gave me the dollar bills for my change but kept the coins in his other closed up hand. When I asked where was the rest of my change he gave it to me. read more

First time ordering online and our food was great, cheese pizza, lasagna and a gluten free pizza with toppings, my daughter and I are dairy free so we requested in the note section for NO cheese due to a dairy allergy, BUT our pizza had cheese on it so we were unable to eat it. Just wanted to give a review to let people know that any thing put in the note section won't be honored Would like to request they update their online ordering to offer an option of no cheese read more

Man I just order from there and their pizza was fire. Half and half pizza was delicious. And I don't even like pizza lol. I also order their fried shrimp and it was great. I was genuinely surprised on their quality and quickness. Delicious, and will be a returning customer! read more

They have the most amazing tasting pizza. The sauce is homemade and is so flavorful. They put the sausage and cheese on and it will make you forget all about how hot it is and burn your mouth because you can't get enough!!! This is bringing back so many memories for me living right here in Chicago!!! Love this place read more

Love me some Papa pizza. Had my first slice in Chicago and the Aurora pickup location is just as good. Crispy crust cooked on stone. Cheese that is thick not just dusted on and quality ingredients. It's a special treat for this guy. Thanks fellas you made my Friday night!! read more

First time ordering from here. I'm new to aurora I was soooo impressed with my order! Pizza was phenomenally GOOD and my wings were exactly how I expected! The gentleman that delivered our order had awesome customer service! My new go to place! read more

Pretty decent menu items, the pizza is usually great, however once in a while it is hit or miss, I'm not sure if that is a staff schedule change or what. However, when it's great, it's great! When it's not as great, it's still pretty damn good. Delivery is also typically pretty fast. read more

One star should be zero, beware of this place, very dishonest owners. Was there tonight to pick up a pizza and when I submitted a Local Flavor certificate for partial payment was told that they did not work with Local Flavor. I pointed out that the certificate had their name and address on it and was unexpired, all the puppet at the front counter could offer was that there were new owners and they did not have to accept coupons that the previous owners had agreed to. Seems that when you purchase a business you get both the assets and liabilities. Good job guys, you lost a regular customer. Maybe that explains why the parking lot was empty on t Friday night at 7:30 PM?? Oh well, there are plenty of choices nearby that have much better pizza anyway. Don't waste your time and money here. read more

Do yourself a favor and find another pizza joint. This place sucks. Food is terrible and overpriced!!!

The pizza is just okay. I think it's overpriced. $40 for 2 pizzas?! It's not that I'm opposed to spending $40 on a dinner; I'd consider Papa Saverio's again if the quality was better. We ordered one thin crust pizza with sausage and a BBQ chicken pizza. I don't like pools of sauce, but this pizza barely had any sauce. Overall the sausage pizza was bland. The BBQ Chicken was good, but I've had better elsewhere. I will give Papa Saverio's credit for friendly service. When I lived in Plainfield, all of the pizza places seemed to lack basic social skills, but both on the phone and the delivery driver were pleasant and friendly people. Papa Saverio's pizza just didn't do it for me though. With so many food options nearby, including pizza, I doubt I'll order from them again. read more

Last night, Miss Chrissy W. was supposed to cook me a healthy and delicious meal, consisting of what she already had in the fridge, which I knew to be Brussels sprouts and a "cute pork tenderloin." I told her I'd bring the pinot. Well, I got there with the pinot, but apparently, the pork tenderloin was smelling questionable. Enter, a groupon for pizza! With her $30 groupon, we got (and no, we didn't eat it all!) A 20" cheese and mushroom thin crust pizza. 3 (yes 3) cannolis 2 cookies (1 peanut butter, 1 chocolate chip.) Not bad, considering a 20" pizza elsewhere is going to run you WAY more. The flavor? DELICIOUS. This pizza had the perfect crust, perfect sauce/cheese/veg ratio, and was not over/under done. It was baby bear... just right. No wonder the box said "the pizza you'll fall in love with" Yep. I don't eat cannoli, so I can't attest... but, the peanut butter cookie was to die. Take that sucker, throw it in the microwave for 30 seconds, holy schnikies, I burned my tongue on molten peanut butter, but I didn't care! Now, I come to see that Papa S' doesn't have a location exactly near my home, but I will freakin' drive to Rolling Meadows for that deliciousness... we don't have good thin crust pizza out by me. read more

I left the Chicagoland area back in 1999. The one thing I miss the most is good pizza. I am not so into the deep dish pizza that a lot of people love so I stay away from it. Now you want to get some thin crust sausage or pepperoni pizza? You MUST go to Papa Saverios! I only just got hip to them about 4 years ago during my visit from ATL to go see my family in Elgin. I am so hooked. This is the first place I want to go when I get there besides Portillo's where I get my Maxwell Street polish. Anyway, their pizza is cut in squares the way I like it and the cheese grease is the perfect ratio...mmm, mmm, good! Oh, if you are like me and you eat French fries with your pizza, don't order any from them. They are always hard and too dark with not much potato. I am not tripping too much because they are a pizza joint. What was I expecting.. Only downside is they down ship out of state. :-( They still get 5 start though. read more

We ordered a large pepperoni pizza with wings and a two liter for delivery. They said it'd take about 45 minutes to deliver, which is fine. We ordered using grub hub, and in the special comments asked that our cell phone be called since the call box to our apartment complex does not work. The delivery boy never called. My boyfriend happened to see his car in the lot and went down. The boy said he didn't see the comment, and instead just continued to ring a box that obviously doesn't work. When we opened the box, the pizza looked burnt. My boyfriend checked the bottom before we tried it, and found that the pizza wasn't burnt, but it was cold to the touch. We tried a piece, and not only was it cold, there was absolutely no sauce on the pizza. We live a little over a mile away, so there's no reason our food should have been cold. He called the restaurant back and explained that our pizza was cold and sauceless. The guy on the phone asked if per wanted a discount on our next purchase. We asked if we could just get a new pizza, which he said wasnt a problem. He just asked that we give back the old pizza so he could show his supervisor. While we were waiting for the new pizza, we decided to try the wings. Those weren't very warm either, and they didn't taste fresh. After a half hour, the new pizza was delivered. It looked drastically different from the old pizza, definitely not burnt and hot. But there was still no sauce. The cheesy bread we received (twice) was not worth the $30 we paid for it. read more

Ordered a large thin crust pizza with sausage and an order of wings. The pizza was pretty typical thin crust pizza, except for the sausage. The sausage was ALL OVER the pizza and full of flavor. The wings were very good and the customer service is also good. They offer coupons with some pretty good deals, so look out for those read more

The pizza arrived cold and the jalapeno poppers where soggy. This was the first and will be the last time we order from this place. I wish I could give them a better rating but they didn't earn it from me Cubs Fan read more

Their double dough has tons of crust, all favlorless. Imagine a circle of regular breadsticks surrounding a pizza that is effectively one size smaller than ordered. My 14" pizza was more like 12" due to the significant amount of crust. Shame on me for ordering double dough. The pizza itself was ok. Although their menus look the same as Sarpinos', don't get it twisted; Sarpino's is way better for the same price -- oddly, they have the same specials as Sarpino's, too... It's a carryout only location with a nice staff, but I can't substantiate spending my pennies on a bunk pizza. read more

As this is a carry-out only location, there's not much to comment on the store itself, but MK and I ordered up some 'za when we returned from the 4th of July weekend (07/06/08). They have carry-out or delivery and service is pretty good and timely. We ordered the extra large (18") cheese and sausage on the thin crust. Very good. Check website for coupons and full menu. They also provide catering. read more

On the first night of our Christmas trip to Aurora this year, our dear friends served this incredible cracker-crust pizza at their party. My wife and I used to eat here about every week. They used to have great stuffed and Chicago-style pizzas. Lately though, they've changed the sauce for some reason and it's not so good. They had some really good sauce before - fresh with chunks of tomatoes. Now, it tastes more out-of-the-jar - to sweet. We noticed the last couple times there's someone new cooking the pizzas so perhaps that's part of it, I don't know. We also have had a couple bad experiences with the spinach pizzas (bad bathroom experiences if you know what I mean). Lately they've also raised their prices. With all the pizza places in the area, we're going to be skipping this one in the future. read more

After a long day on the road, I ordered some food for delivery. It was delivered 20 minutes faster than they said it would be. The quality was outstanding and the portions were overboard and delicious! Thanks for making my day! read more

We ordered from here (stuffed pizzas and dough nuggets with cheese sauce) yesterday. All of the food was hot and delicious. Will be back!

Been There for Lunch...Had Slices, No Problem. Thought I would try 14" Thin Crust with Sausage Extra Cheese and American Bacon on top Well Done. I got home and There was absolutely NO BACON (maybe 10 tiny chunks on the ENTIRE PIZZA) underneath the cheese to boot (Not on top as I had requested). So if you like paying for toppings you don't receive and want your Pizza cooked incorrectly then Papa Saverio's is your "Go To" Place! $23.06 for a 14" Pizza! They skimp like no other so move along...Nothing to see here!!! read more

What a disappointing decline for a once-trusted restaurant. A thin-crust with sausage, mushrooms and onions came in at a whopping $26, but arrived with little sauce, a very thin layer of cheese, and such sparse toppings that they couldn't be found. Virtually inedible, most of it ended up in the garbage disposal. read more

My wife and I ordered a deep dish pizza from here and I can only describe it as "a gloppy mess". We have ordered from here before, and their regular pizza was amazing so we thought we'd try the deep dish. Well, when it arrived it looked like it had been dropped - all the cheese had slid off of the pizza and was pooling next to it in the box. After putting what we could salvage onto plates we were left with a very soggy crust and a weird mixture of almost liquid cheese, tomatoes, and spinach. We will probably order pizza from here again, but never the deep dish. TL;DR: Stay away from the deep dish - it is a gloppy mess. read more

Pizza was ok but the main reason im doing this review is because I got a pizza and the box was all wet, so when I came back to my car I noticed my whole seat covered in pizza sauce !!! read more

Good pizza quick delivery close to home fresh ingredients. Always get the order right friendly service when ordering a bit on the pricey side. But better than most pizza spots in the area. read more

Has yet to disappoint with the food and delivery service! One of my go-to pizza and pasta places in the area.

Called an hour in advance to have a deep dish ready by the time I got there. I asked for their deep dish sizes and placed my order. When I picked it up it was a thin crust and not deep dish. When I asked why it wasn't deep dish, the girl who had taken my order proceed to stop taking the current phone order she was taking to tell me I didn't say anything about deep dish. When a mistake happens the last thing you do is call the customer a liar! I was told over and over that I didn't order deep this and that nothing could be done about it. Definitely avoiding this place at all cost. I recommend any other pizza place over this completely incompetent and right down rude staff! read more
