We were looking for a nice restaurant that was having a costume contest and decided on Adele's…read more I've never been here before, and I'm always looking to give new places a try! The ambience in this restaurant is great! They have a big bar area, with comfy chairs and tables in their lounge. It's separated from the dining area. There's enough room for live music, which they had on Halloween. Low lighting throughout for an intimate feel. We were greeted and seated immediately, but we were a little disappointed in the lack of attendance at 8:30 PM. We had a couple of drinks and a couple of items off of the appetizer menu, and then ultimately decided to head to Johnson City to see what festivities were going on there. The appetizer pricing seemed a little high to me ($20 each plate) but the dishes tasted good. The croquettes are really rich and cheesy. I didn't get a lot of lamb flavor from the flautas, but they were good. They also had free chicken wings and chips & salsa for their Halloween event. The wings & salsa were excellent! If we had stayed another 20 minutes, we probably could've won the costume contest ($50 prize) because we were the only ones dressed up besides the staff, but we didn't want wait until 10PM. It's a classy joint with a speak-easy kind of vibe. Give it a try!

This is an amazing hidden gem. When you walk in, you can feel an upscale, relaxed vibe. There are…read moremany seating options: the bar, the lounge, the dining area, and the patio (patio does allow smoking.) We went in a Saturday when they had live music. They have local artists come in every week. The music was great and they had the volume low enough where you could still have a conversation if you wanted. The staff was so nice and attentive. They gave great recommendations of the menu. They have an good wine selection. Most of the bottles are from Flat Creek Winery. We had the 4 Horseman which was full-bodied. Definitely would recommend. The baked brie is delicious! It tastes so good with the bread. We had the lemon garlic penne with chicken. The sauce is so delicious and you can distinctly taste the lemon and garlic. The pasta was cooked to perfection. The chicken Marsala was good. Being a mushroom fan, I would have loved more mushrooms in the sauce, but overall was tasty. This was our first time at Adele's but it definitely won't be our last!

Fortunately, we live in Spicewood so it was a short drive. You can call in your order, or place it online which is what I did. After ordering, they will give you a time estimate but today they were exceptionally busy. Fortunately, someone called and let me know it was going to take longer. They are located just a stones throw off 71 and very easy to find. You really can't miss them; they built a really nice covered patio area where you can sit and wait or dine right there. They advertise pulled pork and brisket for their pizza along with the traditional toppings. I ordered a pepperoni with Italian sausage, fresh sliced mushrooms and sliced pickled jalapenos. When I picked up the pie and got into the car, the smell from the pizza made me want to pull over right then and have a slice. Even I live just minutes away, I didn't want to wait the smell is so enticing! First, they use fresh herbs and the sauce is like something you would expect to get in New York City. Too many places serve very bland red sauces on their pizza but the sauce alone is amazing! The meats (pepperoni and sausage) were also quality as well as the veggies. The cheese was good but I wanted to try it with the fresh Mozzarella. Unfortunately, they were out today so I will have to give it a try another time. They also have deep dish pies but for now, they only have medium size pies. Bottom line, this is the best pizza we have had since moving to Texas and this includes anything in Austin. With the growth that is going to happen up in this area, I can only imagine how popular this place will become. Hopefully in the future they will have large sizes as well. You won't be disappointed if you have one of their pizzas. I just recommend ordering ahead because they do take a bit of time. But it's certainly worth the wait. We have found our "go to" pizza place!
