The crust was like a big piece of paper. In other words, lacking about two-thirds of the amount of dough it should have had. There was hardly any sauce on it. Very difficult to even pick up a slice of the pizza itself. Other than that, pretty good taste. read more

This location needs training for their employees. I gave my order 5 times to the employee working the register and they could not understand 2 large pan crust pizzas with 2 salads. I ended up having to do 2 transactions as they forgot to charge me for one pizza, and I'm honest. This kid continued to mix up what kind of crust and when they finally got everything ready after waiting almost an hour, out comes still a wrong pizza on regular crust. They then took the pizza to the back and put it into a pan crust tin figuring I wouldn't know the difference. It didn't rise properly when I got it home, so I called and spoke to the shift manager who said their boss would call me on Sunday but never did. Just ordered a cowboy pizza, sadly it left me needing hundreds of dollars worth of dental care! I cooked my pizza and took a bite when it was cooled, the delicious pizza I was craving !!!! Then I took a second bite and was immediately overcome with pain. I cracked my tooth!!! When I spit out my bite in a napkin I couldn't believe my eyes! It looked to be an olive pit. Forgivable mistake given they use canned olives. However when I called the restaurant to let them know to check the olives because I just broke my tooth, they could care less!!!! After flying in- we didn't know what to eat and the bf told me about Papa Murphy's as we were driving by. The concept: take and bake BUT there's a bonus- take it to the bar next door and they'll bake it for you! They close at 9pm and we walked in at 8:57pm and they were more than happy to help us. 1 large ($15)- half garlic chicken and murphy's combo (their version of a supreme) The garlic chicken side was so good- crisp crunchy crust- garlic spread- good amount of chicken to veggie ratio and the best part... cheeessy! Murphy's combo- 3 types of meat- salami pep and sausage with onions, olives and tomatoes. Ingredients stacked pretty high although by the time I had a slice of this- the crust was soggy. Prob would like it to be in the oven a little longer - possibly make the crust a bit crisper but nonetheless- it was still tasty. read more

Back in the days of residency training, I was quite poor. So poor, in fact, that when I would shop at Winco, I would see people with food stamps feasting like Xerxes, compared to my meals consisting of cheese that simply said, "cheese brand" and spam. I would make sure I recycled my aluminum cans so I could buy a $1 loaf of generic white bread. I think when you compare salary and work hours, I made about $3/hour. Anyway. I'm a baller now, but memories, like crazy ex-girlfriends, don't always fade into the background quickly and quietly. Strapped for cash and free time, as a then-single male, high end meals were unobtainable and forget about spending 40 minutes over a stove, so I frequented this place a lot. I lived about 3 minutes away from this Papa Murphy's, so it was very easy to call in, preheat, drive over, and be ready to go just like that. They were always ready for me, always giving out coupons, and understanding when I forgot coupons. The taste speaks for itself and it's just as good as any Papa Murphy's preparation and your own baking, but their speed and readiness were what really stood out. read more

Papa Murphy's has been around for a long time but I some how considered it kids' pizza -- you know, the stuff of post teen sport events and slumber parties. But we've been gluten free for 6 months and have found a wide and largely unsatisfactory offering of gluten-free crusts. Someone told us about Papa Murphy's and we thought we'd give it a try. My husband ordered a basic veggie -- $16 for a medium -- and stood by as it was freshly assembled and wrapped. A short time in the oven (12 minutes at 425 on a preheated pizza stone) produced a tasty pizza with a thin CRISP cracker-like crust. This basic pizza could easily be enhanced with a drizzle of olive oil, anchovies, red pepper flakes, capers or any other treats you might find in your pantry. We will definitely do this again. read more

Really disappointing for a first time user of coupon. Went in with a friend and we each placed exact orders to go. I specifically brought in two cut out coupons from home, because I wasn't sure which I could use because their coupons are similar. Our orders were only for medium size item but I didn't know it only is available in medium since I was new to it . When he told me my amount, my friend spoke up and said that doesn't seem right and that she'd always paid a dollar less every time she brought in her coupon. Come to find out there was one OTHER coupon I should've clipped. (Think about all the people who receive those in their mail, but forget them every time and I remembered to cut mine out, just one too few!) So he stood by his original price and wouldn't give me the $3 off. But the kicker was he gave me back the coupon. So it didn't matter if I'd given him the "correct" coupon or not. So he could've honored my wrong coupon in good faith ! That's just plain BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! read more

Very unfortunate that this place is a hit and miss, I love papa Murphy's pizza with a slight modification of light red sauce, and today when I went in I ordered two family pepperoni pizza's, easy on the red sauce, and what I got was, red sauce pouring out from underneath my toppings as if they caked the red sauce on, which leads me to believe that this was prepared the night before and instead of doing what the customer requested they thought I'd be too stupid to realize that it's not light on the sauce. Get your act together if you want to stay in business; looks like I'll be switching back to the west Linn branch maybe they got their act together. read more

I love the pizza but can not eat at this location again. I called and the phone rings and rings and no one answers.. I called back a couple other times and finally I place my order. I show up to pick up my pizza and the phone is ringing. I tell that gal, "go ahead and answer that and I will wait" Her reply, "Oh no, we don't answer the phone when we are busy"...WHAT!?!? That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. I am standing in the establishment ready to pay so they have my business. The business they don't have is the poor hungry soul who is tired of hearing the phone ring so they hang up and get food somewhere else. Look, this pizza is far from gourmet, nobody's claiming it's the best, but for $9 for a large (with coupon) it satisfies the urge when you want a pizza. The crust is very thin that doesn't puff up when you cook it nor gets chewy, and the cheese is a lower grade that is overly greasy. I get it, but I can deal with it for the price and convenience. But today I got a mushroom pizza and didn't notice until I got home that there were sausage chunks mixed in with the mushrooms. They're both grey, how could I tell that until I unwrapped it and got right up close to it that they're not the same? Well regardless, I'm a vegetarian so this was obviously not edible for me and had to be thrown out. I called them to let them know of their mushrooms being tainted. The guy said he was sorry but didn't offer to replace the pizza or rectify the situation in any way. At this point I wouldn't have wanted a new one anyway because if there is such cross-contamination with the meat and vegetables already who knows what else it extends to. But it felt like they really didn't care and probably won't do much to fix the issue either. So forget it, as I said, it's a decent pizza usually but nothing great so I really won't be missing much since I'm not going to go back to this place. read more
