Cute shop and they also have a great selection of Italian products in the shop, plus their own ready-made items like homemade frozen pizzas and take-and-bake entrees, which is such a nice bonus. Super disappointed in the quality of the food at this Eagan location. Davanni's is usually pretty good elsewhere. Deep dish pizzas with nice golden crust. Not loving the customer service as they apologized and said the food should not have been like this, but their action was to give me a voucher for less than what I had paid for. Paid extra for deep dish, too. I had my order to go and I felt bad feeding my family burnt food when we got home. Definitely disappointed in the food quality and overall experience.

The green dipping sauce was similar to a tomallito salsa. The size that came with the 10" pizza was super tiny. I hate forced tips at checkout when paying with a card. My bestie and I also tried the buffalo chicken sandwich - it was good, but honestly I don't remember tasting any buffalo sauce - it looked like a standard grilled chicken patty. For dinner, I ordered the Lemon Chicken with Roasted Veggies, while my husband chose the build-your-own baked pasta dish, loaded with plenty of vegetables. The only downside was our table location. We were seated right next to the kitchen door, and every time someone went in or out, the door made a pretty loud bang. It was distracting and a little irritating throughout the meal.
