(This is very important in the scorching July and August weather in the Falls.) The owner greets you from behind the grill as you enter; it's an open-plan kitchen. There are multiple waitresses, so there's little waiting for orders to be taken, or for food to arrive. The panchan is fantastic: The kimchi is very spicy and sour. We loved the BBQ-your-own pork belly, beef, chicken, and spareribs. We loved our afternoon lunch here, and then went to the Red Ganache across the street for something chocolate!

There were underseasoned cucumbers, lightly boiled broccoli with a drizzle of (I kid you not) thousand island dressing, and mostly tasteless black beans. No radish, bean sprouts, fish cake, seaweed or other staple banchan. When we arrived, it was 5:30 pm and no other customers were present. Despite that, it took several minutes for them to come out of the back to greet us, and after we ordered a very long time to get food and tea (which we had to return...)
