I haven't been to papa john in a few years and thought we would try it. The pizza is really good. They have garlic sauce that comes with each pizza. It is a great extra that is free! The other pizza places charge you for sauce. I give 4 stars for average. The reason for the lack of customer service. The several staff members didn't seem to know what they were doing and didn't want to help me or the other customers there. Will go back again. Just won't be my first choice. read more

Website wasn't working for online orders, tried calling and the guy put me on hold then after a minute of waiting he was soo incompetent at his job he literally couldn't even take my order over the phone, I said I'll just go somewhere else. Ended up with Maverick Pizza which was surprisingly not bad. PJ just lost a customer. read more

Waited an 1.5 for a pizza that said 20 min wait ( was patient it's whatever) my husband finally gets the pizza and waits for the front desk lady to collect payment and she disappears in the back so he comes home assuming I paid online. They proceed to call me THREE HOURS LATER at 9:30 at night (when I work in the morning at 3 am) to ask for my card info. You'd think being the pizza was super late and she missed the payment they'd just wave it and move on as a courtesy but instead I get woken up to go hunt my card down not even knowing it wasn't paid for. Seriously I never leave a review that just irritated me so much. read more

Too thin. Dried pepperoni and HARDLY any cheese. The cheese sticks are not the same as the photo on their website. This location has sucked the last 3 times we have gotten pizza here. Whoever made this needs to be retrained this pizza was poor quality and not correctly made. I am more irritated by the cheese sticks because they are not suppose to look that way. Ghetto! Tastes just as it looks. Dried and gross. read more

Our pizza was delivered smashed up and when we called the store to notify them the person on the phone was extremely rude, giving the excuse that it's a "Saturday night and we're slammed." No apology or solution offered. When we asked if our order could be refunded he scoffed, "I mean I guess sure whatever" and hung up. Just impeccable service lol. I don't think this place even cares about their service quality or ratings so it's probably pointless to review, but nonetheless here's my contribution to this garbage pit. read more

Papa Johns Pizza - papa's sides and a side or three - Pizza Near Me - St. George, Utah

Saint George, Utah Received post card in mail 3/20/21 -2 large for the price of 1 - went online- placed my 2 pizzas on order - entered promo code carefully from card - discount did not immediately show but i got a green check mark when i entered the code so i thought they might adjust it. NOPE! Billed full price for 2 large. called store immediately after, gave order # explained problem. Manager was "less than helpful" I would rate customer service ZERO stars, and suggest not ordering from the store on Tabernacle in St George, UT. Also contacted customer service online, was told they couldn't adjust the order. They wanted to have me cancel and re-order online. (if the first order didn't process the promo code right....what's the point?) I paid for the full price but they lost me as a customer. Don't bother with promo codes. Also they use Google to find your address, and google always drops the "West" out of my address. Have told them about this 3x and still not corrected (it's a Google problem....But still, they should have some way to resolve it with Google) A common issue with big franchise companies... is the bigger they are, the less able and/or willing they are to resolve things because they don't give local people any empowerment to resolve issues, or enough money per hour to "care". Vote with your wallet. Walk away from Papa John's and other companies that don't remember how to care about their customers! I know "It's just a pizza" to Papa John's and i WAS "Just a customer" No big deal, right? Goodbye Papa John's. read more

Horrible. I ordered online and was right next to the location on the BLVD and it rerouted me to the location 6 miles away automatically without my knowledge. I had to drive an extra 20 minutes after already driving at the downtown location. Never ordering this place again. read more

I've always loved Papa Johns but will never order from this location again. Paid $44 for 2 pizzas that I never received. I called the store an hour and a half after placing my order wondering what was taking so long and the manager that answered told me his driver just couldn't find the place, basically told me my apartment doesn't exist (despite placing an order at the same location 4 days prior that was delivered without a problem). All I wanted was my money back (still waiting for that to be reversed) but I was really surprised I was offered nothing at all to make up for their mistake. Not my fault your driver is an idiot. Avoid this place. read more

I've been to this papa Johns a couple of times now and every time I do I am greeted almost instantly with a smile and someone ready to take my order! The blonde girl who helped me was very nice and incredibly personable even though it was just a quick interaction. It was all ready when they said it would be. Pizza was delicious and she talked me into getting the cheese bread too and I am so glad I did!! I will be coming back here just for those, hands down most addicting greasy carbs someone could want! Great experience read more

Customer service will put his place out of business. The guy I talked to sounded mad at me for calling. I guess I must have inconvenienced him when I asked to order a pizza. I'll go somewhere else next time. If you don't like your job, maybe you shouldn't have applied. Update: I drove to pick up my pizza after the 25 minute wait. When I arrived they told me they have no record of me placing an order. I guess I really did make the guy upset when I called to order a pizza. I guess I'll go somewhere else after all. read more

Would not recommend to anyone. If you're about to order from here, don't. We ordered a 10 piece chicken and literally got crumbs and tiny fried pieces of bread. When we called to tell them, they said they remembered making it and gave us extra.. Extra what? Crumbs? They wouldn't even reimburse the order. The crust on the pizza was tough and the pizza was cold. Worst ever. So sad because we used to always order from these guys. Never again. read more

It took over an hour for the pizza to get here. The driver called because he was lost, buthe after he called it still took over a half hour for him to arrive at our home. It's pretty upsetting whend the store is less than 5 miles away that it would take that long. THE PIZZA WAS COLD. THE SODAS WERE THE WRONG KIND. HE TRIED TO GIVE US SOMEONE ELSE'S PIZZA. I am extremely disappointed. & don't Evan ask how long it took to bring back the right sodas! I can give you a hint. We could have ordered pizza & drinks from pizza factory ~ received the pizza & right drinks ~ ate half of our meal ~ before our complete order was delivered to us Oh and we had a pizza with half toppings on one part half on the other.... apparently they do not know what half is. Half to them is 3 pieces and 5 pieces. Close does not count on pizza toppings. read more

Don't waste your time and money! Worst pizza I've ever eaten. Crust soaked in oil, sloppy job on toppings and they don't even use real cheese on the pizza but the nacho cheese sauce. Not to mention delivery took an hour. Just DON'T DO IT! DO NOT ORDER PIZZA FROM HERE. read more

Terrible service. Extremely unprofessional and rude, me and my family won't be returning

About a month ago my friend and I ordered a pizza from this place to be delivered. It took about two hours we called an hour in and was told over the system's down it's on its way and then we called again and they said okay the next time your pizza is free. So we try to call tonight to see about the free pizza that we were promised the last visit and was Rulli interjected by the manager Mike. The general manager. He was very rude to my friend he wouldn't let her speak he spoke over her said basically would you expect we make minimum wage here. He said there's no proof of a free pizza so you're not getting nothing he would put her on hold for extended periods of time and then come back he was belligerent he was rude and he hung up on my friend and then when she called back he's like berating her. And then she tried to call back again because my it mean while he keeps hanging up on her she calls back again and he tells she wants to corporate number phone number and he wouldn't give it to her told her that he didn't have to give it to her I would never go to this place I would never recommend this place to anybody it's the worst place the worst customer service I can't believe how rude these people are and every time it's always been a problem I would never ever go here I would never recommend this to my worst enemy read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Most of staff here is so unprofessional. One of the so called "managers" was LAYING INTO one of his employees to the point where I HEARD IT OUTSIDE!!! The poor employee left crying amidst a pandemic and when I asked to speak to this "manager", Denver I believe his name was, it was a idiotic kid being absolutely inhumane to his ESSENTIAL employees amidst a GLOBAL PANDEMIC. On top of that his service was so absolutely rude to the person before me (he was on his phone for half the time I saw him) I simply walked out without another word or an overpriced shitty pizza. I would recommend immediate removal for the sake of customer service. You need to train your employees properly and not just hire every high school kid off the streets for management. As a manager myself, I can't even fathom treating my TEAM like that and I can't support a company that rewards degrading another person like that. Inexcusable. -10/10 spend your money elsewhere. read more

Though the pizza tasted amazing, I wish it would have been better service! I have been to different Papa Johns and had excellent service and here it was terrible! I ordered online and I got my pizza and hour and ten minutes later! I literally live just down the street from there building! I was outraged! When the delivery boy gave me my pizza I told him about the issue and there was no apology no nothing! I opened the box and the pizza was room temperature not even hot. Papa Johns is a great franchise they definitely need better management at this location. read more

Went to this location last Saturday night. We phoned our order in at 710 pm and arrived at the Papa Johns at 725. The place had no customers, only one order ahead of us and close to 8 employees just wandering around. Two employees were right out front smoking of the establishment. We should have left when it was a Saturday night and they had no business. We paid for our pizzas (we ordered a large and extra large pizza) and about 5 minutes after paying the extra large came out of the oven. However, they didn't make our large pizza. A blonde girl who looked as if she were on drugs came in from smoking and realized she didn't make our other pizza. With that many employees standing around doing nothing and no orders how do you forget to make a pizza. We stood around and for 15 minutes and finally got our pizza but by this time our extra large was cold. We got home and had to microwave the pizza. We will not return and by the looks of it, this place will soon be out of business. read more

It seems that every time I have dealt with this location, there is an issue. I ordered the Steak pizza online they arrived with the other pizza ordered, my phone died so they couldn't reach me and tried to charge me for both pizzas then give me a free pizza coupon since they were out of the sauce for the steak pizza. I would have paid for only the one pizza and excepted the coupon but the manager did not think that was right. Ordered online made the mistake of pressing confirm then realized it was not set to delivery, but apparently Papa Johns does not allow changes to the order so they would not allow me to switch and pay the difference. That is more of a company issue as a whole, but definitely not helping my experience. Another time they forgot the Soda I ordered, and just on my last order, online guaranteed a 30-40 minute wait which must not be up to date, about an hour and a half later it arrived cold. Just have not had a good experience with these people. I think it comes down to bad management. Even if they have a great deal, I will not be ordering from this place again. I get the steak pizza issue kind of but feel the classy thing would have been to give a coupon for the missing pizza and just charge me for the food there since my order was not actually fully delivered. It is just issue after issue that has caused the one star review. read more

Having limited choices in St. George, we have ordered from this location numerous times; however, EVERY SINGLE ORDER has been wrong in one way or another. We are now done. Our last order took over two hours to arrive. We called twice and were told it was already out for delivery (which were lies). Then, when we spoke to the manager complaining about it, he acted as if we were overreacting and offered us nothing to feel better about the situation - including an apology. When the pizza did arrive - 2 hours and 15 minutes after ordering - part of our order was still missing. THE ABSOLUTE WORST! read more

I LOVE papa johns pizza, but this location is horrible!!! They screwed up our order and when we called to complain there were no apologies. They wouldn't make a new pizza, they wouldn't refund anything and they were extremely rude on the phone. It's too bad that such a good franchise has such terrible management. Order from pizza factory instead, the quality of both food and service are much higher, yes it's more expensive, but the coupons in your phone book will make it just about even! They have lost me as a customer for good, don't support this franchise, they are bad people that own and manage it!!! read more

I am not one to write a review but this just was too much!!! After a long day of chemotherapy for my husband all he wanted was a certain kind of pizza. He earned it!!! Nothing ever sounds good and so when he wants to eat, we eat! Well I online ordered and deselected the 2 things he didn't want on the pizza. When it was delivered it had the 2 things he didn't want on the pizza and not only were they there they were doubled!! Our pizza was so soggy when I picked up a piece toppings fell through. On a normal day I wouldn't complain, but on chemo day I will go to great lengths to see a smile on the hubs face! I politely called the store and talked to the young guy on the phone and told him the problem and asked him if they could remake it. I did pay$44 dollars for inedible pizza! The guy said let me ask my boss and the boss said" she ordered the pizza on line herself it's not our fault she is so stupid! I couldn't believe my ears!! I told the kid to tell him I heard what he said and he told me he was the owner so in other words he could do what he wanted! I was so disappointed with this experience and the way it was handled that I had to share! read more
