Cheesesteak Pizza w/ stuffed crust- cheesy, peppers & onions, steak, nice puffy cheese stuffed crust. XL New York Style w/ pepperoni- slightly thinner crust w/ cheese & meat extended to edge. The Works w/ Garlic Parmesan Cheese crust enhancement adds nice baked cheese flavor (think Cheezit crackers) but also makes crust tougher in texture. Hawaiian BBQ Chicken pizza- bacon, chicken, onions, pineapple, BBQ sauce. Nice flavors; crust got stretched a little funny on this one, but it tasted good. Pepperoncini & garlic sauce included for each. With coupon got every pizza for around $10 each + free delivery because $45 worth of food ordered. 4 pizzas brought to my door for $50 isn't a bad deal. had a ground beef and mushroom pizza from here last night. The pizza was delivered in what seemed less than 15 minutes after ordering, which i thought was a good thing being i was hungry. Opened it and took a bite something tasted off, not bad, just noticeably off. I mean, how many times have you ever thought to put salt on a pizza in order to try and give it some flavor and I'm no salt addict but this pizza was REALLY OFF. I still tried to stick it out and managed to eat 3 slices, with salt until i had enough, it was too much and i was not to force anymore down. About 2ami woke to my stomach telling me something was drastically wrong I'll suffice to say that pizza made me sick to my stomach, not ever again will i takea chance on my stomach and order from there again. 1 & done. I don't understand why the reviews are so low I love this place. The pizza and breadsticks is really consistently delicious. I've ordered from here numerous times and love the food. The only thing I cannot stand is the lady that answers the phone. She keeps trying to upsell when I clearly know what I want during the order. I don't want to be upsold, I just want to order my food. Can I put no stars? We ordered a pizza. 31-41 minutes was the time we were given. We called an hour and 10 later and a recording told us that it was "on its way!" ... 20 minutes later, we called again and this time we were told the delivery person took the wrong pizza and ours was still sitting there, in the store. Did we get refunded? Who knows. But we were given a " quality guarantee " (puh-lease) whatever that means and a free pizza next time we order. Like that'll ever happen. What do we have here? Pottstown's finest. I called for carryout. Asked for the tuesday deal named "Papas Play". The deal is valid tuesdays only and only if Monday night football total score adds up to 51 points..which it did. The girl who answered had not been trained in telephone ettiquite. This was the worst pizza experience EVER!!!!!!!!!!! I ordered two pizzas and a order of bread sticks. The bread sticks had so much garlic butter sauce on them that it leaked all through the box and actually leaked all over the other two pizza boxes. I asked the driver about it and she said "oh thats just the garlic sauce, it must of leaked out" she had a total "oh well" attitude about it. It was so greasy and it was all over everything. It was a complete mess. I called and talked to the manager Chris who tried to be helpful but all i wanted was a refund but they were only willing to replace the order. Excellent pizza for being a chain place. I had a customized pizza and they got my order exactly correct. The manager took my order and made it. My only complaints are that if you don't use coupons, they can be very expensive and they don't offer things like their competition such as salads or pasta. I recommend the garlic sauce to dip the pizza/crust in. The chicken poppers are pretty good as well. Overall, I would definitely go back! read more

I love papa johns pizza, but my experience here was not the best. I ordered my pizza, and noticed that it didn't arrive my pizza in under 5 seconds. I called them up and they said that I was a gaby (gay baby) and hung up. The pizza arrived 16 years later and instead of a pepperoni pizza, they gave me a pepperoni armadillo. Didn't realize how bad this was until we ordered from a Papa John's in Maryland. The Pizza we received in Towson, MD just blew the Pottstown, pizza away. The MD pizza was like what I remembered ordering when I we first moved to MOntco 20 years ago. The crust was crisp but not burnt, the ingredients covered the pizza and were a plenty. Not like the last couple we received from the Pottstown location. It's like the local Papa John's is skimping on everything but still charging full price. If I could give this place negative stars I would. Called and ordered a pizza at 4 to be delivered a 5:30. At 6:15 I called to see where said pizza was. Jill answered and said it hasn't been processed. Okay, so does that mean pizza is still there? "Let me put you on hold" she says. On hold for 10 minutes before hanging up and calling back. No answer, then disconnected. Call again. No answer. CALL FROM A DIFFERENT NUMBER guess who answers immediately? Jill. When I tell her who I am, she says "oh". That's it. "Oh". So yeah, this place screens your calls if they don't feel like telling you where your order is. Cancelled my order immediately since they obviously weren't planning on delivering it anyway. It was Valentines Day. I was working at a restaurant in the same town. At 2:00 in the afternoon I placed an order for My husband and daughter as a surprise heart shaped pizza to be delivered at 7:15 the same evening. At 8:00pm a sent a text to my husband asking how his heart shaped pizza and wings were. He had no idea what I was talking about. I called Papa Johns in a panic as I was working. They couldn't find my order. They explained that they were busy, kinda got that as I was in the same industry and understood. I asked what time it would be delivered. I was asked if I could come pick it up. I had to respond no as I was working. That was my Valentines gift. I was still okay with an hour late and was told it would be sent out with the next driver. I was okay with that as I would be off soon. I asked if I could add to the order and was told it was already made (for a 7:15 delivery) . Thanks but no thanks, An hour old pizza wasn't what I was looking for... even for free, even without adding to my bill, even without charging me a $2.50 delivery charge. Wish I could comment on the pizza, perhaps you should look at the other reviews. Not a Fan. read more
