1st and last time coming here. We went for the special St Paddy's day menu. Not impressed at all!…read moreThe French onion soup was watery and had absolutely no taste. The Guinness beef stew looked like dog food and had no taste either. We all got dessert and again none of us were impressed. For the price of everything were expecting a lot more than we got. The staff was great, all very talkative. I thought the atmosphere was decent. Sorry won't be back again.

Let me start with it's a nice little place and I will definitely go again. We went in on a rainy…read moreSaturday night and got seated very quickly. All through our visit I will say all the waiters and waitresses were all hustle and bustle! I mean they were moving! Their menu had a few unique things on it. We had the prosciutto stuff mozzarella sticks for an appetizer and they were tasty. The waitress had offered us ranch or marinara and since they were mozzarella sticks we took the marinara, which was good, but next time I'll do the ranch because I could see how that could really kick it up! While we waited for our dinner, I couldn't help but notice lots of yummy looking things passing by. Most notable was the wedge salads and the nachos. For my main course I had the Chicken Vera Cruz. It was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The chipotle cream sauce was so good and next time I'll be asking for for extra on the side as some of it got mixed into the cilantro-lime rice and yes, yes, yes that should be a thing. It was more quiet than a tavern normally is which was good. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Overall, I recommend trying this place out!

Are you looking for a bit of history lesson while you sip your beer? Then head over to Dew Point…read moreand you'll find the perfect place. Set in a snuff mill built in 1901, there's plenty of history to explore at this former manufacturing site. The brewery is located on the second floor of this family run spot with plenty of seating inside or out. We had the friendliest bartentder walk us through the beer options & quick history of the site and headed back downstairs to enjoy our brews in the spring sunshine. There's plenty of tables (with umbrellas for shade!) on the patio and some additional tables tucked underneath the small tree grove having the stage. There wasn't a food truck but judging from the table next to us, feel fee to bring your own picnic. The drive out to this area is half of the joy in this little spot, we know we'll be back again this summer.

The space inside is small and cozy, and the space outside is large and spectacular. Several tables, an outdoor bar, a huge lawn for cornhole and other games. The outdoor area alone seems worth the visit. It was a freezing cold March day so we spent all of our time inside. My girlfriend and I each tried a few different beers, including a porter, a brown ale, and an IPA. All were excellent. I love any brewery where the staff talk to you like old friends, and this was that kind of place. We made friendly conversation with the bartender and shared stories about the brewing scene in Delaware, his background, and our own experience with breweries in NJ where we are from. Wonderful hospitality. Due to the size of the brewery, they only had about eight beers on tap. Their mainstays are the Nit Wit (Belgian witbier) and the Hopworts Express (IPA), but beyond that they are unable to list on their website what beers are on tap, so you'll just have to be surprised when you show up. They don't seem to have any beers to sell to go, either. Overall a great place that we would definitely return to!
