Disappointing Upside-Down Pizza…read more I ordered a plain upside-down pizza last night, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. I was expecting an upside-down pizza with a generous layer of tomato sauce that would add moisture and flavor to each slice. Instead, the sauce was extremely thin and appeared to have been spread over the cheese in little more than a dried-out smear. There simply wasn't enough sauce to provide the flavor or moisture I was expecting. The crust was another major issue. It was hard and dry throughout, and when I bit into it, it literally crumbled into pieces. The combination of the dry crust and lack of sauce made the entire pizza feel unusually dry. Based solely on the pizza I received, I would have to rate it as one of the worst pizzas I've had in quite some time. That said, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. It may have been a one-time occurrence or simply an off night in the kitchen. However, if this is representative of their typical upside-down pizza, I would strongly recommend taking another look at the recipe and preparation.
