Unfortunately, my most recent experience was extremely disappointing. My son ordered honey lemon pepper wings, but the cashier misheard it as hot lemon pepper. I was on speakerphone and heard the entire exchange -- he did not say hot. When we returned to correct it, the owner insisted the order was correct and even suggested reusing wings we had already taken home to remake the order. That raised serious food safety concerns for me. We were also told, "Next time, check your order before leaving." Customers shouldn't have to verify mistakes made behind the counter. Sadly, the wings were extremely salty, the fries have lately been lukewarm & burned, and the okra was overcooked & greasy. This place used to be a go-to for my family, but after this experience, I can't recommend it anymore.

The not so good: it took longer to get delivered and I would've wanted more shrimp for the size, even if that meant less rice. I'd order from there again and would try other items.

The fish were relatively small pieces but they were decent enough to enjoy and feel like the trip was worth it. Almost anything is better than Captain D's fish that sliced in half to make two pieces . My only qualm were the fries . While the fries weren't heavily salted; they were hard and cold . Would I eat here again ? I would, but I wouldn't make a special trip for it. The fish were good. It wasn't overly seasoned .

Service was extremely disappointing today…read more I ordered a 6-piece wing (not the meal). After the cashier gave me the total, I tapped my card and paid. Immediately after, I asked, "Wait, how much is the meal?" She said it was about the same price as what I ordered. I then asked what came with the meal, and she said wings, fries, and a drink. I responded that I would prefer the meal instead. Her response was, "Well, you already paid for it." Mind you, I was literally still signing and even tipping 22% when this conversation happened. There was no effort to accommodate or simply adjust the order just a dismissive response. What made it worse was the lack of professionalism. The employee went back to sitting in a chair with no shoes on, feet up, and scrolling on her phone which is exactly what she was doing when I first walked in. Customer service matters. With so many dining options in the area, this experience makes it easy to choose somewhere else next time. Unfortunately, this will be the last money I spend at this location.
