Best pizza in Mississippi by far! Their food truck was amazing but now they have a full service restaurant and bar and the food is even more amazing! Award winning pizza dough.... high quality ingredients, and the portion size of the toppings are perfect. We also tried the Philly cheesesteak sandwich which was beyond good. They use their pizza crust for the bread, baked and folder over almost calzone style. The quality of the shaved sliced prime rib is excellent, the meat was incredibly moist, tender, and the sautéed onions and green peppers complemented by their beer cheese made this culinary surprise a solid 10 out of 10. Great portion, priced just right, arrived to the table piping how..... seriously, order this sandwich!!!! Great small-town atmosphere, and the service is exceptional. We were greeted with a warm welcome, a smile, and that friendliness was also extended by our server who gave excellent service, checked back a few times, refilled drinks, and kept us informed about how long our order would take to arrive at our table. The place is worth the drive from Laurel.... Five stars for sure.... go for the pizza, but also try other items off their surprisingly great menu. The pizza was soooo good. We got the chicken bacon ranch pizza and waited probably 10-15 minutes for it to be made. We got a water, Diet Coke, and pizza and it was about $14. We always want to try new pizza places. This one is a good one. We ordered the pizza and before we knew it they were ready....super fast. The pepperonis had a little spiciness to them which was new and great.....not used to that. The sauce had alot of flavor as well. The crust was crispy and cooked well. I liked my pizza here! We stopped by on a drive through Laurel on a Thursday for lunch. No line and we had our pizza in maybe 10 minutes or so. I got the roma pizza which is the traditional pepperoni pizza. It was yummy! I wish the crust had a little more flavor though. I would definitely stop in again. read more

O M G this pizza blows every other Jones County pizza out of the Mississippi aleatory-filled water! The owner worked for over a year perfecting the pizza dough recipe.... the pizza is cooked nicely in his wood-fired oven behind the food truck, loaded with toppings that you can actually taste! Excellent, friendly people. Price is excellent too and I hope they don't change it until at least 2025. Only observation has nothing to do with the pizza but more to do with the trash cans provided at this outdoor mini-food truck plaza..... openings of the trash cans are TOO SMALL for the pizza boxes! One has to use a lot of muscle to crunch up the box to squeeze it into the can opening.... they need to swap out the trash cans around the pizza truck with cans that can accommodate the used pizza boxes. People.... this is a MUST! If you want the best pizza in Laurel, then you have to try Papa Doughs.... promise you will not be disappointed. Great job..... read more

Holy cow this is some dang great pizza. They use a sour dough starter for the best crust I have ever eaten. They can also do cauliflower crust. Mainly, because Carl is a body builder and he avoids the carbs. Carl and the two ladies are super nice! The pepperoni and mushroom pizza was seriously like a downtown New York or Chicago pizza. They spread out the dough and build the pizza when you order and then put it in a brick fired oven AND the whole thing is ready in 5 minutes from the time you order! I love this place and will eat here as often as I can get back. Let me reiterate this is a food truck that is cooking one of the finest quality pizzas I have ever had. Amazing! read more

I have a severe gluten allergy and was hard pressed to find gluten free offerings in Laurel. I was guided to Papa Dough's Pizza and am so grateful as I had a delightful lunch and the owner of the food truck even came out to sit and chat with me while I ate! He explained how they have a different process for gluten free crusts to ensure they don't get cross contaminated. I found him, his food truck, his pizza, and the service to be absolutely delightful! If I make my way back to Laurel from Austin this is where I will go to eat. read more
