He said it would be no problem to fix it and to bring it back on Thursday (6-5-2025), which we did. A few hours later, it was good as new with no charge. We still highly recommend Exotik Designs. While you're there, take a look around the garage/showroom - there are always a few interesting projects in progress (like a replica of the Jurassic Park movie tour vehicle).

A month ago I called up Exotix Designs to schedule a side mirror wrap. I inquired about a specific day and time and a male who identified himself as Eric over the phone scheduled me down for the selected day at 9:00am. The day before my appointment I called Exotix Designs to ask about a price estimate, which again Eric picked up the phone and assisted me with an estimate. Very cool, I was excited for the appointment everything was lined up and I had enough cash to pay for the service. I pulled up to Exotik Designs approximately 15 minutes ahead of the appointment time. Mind you this is a Thursday morning at 845am. The business was empty. Not one light on. I understand that sometimes life happens, stuff pops up. I took a photograph outside the business to add to Yelp in excitement. Just after 9am I called Exotix Designs phone number. After many rings, Eric picked up the phone. I reminded him of the scheduled appointment he booked me for. Eric told me he was running late and to just drop the Porsche keys in the key box. Eric continued to tell me he wouldn't have a time estimate for job completion and that his 2-3 employees were also busy and he was busy running a business. I was pretty dumbfounded with the phone conversation. First off, I've never met you Eric and no way in hell am I dropping my wives Porsche off at your shop without checking you out. Second, how does a legit business owner who wants my business blow off a scheduled appointment. I'm not someone who just trusts people who blow me off and let the Porsche keys fly to a key box without knowing the person who's touching our property. To wrap this up, reading one of the other 12 undetailed Yelp reviews for this business I get the vibe that Eric doesn't really care about his customers and his last phone conversation with me confirmed that. I'll gladly take my business elsewhere. Eric never even followed up with me over the phone to reschedule. His loss. If you are a car enthusiast who values service and respect for one's time I'd stay as far away from this shop as possible. The best part of this entire experience was Exotix Designs business hours on their front door listed Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and on their website! Knock knock...nobody's home! One star review, I won't ever be back!

In an industry where it would have been incredibly easy to "play games" or simply point to the fact that the warranty period had long since passed, Folbeck did the exact opposite. Instead of making excuses, they stood behind their reputation. They took the vehicle in immediately and performed all the necessary corrective work completely free of charge. Not only was the craftsmanship excellent this time around, but they also handled it in a very timely manner, getting me back on the road with minimal downtime. Took my vehicle in to have a lift kit installed and 9 months later I started to hear a noise when…read moremaking sharp turns. I got an oil change and looked underneath when on the rack and found both sway bar end links had popped off at the bottom end. Took pictures and found out they didn't match the sway bar end links that came with HRG Offroad 2 in lift kit that Folbeck had ordered. Took it in to Folbeck and Mitchell looked underneath and verified that indeed the sway bar end links had not been replaced with the new ones. The excuse was that HRG probably didn't send the end links with the kit. I pointed out that on the HRG website it shows a picture of all the parts included in the package and if they didn't send them then they should have informed HRG. It also states on the website specifically DO NOT USE OEM SWAY BAR END LINKS WITH THE LIFT KIT. I pointed this out to Mitchell also. He said he would order the new end links and put them on. The problem I have is there was no apology for not paying attention to detail for job they performed. There really is no excuse for not making sure you have all the correct parts AND following the instructions given by the manufacturer. There is no confidence on my part that the rest of the job was done correctly. To be fair, both Mitchell and Donny were very cordial and corrected the issue with no charge. But never admitted that they screwed up, thus no apology. Also to be fair. I took in my Ford F150 to have a leveling kit installed and they did a great job.

Long overdue review! After six months with no auto defects, I think I can give a proper review on…read morethe services received at A1! Long story short, I had a bumper which was damaged and required a replacement. However, I would find out that the auto repair that I went to before A1 was trying to have me have my car "totaled" as they deemed the damages too great to repair, despite it was only the bumper being damaged. Desperate to save my car, I ran around town looking for a repair shop willing to replace my bumper and not have my car totaled. I found Dena Greenlee with A1 and after listening to my story she told me to come by. She listened attently to the issues and had the repair technicians assessed my photos. A rough price was quoted and there was an arrangement to have my car picked up and towed over. Before Christmas (roughly 3 weeks in all), I got my car back! I can't say how thankful I am to A1! Having to go through a car accident is very traumatic, so do go through your insurance and coordinate with them about what are your best options. See if you can come by to have your vehicle serviced at A1 and hopefully have your car fixed!

The lady behind the counter said she would grab someone else and seemed to dismiss the $300 charge once I told her I wasn't paying that simply for an estimate. I was parked on 21st Street, completely against the curb, not over the white line or blocking traffic. My damage was on the right side so the estimator would have stood on grass not in the street. The only way out of their back lot was to back out, relying on an employee to stop traffic in both directions. Guess what, if something happened who is at fault? Sorry, but I am not trusting them to direct traffic. If anything happened, it would be the person driving, not directing traffic who is at fault. Another thing, not only is parking atrocious, but be prepared to be yelled at by the homeless. They obviously have an issue as you must be buzzed in the front entrance. Save yourself the trouble and just go elsewhere. They operate like they don't need your business and are the only shop in town. If they won't accommodate you for parking, imagine how the repairs or any conflicts will be handled.

Fred squeezed the seller in so she could bring the car in for the pre-purchase inspection before we drove to Nevada to see the car in person. I recently had to have my truck towed there after breaking down on my way to work. Shannon assured me that they would have my truck looked at quickly. I received a call within an hour with a diagnosis and estimate. They did not try to oversell me and they explained my problem in language I could understand. They had my truck fixed and ready to go by the early afternoon. I feel I should note that my co-worker is married to one of the owners/mechanics, and this is why I took my truck there initially. That said, Lancaster has done work on a number of my co-workers' vehicles, and everyone has been more than happy with the results. They have now done work on my truck twice for different problems. Absolutely awful. Brought truck in to replace full exhaust for 1100 dollars. Drove from Tahoe, got…read morehotel the night before to drop car at 7:30 am. Car wasn't done until almost 3. Tnt did not install full exhaust that I paid for instead they took shortcut by cutting off at straightest part leaving 4 feet of rusted pipe going into the engine ( the most important part) and this would have been the most time consuming if done correctly. I was charged full price in labor when corners were cut and only 3/4 of the exhaust was installed . The shops owner lied to me saying their welder wasn't in that day to weld on the bolt on tip that was originally discussed yet if you can see the very poor weld that was left on my truck is just unacceptable. I immediately went to another shop who quoted me almost 300 times weld on tip and confirmed a new exhaust should have been ran all the way to engine.Shop owner did not want to compensate me for having other shop weld on tip. I have filed complaint with https://www.bbb.org/us/nv Mechanics like this shop have no business being in business taking money from hard working customers. Stat clear of this shop so you don't robbed like I did.
