    a variety of donuts

"Eat more HOLE foods" says their box of donuts. This little hometown donut shop hits the spot every time I am able to get anything there. They open up early in the morning and close as soon as they run out! Sometimes that can be before noon... so be sure to get there early for some glazed goodness that is sure to put some pep in your step! Their giant cinnamon buns are awesome and so are their donuts. I prefer glazed or chocolate as my faves. They are a tad pricey but I try to support local small business when I can. I just wish they made French crullers.

Absolutely Delicious! The Cake Donuts are light and fluffy NOT greasy, the yeast donuts with the white cream in the middle just melt in your mouth! The white cream is light and fluffy and not too sweet! The owner Ryan was very nice and helpful! Thank you Panther Dough Joes

Cinnamon rolls as big as a medium pizza and holy jeezus are they delicious. I dream about the maple frosted donuts. Go early if you can. Check their Facebook page for daily updates and selection, and call ahead to reserve or place your order on your way there!

Panther's Dough Joe is located in the perfect community in Powell off Emory road. They open their doors every morning at 6:00 am with fresh baked doughnuts and coffee. The first time I visited Panther's Dough Joe, was on Valentines day I had the best made from scratch doughnuts ever. Panther's Dough Joe is not your everyday coffee and doughnut shop it's a bakery with made from scratch desserts that my son can't live without each week.

My wife, mom, and I arrived around 7:45 PM--just 15 minutes before their posted 8:00 PM closing time. I asked if it was too late to get dinner, and without hesitation, several staff members welcomed us in with big smiles and said, "not at all." That kind of genuine hospitality is rare, especially that close to closing. Brooklyn took care of us, and she was outstanding. From start to finish, she never once made us feel rushed, and neither did anyone else on staff. There wasn't even the slightest hint that they were trying to wrap things up for the night. That speaks volumes about the culture there. We've driven past this place for years saying, "we need to try it," and now our only regret is not stopping in sooner. The food was phenomenal--true Southern-style comfort food made fresh daily. I had the chicken fried steak, my wife had the pulled chicken, and my mom ordered the bologna sandwich. Every dish was spot on. My wife actually stopped in a month or two ago and has been going back every week or two since--and now I completely understand why. The restaurant was impeccably clean, and the entire staff gave the impression that they genuinely enjoy working there. That kind of environment doesn't happen by accident. They hit the mark in every area--food, service, cleanliness, and overall experience. 10 out of 10 cast iron skillets--seasoned to perfection and worth coming back for again and again. Highly recommend!!!

I had not been in DECADES -- but someone mentioned that they did a good chicken-fried steak, so I had to try. (I'm from Texas where CFS is part of the holy Trinity of Mexican, barbecue and CFS). Well, the CFS was pretty good, but I won't say great. Big, well-breaded, tasty and with good white gravy. But the sides were superb; I had fried green tomatoes and potato salad. I loved the chow-chow sauce combined with ranch dressing on the FGT, and the salad was very creamy and tasty. I'm not a potato salad snob; I've had it done many ways and I know some prefer one style over another....all I know is this went fast. Oh, by the way, it's a BIG meal. No person should eat all of that in one setting! I nearly forgot, I loved the cheese biscuit. It was very dense and so tasty. Hard to stop eating that before I packaged up about half my meal (and enjoyed very much the next day). Amenities-- they sell beer; even though I did not have that day, I know some meals I'd have loved to add a well-priced bottle. Service was great, friendly and responsive. I like the places that let me scan a QR code to pay and tip, and they had that. Also offered lots of desserets, both at the table and with a little bakery corner when you walk in/out, so you could pick up cookies, etc. At first I thought it was a bit pricey ($17 for most meat-and-two plates), but with the quality, worth it all. Oh, I even enjoyed the clientele...this is the kind of place full of older folks, one of whom had to comment on my food as she walked out, and then she stood and chatted with me a few minutes about how good it all was. Classic!

Being new to the area, I wouldn't have found Ingles Market had they not been on a "store locator"…read morefor a product I was trying to find that no other stores in the Knoxville area carry. The employees are really helpful, and their attitudes seem to portray that they're happy in their jobs. With Ingles being among a dying breed of non-corporate grocery store chains, and family owned, that appears to be key to happier, and helpful staff. The store is well organized and clean. The layout is logical and things are easy to find. Ingles offers everything you need in a grocery store and purchases help a USA company that is family owned.

Oh Ingles (sorry, ingles) Market #307, how dearly you came through for me!…read more I won't get into my reasons, but I was in dire need of dry ice. But where on Earth do you buy dry ice? A quick internet search led me to some pretty technical sounding places, all of whom quoted exorbitant prices and made it sound like I would need to build a chemistry set to purchase and transport it. Since Mr Wizard wasn't available to translate on such short notice, I knew I needed to talk to someone without a PhD in cryogenics. Enter Ingles (sorry, ingles) Market #307. I walked in. A kid who could not have been a day over 16 and walked me down the freezer aisle, pulled down a styrofoam cooler, reached into a deep freezer and grabbed a chunk of the stuff. He didn't say a word the entire time. My total? $5.75. My day? Saved.
