Cozy corner bakery on the outskirts of the Valparaíso/Viña del Mar area.
My companion found this on Google, and seeing as it was relatively nearby, we chose to visit.
Parking is free. You can order your food at the counter if it's to go or you can actually sit and order at the table. We chose the later.
Our waiter was polite, bringing us two copies of the menu. We perused it, although we had a few ideas as to what we wanted. See, this bakery displays food everywhere, so you often pick with your eyes rather than with menu.
He had a Coke, I had a mocaccino (their idea of a cappuccino with chocolate). He ordered a Nutella crepe, I ordered avocado toast. We both then had pain au chocolat.
Portions were generous, although the avocado toast was deceiving. When I first saw it, I didn't think that it would fill me. That couldn't be farther from the truth. He had to help me with finishing off the pain au chocolat.
Everything was fresh and tasty, especially the avocado. Really wish I had had another opportunity to return during my trip, but oh well - it is what it is. Recommend this bakery fullheartedly. read more
