I made my appointment via online and it was a simple process. They had a variety of massages available, but I needed one who could take out all (or most of) the body knots. After an 8 hour flight, I was in dire need of a massage. I selected the Traditional Thai Massage. I knew the intensity to this massage and I was mentally prepared for it. You'll need to complete a questionnaire before your visit. It provided lots of thoughtful background information about your body, what to expect, surgeries, even if you see a chiropractor. It's a quick and simple questionnaire. As I arrived, lots of parking is available in front of the building and in the middle of the lot. Nam Massage isn't difficult to find! I was kindly greeted by the staff and was guided to the room. We walked down the hallway and I noticed the beautiful art. I was told that it came from Thailand. It's a very nice touch. Lina was my therapist. She was absolutely amazing! Don't let the size of these women fool you. They are quite strong and talented in what they do. Lina got most or all of my tightness and stretched my body in all different directions. It reminded me that I need to stretch more often. They don't have much of an online presence so it was a surprising find. A friend referred me to Kendal Florence, and I had an excellent experience. I put off getting my hair cut for 6 months after moving to Texas because I was so nervous about finding a new stylist to deal with my thick, coarse, curly & very unruly hair. I've had a number of bad experiences over the years & a good stylist is worth their weight in gold. Kendal is very friendly, professional, & immediately put her hands in my hair & was very positive about the fact that she was excited to cut it. I've been on the receiving end of stylists who looked nervous or horrified once they see how much hair I have, but I didn't feel that AT ALL from her. I have very curly hair and it's impossible to explain what cut I want unless once my hair is wet. I appreciated that Kendal took the time to sit me down in the chair and discuss what I wanted BEFORE shampooing my hair. She was very gentle with my wet hair & untangled it carefully-no ripping, yanking, etc. I really appreciated that especially since I am so gentle with it myself as I don't want to damage it. She worked quickly but did a thorough job. While she was working she seemed so completely in her element, not nervous & fidgety. I usually feel terrified with each chunk of hair that falls but not this time. I got a keratin treatment and a major haircut. My hair went from primarily one length, ultra long (3 inches past my bra strap) to a medium-length angled bob with the front being dramatically longer than the back. It looks EXACTLY like the pictures I showed her and I felt she really listened to what I wanted and executed it perfectly! I feel the cut is so flattering & fabulous. Also, this might seem like a given to people with "normal" hair but she did a great blow-out! I have been left damp many times over the years. I really appreciated the time she spent and her attention to detail. I am so happy to have found her! Another great thing is that you can actually book appointments via text. :)

While relaxation and pampering are nice, I prefer to do therapy that addresses my pain and provide relief. When given the option this evening, I chose the constructive painful path and have NEVER been more grateful for the work and time Nicole put in! After over 200 massages at least, this is the best one I've ever had and she provided coaching on daily stretches customized to my challenges. Had no idea I had 3 ribs out of alignment, 3 vertebrae also and collarbone out on both sides and she fixed all of it!She's also a post-operative specialist and shared insight and guidance no other Dr or massage/pt therapist ever has. I have 3 titanium discs in my cervical spine from a ski crash that I waited to treat until two years ago and she told me things about my injury just by feel. She is worth traveling here to see and learned some people do. I am so grateful knowing that I found her here on Yelp and what an amazing result! She also refused my tip and went a bit over to be sure to coach me on stretching exercises and address issues SHE would not leave unresolved!
