What an amazing experience!…read more I was recommended by my esthetican who conveniently works across the way from Nam Massage & Day Spa. I made my appointment via online and it was a simple process. They had a variety of massages available, but I needed one who could take out all (or most of) the body knots. After an 8 hour flight, I was in dire need of a massage. I selected the Traditional Thai Massage. I knew the intensity to this massage and I was mentally prepared for it. You'll need to complete a questionnaire before your visit. It provided lots of thoughtful background information about your body, what to expect, surgeries, even if you see a chiropractor. It's a quick and simple questionnaire. As I arrived, lots of parking is available in front of the building and in the middle of the lot. Nam Massage isn't difficult to find! I was kindly greeted by the staff and was guided to the room. We walked down the hallway and I noticed the beautiful art. I was told that it came from Thailand. It's a very nice touch. Lina was my therapist. She was absolutely amazing! Don't let the size of these women fool you. They are quite strong and talented in what they do. Lina got most or all of my tightness and stretched my body in all different directions. It reminded me that I need to stretch more often. Overall, Nam Massage is my go-to spot for massages and I'll be here again soon. Thank you Lina for your everything. I feel great and my body is ready to go to work tomorrow.

I choose the 100 minute combination, a 40 min foot massage with foot bath and 60 minutes of body acupressure. It was a little different from massages I have had before, but this was fabulous. With very few words, the masseuse gently turned and pulled my body back to a better place. It was nice not to talk and have someone take great care of me. This was the longest massage I've ever had. In fact, one person did the foot bath and then another person took over for the acupressure. It was too much for one person to do. The prices are very reasonable and so I was able to tip happily. They deserved to be thanked for their hard work. This is a place I want to go to often and support their good work. There is none of the sign up requirements that are at most of the other massage places. You just show up and they give you treatment that you willingly come back for.

We had tried a salt cave before at another location, but they closed quite some time back and this is the first I had heard of another place offering one locally. We had a little trouble scheduling online, so we decided to see if we could just walk in and see if there was availability. We could, and there was! Andrea, the owner, gave us a tour of the place and explained how each item/service benefitted the mind and/or body. The setup and colors are very relaxing and inviting, and boy, did it smell good in there! Their salt cave, called the "Zen Den" has 4 extremely soft and cushiony chairs available, and we were each given a heated neck wrap. Andrea started the salt, which I could taste on my lips once it got going. I concentrated on breathing and tried not to think about anything besides this time to relax. My eyes were heavy, and I occasionally opened them for a moment to see the pretty twinkling lights in the ceiling before closing them again. There was soothing music playing as well, and Andrea had told us that it was a certain frequency to enhance relaxation. The 45 minutes went by too fast, and Andrea came in and offered us citrus infused water, then told us to take our time coming out. I seriously don't remember the last time I was so relaxed! The hydro massage had interested me, so we figured I might as well try it while we were there. It was amazing! Absolutely wonderful! It is sort of like a massage chair at a spa, multiplied by about a million. The water can massage you head to toe, or you can set it to concentrate on a particular part of your body. I'm having some pretty intense lower back pain and haven't found anything that helps, so I targeted my lower back and turned up the intensity. The speed was also adjustable. My back pain hasn't been quite so intense today, so I am cautiously optimistic that I have found something that will provide at least some relief! I scheduled a reiki session for next week, along with another visit to the zen den. I will also be trying their "recovery" circuit, which includes a session in the "salt booth", time in the hydro massage bed and 45 minutes in the infrared sauna. I haven't scheduled that one yet, but am excited to try it all! There are varying levels of membership, but you can schedule sessions without having a membership. There wasn't a "hard sell" to purchase a membership, which I greatly appreciated! Please support this local business! They are closed Tuesday and Wednesday but have hours into the evening on other days, which I find convenient!

I was paying with cash and only had a $50 and $20s so since she wanted it paid before hand I gave her $90. I always leave tip in the room afterwards so I did not give anymore money at this time. The massage was awkward. I say that because I honestly felt like I was being seduced for the majority of my massage. The way I was being touched had me feeling uncomfortable.....very inappropriate. 30 minutes into the massage she asked me if I was getting an hour massage because I only gave her $90 and I reminded her yes it is an hour massage.... I heard her mumbling to herself and mentioning $10 which I assume was what she was thinking was her tip. I did not mention tip because the massage was not over yet and I base my tip off of service which was not completed. She massaged for maybe 10 more minutes and said finished then just stood there staring at me like I was just supposed to get up butt naked and get dressed in front of her. But i remained on the table awkwardly saying okay repeatedly until she left the room. After I finished getting dressed she walked in and stood there silently for a minute then said "so no tip". I was taken a back and said "excuse me". She said you only gave me $90 so that's only $10 tip. I was so uncomfortable I gave her a $20 and walked out. I just paid $110 for a 40 minute massage where I left questioning if I was SA'd during my massage....
