If you are craving American fare then this is the place for you! Situated off of the busy Carretera Chapala-Jocotopec in San Antonio Tlayacapan, this is a "comfort food" restaurant with mostly older expats. Upon arrival, my partner's family and I walked in and sat at the garden under an umbrella. One menu has the regular sandwiches and another features rotating daily specials where one might find at any diner in the States. The servers all are multi-lingual and know the menus down to every ingredient. We settled for vegetarian sandwich with grilled mushrooms, zucchini, bell peppers, garlic, onion & Swiss cheese, Italian sandwich (Grilled Chicken breast with homemade pesto & provolone) and Meatloaf with mashed potatoes, gravy & green salad. The food was delicious and tasty, the service excellent, and all at a great price. The owner, Lupita has been in business for 23 years made her rounds to speak to every table and very attentive to all the customer's needs. We can recommend this place. read more
