If you want a break from the big chain sandwich shops, Panino is a great option. I went with the Don Carleone and it was great. It's more of a traditional cold cut sandwich but the bread was warm and it practically melts in your mouth. The bread is amazing. Fresh with a softer center and crunchy crust. It was perfect. It's locally owned and you'll find them working at the shop. They are very personable and have pride in their store. Great find and I'll definitely be back. read more

WOW! Went here for lunch and literally everything was sooo delicious! I got the spicy italian sandwich; the fillings tasted soo fresh and the portion was generous! The bread was hearty and thick which held up very nicely with all of the condiments and toppings. Don't even get me started on the desserts!! You must try their tiramisu and their pistachio cake! First I would like to apologize for not posting any photos about our food since we were so hungry it disappeared really quick. We love supporting local businesses like this and we really struck gold. We came in for a couple sandwiches and my wife already knew she wanted a tuna melt. I asked the owners for a few recommendations and he said the try the steak chimichuri which I did. And they both hit the spot. The best thing my wife and I agreed on was their bread!! So freaking good! Maybe one of the best sandwiches if not best I have had in Vegas. We also had potato salad and the potato soup which were BOMB Also they are the nicest people ever offering me to try their gelato and because I paid in cash we get free chips! Originally was looking for guancale, which is surprisingly hard to find here, and this place appeared in my search. Easy location right of the freeway for a quick stop. I didn't realize they also sold prepared food, so had to give it a try. Opted for the muffuletta sandwich and ate it before I remembered to take a picture. My family makes it with a thick Italian bread, but theirs is served with a good focaccia bread. It was also a very large sandwich, definitely enough to fill up for lunch. P2 ordered the spicy Italian. Also huge portion and delicious. Served on a good Italian roll with a light toast to it. I highly recommend this place if you're missing east coast style Italian eats. But Panino has now proven to me dreams do come true in the desert. Two words: FRENCH DIP! So this was a first for me. The bread,cheese, prime rib was so good, that it didn't needed to be dipped in the au jus. That speaks volumes alone. Hands down best French dip in Vegas! On top of that,the chimchurri steak was also one of the best in Vegas. Here's a little back story. The owner started one of the most well known sandwich chains in northern California and is from the Milpitas/San Jose area. He definitely knows what he's doing...
