I have ordered from this location a few times, twice to eat in and once to go. The two times I have eaten in we got a large cheese pizza and a chicken parm sub. We were very pleased with the food overall. On the one takeout it was close to closing time and the lady who took the order on the phone didn't seem thrilled I called. Ordered two large cheese pizzas. They came to around $22.00. We didn't inspect the pizzas in the shop but when we got them to their destination, less than 10 minutes away they were VERY BURNT. It is unfortunate because I wanted to share what I felt was good.pizza with 5 people who had never had it before but live close enough that they could get from here regularly if they choose. Also, they have two dedicated spots in their lot so street parking is typically a must. They have a nice tv, typically with a sporting event playing. Bathroom is clean and the variety of food choices is good. Not sure if they offer gluten free crust yet. read more

I have to say, This is the best sandwich place around town.. yes their place smells like burnt bread all the time, and yes maybe they burnt my sandwich to a crisp and i had to bring it back, but they took care of it, offered another one and a free one after that. (that's good service) and then the other day I met the lady that made the pasta and told her it was the best pasta salad i ever had, so she gave me an extra one. I order delivery the other day, and they brought me my food, plus the guy gave me an extra vegetable pizza, which i would've never bought, but it was soooooo good... and I'm a meat eater! lol I usually get the tuscan panini, the cordon blue panini. John H. hit the nail on the head with his review of Panini Pizza. It's more than good enough to satisfy all the bitter New Yorkers who don't have the good sense God gave a tree frog! The crust, chewy, flaky and crisp all at once, it's a woody-tasting, complex and fresh-bready substantial base for the clearly homemade tomato sauce, which is well-seasoned. The toppings are very fresh, too - we had a meatza with with 4 different kinds, and it's a testament to the outstanding flavor profile of the sauce and crust that I could taste it clearly through all the toppings! This is the best Pizza I have had in Danvers, if not all of the north shore. The pizza is excellent. I was very disappointed with the calzone though, it was very dry and very sub-par. If you are looking for amazing pizza, this is the place to go, if you are looking for a Calzone, look elsewhere. read more

The picante, hot peppers and sausage, so simple but sooooooo delicious. Fresh ingredients and the dough is what makes all the difference! Around $20 for a large but it was more than enough to feed 3 people. Worth it, must try!! They also deliver to certain parts of Peabody. Delivery was fairly fast. read more

So this place recently did a renovation of all bad reviews because there is no way this place should have this high amount of positive reviews. This place has some of the worst pizza and food I have ever eaten. Stop what your doing and don't order here. Place made me sick after eating the food. Clearly unsanitary and they are just masking how bad the food and service by paying for bad reviews to be taken down. How about you pay for better employees rather than make cosmetic renovations? This place is off the hook as far as pizza places go. I've looked at some of the previous posts and some of the complaints are totally ridiculous. Ran by kids??? No I don't think so, and I think it's a great idea that they employ kids and teach them a sense of work ethic and responsibility. Wait times?? Yes, even you have to wait for your orders some time just like the rest of us, there's a reason why they are so busy......the pizza is addicting. Fresh made dough every day, sometimes twice a day... Fresh toppings, and the best mozzarella money can buy....never mind homemade pita bread. So really this place should be everyone's go to place for pizza, and if you happen to have to wait a little longer for your pizza......take a deep cleasing breath and have a seat at the bar and have a cold beer or perhaps a nice moscato. there really isn't a better place on the northshore for pizza. read more

Just left this place with utter shock that they are called panini's and I got the worst panini to date. Simply bread, unseasoned chicken, peppers, steamed onion (which was supposed to be Carmelized) and pepper. This pizza shop is run by kids pretty much most of the time. The wait times are usually double what they tell you and they tend to forget things requested. The pizza is kinda bland and forgettable. I had gotten a bacon pizza with extra sauce and it was a salty undercooked mess. The kids are usually eating on the job and I don't see them use gloves all the time when they prep stuff. After reading all the other reviews for this place, I went to Panini Pizzeria expecting great things. Unfortunately the two pizzas we received were greasy and totally unimpressive. The crust was soggy and too thin, the toppings sparse. The cheese blend was reasonably tasty. Also not helping our experience was the vapid dead-eyed (hopefully new) person at the register, who glowered at us as he had his hand held through the process of ringing us up. The brick oven was lovely, and the seating area was nice. The lack of parking was annoying (only one off-street spot) but dealable. But all in all, I will not be hurrying back to Panini Pizzeria. I called Panini pizzeria to order a pizza delivered to my house I was not greeted with a friendly voice but lots of attitude and sass, Not what I was expecting. For a paying customer I was treated very poorly and I will not be returning to this establishment because if I'm giving a business money I expect to be treated with at least respect. I have never received adequate service from this restaurant since it opened. If the food weren't so delicious I would never return - just moments ago I almost cancelled an order for delivery because the employee on the phone was so rude. I asked for a time estimate until arrival and she rudely advised me that if I opened my eyes I'd see it was snowing outside and she refused to give me a guess. The only reason I didn't cancel on the spot was because they're the only place in Danvers with good pizza and I didn't feel like Chinese food. This is about the new Wenham store. I've been there four times now. The first time the pizza was quite good and prepared on time. The second time they forgot completely about my called in order. After waiting for another half hour at the store I left with my pies which were again quite good. Then I called in an identical order. This time one pie was so liquid that it was inedible as pizza. If I wanted a bowl of cheese and tomato that's what I would order. Tonight was the fourth time. Similar order and they remembered me from the last time. They went out of their way to make sure everything was ok with the pies and it was. The ingredients are fresh and the crust is thin. I'm happy. read more

Best pizza in danvers. I've had their regular pies, ones with toppings and all are great. Favorite is Roma pizza (crushed tomatoes, basil etc). When I'm feeling healthier, they have "bowls" that are good....chicken and veggies (no carbs). Takeout or delivery. Highly recommend. read more

We got a slice each last night during Danvers oldies night. Was different than in the past as it was a chewier crust but we liked it. More importantly they were the only pizza place that actively offered a special for the event -- $1/slice. We'll probably try them again. Long time customer disappointed in service / worse management response. Opened the box to a sloppily cut pizza with some slices tiny and others a quarter of the pie. Pepperoni was barely on half the pizza. When I contacted the manager and offered to send a pic I was told "The pizzas are hand cut and slices can vary, and toppings can slide to the middle." I asked the manager to judge for herself with a picture, but nothing further was offered. I said if this was all she had to say I would not be back. Panini Pizzeria is my new favorite sub/pizza shop in Danvers. The Roma Tomato white pizza is so yummy. Flavorful and seemingly made with fresh ingredients. I've also had the honey mustard chicken sandwich... also fantastic. I only wish that I had thought to get it on honey whole wheat. Their traditional sub rolls are very good, but white bread is not a personal favorite. Staff was super friendly too. I'll definitely return for many more take-out nights! read more
