In my 40 years as a homeowner, and almost 15 years in the construction business, they are, by far, the worst contractor that I have ever dealt with. Signed a contract to install gutters in Sept 2021. They didn't meet the agreed-to install timeframe. When they finally showed up the installation dragged on. Then months trying to get them to fix the multiple problems with the install (they never did fix them all). Luckily when hail destroyed our roof it also totaled the gutters so we now have a good installation. Maybe they've gotten better over the last 3 years but I doubt it. Look elsewhere!

We had gone to other contractors but they didn't seem too interested and wanted to do some standard work. Juan listened and took some measurements. He asked how we wanted things to look. He asked about our old fence and mentioned he could build one. I asked about a sliding gate across the driveway. It would be 24ft long. Then we asked about a carport. We had just purchased a hi-top conversion van and wanted it protected. He took all of our ideas and his measurement and quoted a 3 phase project. The fence was done first and is 8ft tall with a 4ft gate and an 8ft X 24ft sliding gate. It is so smooth and easy to open or close. Next was the carport. fits two vehicles, one that is the conversion van, perfectly. The patio cover finished out the projects and looks great. We had him add a gutter to catch any rain and keep us dry. They are professional and did outstanding work. It made such a huge difference in our backyard that I feel we'll be spending many hours enjoying it all. Thank you Backyard Shades for transforming our backyard into a place we'll enjoy for years. I plan to post some aerial video and photos once the weather is cooler and less breezy so I can fly my drone.

I was driving in my community of River Falls on a residential street near PaloDuro canyon. This employee was driving in the middle of this narrow road way approaching a hill, which anyone with common sense hinders visibility for both drivers but theirs chose the middle of the road. I was going 30 miles and hour but I went to the right shoulder to avoid this big truck on the roadway I drive on a daily basis, my front passenger tire popped on the inside. I contacted this company which informed me the road measurements as well as the 3 seconds ahead of reaching my vehicle was adequate time for me to avoid his vehicle. I asked to simply replace my tire, that was denied. As a business owner who carries a reputation I'm not sure how replacing a tire caused by an employee's negligence is a big deal. I've heard enough about how they run the pool side of the business along side this terrifying incident to know these are not the small business to support in any way. This won't be over on my end anytime soon.
