When I spotted a sign with a paw print in the distance, I made a beeline for it. (Side note: I'm a proud owner of a Belgian Malinois, Boston Terrier/Shih-Tzu, and Calico so I get a little crazy over independently owned pet stores because I love shopping locally when I can.) We didn't get the owner's name, but he was incredibly helpful and talked to us about his own experience with dogs with ACL problems (like our Belgian Malinois) and his future plans with Hugga Mugga's. They've been open for about a month and a half. He even gave us a free sample of joint treats for our pup! After browsing around for a bit we ended up buying a dog toy and a birthday cookie. Hugga Mugga's sells top quality products that you won't find at your local PetSmart or Petco. I'm excited to see the growth of this store and anticipate great things. Definitely a place to stop in if you're a pet owner and happen to be in Thomasville!

What service! Anna Lee, assumedly the owner, was unbelievable from taking pictures and sending them to him in California, to measuring each and every sweater in detail to make sure it fit. She visited with him "mother" and made sure this is what he wants. She even wrapped and packaged it for mailing. Bravo, or maybe arf, arf!

She doesn't just stop providing services once you leave the shop. If you need her for ANYTHING even after years, she will be there without a thought. She has even watched our pups while we went on family vacations. She wanted them to be somewhere she KNEW they would be safe while I was away rather than in a kennel. Their store is so neat! I honestly don't know how they keep it so tidy, but it's spotless every time we show up. I love the brands she carries because they are quality specific brands you can't buy anywhere else. Plus, the fact that she brings her pups in each morning to greet her patrons is always the icing on the cake. They are so sweet! If you are considering a pet, come here. Other pet shops don't compare and the pet you get is likely to be ill cared for. You won't find that here. What you will find is a pet family for life!!! ***Just wanted to mention that it is so unfair when people leave negative reviews for malicious, self serving purposes. Unfortunately, this happens more than it should. Always go see for yourself.

Caitlin claimed it was a tick bite and that she didn't trim Rosie's neck or legs, but that was not true. There were obvious trimmed areas, and the wounds did not look like tick bites at all. Her attitude was also extremely unprofessional. She showed no apology, no concern, and has always acted uninterested and unfriendly whenever I brought my dogs in, even though she was friendly to other customers.
