PROS - cabins don't have water, kitchen or a bathroom, but they they're clean and bed is comfy. And there's electricity. - modern AC - porch swing with excellent view - showers and restrooms are clean; blue toilet water - fair prices for incidentals at the local store; they have block and crushed ice - nice woman tending the store CONS - prickly burrs, especially on green areas, make it a pain for dogs. - about 20 minutes from the Bryce Visitors Center is a bit too far. - need a potable water station, only one I could find was the sink in the store - no outlets by the beds - one of the windows was missing a screen so it was unusable; LOTS of flies nearby, so many F'ing flies! - very noisy when vehicles drive on the gravel - you sit around and waste time if you arrive between 11-1 as they're closed.

Our firepit had leftover charcoal along with a small grill left from previous campers. Laundry rooms had 1 washer each, even though there is hookups for at least 2 more. Mold on shower ceiling. Pool only open until 5 (not great after a long day of hiking). No emergency contact information or equipment around pool. This is after a 48 point, 9 page agreement we had to sign prior to check-in. Not to mention the limit on campsite electricity use. Stay somewhere else (there's a beautiful new RV park just up the road) until some care and maintenance is completed. We got the sense a young family is running it, but close off several sites per week and take care of things.

We loved the convenience of having a little town just 5 minutes away for anything we needed. We stayed in Loop A since Loops B and C are under renovation. The only downside was the traffic noise at night/day which can get a bit loud, but overall it was a very nice campground.

First off, if you're on the fence about going, DO IT! This is a beautiful summer campground, we went June 8-10, 2018 and the weather was perfect. It did get a little cold at night, but nothing that our sleeping bags couldn't handle. The campgrounds here aren't too close together which I really appreciated, but some campsites are more shaded than others. I stayed in B loop, site #48 and it was conveniently located close to the restrooms (which are kept very clean) and the campground host, who sell firewood. People here were very respectful of the quiet hours which start at 10. Keep in mind that there are no showers at this campsite. Also, the picnic table and fire ring are on concrete which I loved SO much and it even comes with a stand for your portable stove and a place to hang your lantern. The campsite also has tent pads that they have leveled out which made sleeping very comfortable. However, the one thing I do regret is not bringing a hammock!! There are lots of trees here. This place is also walking distance to a small lake where you can go fishing and a short 4 mike drive to Duck Creek Village, which has a convenience store, small restaurants, and souvenir shops.

Sadly I have to rate this business with at least one star, when NO STAR would be more appropriate!…read more I was a lone woman on a road trip, and on August 6, 2023, I grew extremely tired and knew, for all those safety reasons we hear and read about, that I needed to find a safe, public place to pull over and close my eyes. I exited the freeway hoping to find some shade (temps were in the upper 90s), in a public place, where I could safely park for a brief time and I happily saw the sign for the Beaver Camperland, in Beaver, Utah. I spoke with the proprietor at the office, explained my situation and how I just needed some shade where I could close my eyes for 30 minutes. To which he said, "OK, that'll be $10." I realize this is a business, out there to provide a service for campers, and it wasn't a LOT of $$, but whatever happened to being a kind human assisting another human who is alone and tired and only needed some shuteye in the shade of a tree on the lot? It wouldn't have caused any hardship on him or the business?!? Just WOW! Needless to say, I was shocked and disgusted and I left, found a speck of shade behind a quickie mart -probably not a very safe place, but rested for a short time, then went on my way. NOT NICE!

Most of the people here appear to live here full time. Wouldn't recommend if not self contained, since they lock the bathrooms up, allegedly from 8 PM-6 AM. The majority of guests here were in RVs and campers. The campground is right off the highway so it could get noisy if your spot is by the road. We stayed the furthest away from the road so it didn't bother us very much at all. We opted to stay in a rustic cabin ($50/night + tax) which included a small mini fridge, microwave, and 2 beds - a queen and twin bed. This spot was perfect. We didn't have anyone staying next to us on either side and it gave a nice sense of privacy. The Red Canyon RV Park has a small dog park in the back corner by the main road. The bathrooms are dated and can use updates but are decently clean. 2 shower stalls and 2 toilet stalls on the property, gender-separated. WiFi is available (although it's pretty weak) and Verizon and AT&T worked well here. There is a general store, gas station, and restaurant/ice cream shop right next door. Laundry services are also available (coin-operated). Overall, it was a pleasant stay with minimal interruptions. Seemed like everyone here kept to themselves and it was great~

If you have a light weight trailer around say a 16 footer, van, or simply tent camping you have little to worry about. Anything bigger, you must prepare to maneuver backing up in very tight space. The sites itself aren't too bad. It's the loop road and trees that can be challenging. I did see one pull through spot and there's possibly more but not much. Another thing to keep in mind are the fleas. If you have dogs, bring repellent. Notice posted warned fleas may carry diseases and may harm other animals or even cause death. Our site (A219) was surrounded by trees. Our solar panel was able to charge, but not sufficiently. It includes a firepit and a bench table. I don't recommend anything larger than a 22 foot trailer. We barely had any room to park my truck because parking on gravel is forbidden. Restrooms are heated during the cold hours. When I say cold, it's freezing cold. We stayed here on the first week of October of 2020. The sun started to heat our trailer by 2 to 3 PM. Overall, I enjoyed our stay. We very close to the Peek-a-boo and Navajo Trail. That was a plus. Our camp host was mellow and most of our neighbors were polite and respectful. However, I've seen a few who were the opposite. It's camping so I didn't let it ruin my experience. Also a warning. Dump station is not in this campground but potable water available at the restrooms. You can't directly connect a hose to your trailer because it is just too far from the road. Dump station is located near Sunrise Point where potable water is available. Ask the host or ranger if you have troubles finding it.
