Great campground, perfect amount of space, well attended and well maintained! This was one of many stops along a 14-day cross country and we could not be happier that we wound up here! This was actually our 1st time in a KOA and so happy we chose this one and this town! The town is a 1 traffic light town, small and down-home, the campground is just a few blocks from the downtown center and the entire campground was ready for tents, trailers, diesel pushers and even cabins that they rent. Pool and dog park were our 2 main choices for the stop, an awesome lake about 10 minutes outside of town for fishing, a great small town restaurant "Cowboy's Smokehouse" a couple of minutes away, antique shopping for those into that, just an overall perfect location in the heart of Americana! Sites are interesting in that they are "buddy sites" they door to door your campsite side to the next trailer, we loved it because we met the people next door much quicker that way. Also met everyone around us who were having a major cornhole tournament while we were there, they were fun, very open and great neighbors. I honestly was a little worried about the noise but that squad shut it down at 9pm and were quiet as a mouse, not that we really cared but their game was pretty intense for a while! Walked around and met a lot of the other people in the camp, a few full-timers and a few nightly space renters like us, really great ownership in a clean and nicely run camp. read more

We had a very nice stay at this RV park. The bathrooms were extra clean and showers were roomy and had nice, hot water. We had a double lot, they are in the process of converting all spaces to doubles. Our lot included a nice patio, fire pit, and patio table. They also have tents and small cabins for rent. The campground is close to a main road so there is some road noise. Other campgrounds in this area appear to be more cramped for space, a few have lots right next to the road. This a great place to camp. read more

Small, tight RV campsites. Tiny store offering some basics. Trees could use more trimming. Useless WiFi - zero bars Verizon. Good indirect access to OHV trails, ok pool. You can not reason with dog owners so strict rules and dog walk area. The dark hair, dry personality lady at check in is just that, dry and poker faced. It's nothing about you. Some employees unfriendly and need to STFU. read more

We stayed overnight at the Panguitch KOA in July. The staff was very friendly during the checkin process and guiding us to our space. The roads are fairly narrow along with the RV spaces. We felt like we were right on top of our neighbors. Grounds were kept up pretty well all around the park. We did not use the bathrooms at this location - so no comments on them. We had to unhook our tow vehicle right away as the pull through was not long enough for our 32' RV & vehicle. We had to pull out the next morning and over to an area where we could hook it back up. The park is south of town and generally quiet. The park has RV sites, tent sites, and cabins - good variety for all stays. This is an older park, so keep that in mind when booking with larger RV's. read more

A wonderful place to stay. We are ending our third night here and have had a wonderful time. When checking in the employees were so friendly and welcoming and answered all our questions. Great customer service! The bathrooms have been clean , the pool is a wonderful feature. Free WiFi is a plus since we had to do some work away from the office. Smaller KOA good for an overnight stay. We were here with a group of 9 families for a week of off road trail riding. Decent trail access, close to town for refueling. We had a nice end spot with grass. Our rig (motorhome with trailer) is 65' and just barely fit - but it worked. The only real negative is that they are barely dog tolerant. There is a small dog area which is constantly muddy and has fleas. The employees are NOT dog friendly at all and don't hesitate to show their disdain for dogs/dog owners. (Sadly, I do understand because we cleaned up after several dogs not our own.) Employees are also not very child friendly - the kids did not want to go to the pool because of the man who yelled at them. If you are in a large group with children and dogs, this isn't the place for you. If you are looking for a super quiet, small RV Park, this is your spot. read more

Awesome little campground and not on the main drag either.. A little more rural than most KOA's but still close to civilization. Clean cabins, and the main thing is that they protected us from the rain since our tents got flooded the previous night close to Bryce Canyon..needless to say everyone was happy to stay here on this rainy night. There were small firepits next to each cabin for roasting marshmallows and a picnic table. The restrooms were clean and there was a coin operated laundry room available. We stayed there to go to Bryce Canyon NP from June 22-27,2013. The positives: -bathroom and facilities keep clean and had no issues. -quiet place even though its next to hwy -close to town The negatives: -Management at KOA Panguitch lied when we checked in; they mentioned our site having a grass area.....it was all gravel. We ask to be moved but they couldn't accommodate us due to other booking on sites I wanted, also I called 2 months ahead of time mentioning that our pop-up tent trailer did not have AC and would like to have a place with lots of trees around us. They promised me it was all set and we would be happy with placement, I asked for site number since I had a map of it but they mentioned not to worry we would take care of it. -Wireless keep going down at least twice a day....very frustrating. Overall the experience was okay, the weather was nice, Panguitch was quite a nice little town to walk around, great ice cream at "GEM". But the bottom line is when someone tells you over the phone and promises / guarantees a site. Especially KOA management that its not always true. I have camped at KOA Watsonville and the management and facilities are 5 stars and had no issues with KOA until now. In the future I would make sure I knew what sites I had instead of trusting them. I rated it a 3 because they could not make it right or even work with me to maybe move us to other sites that where available. I asked they said NO. read more

Nice clean campground with clean restrooms and laundry facility. The staff is very attentive to what is going on in the park and keeps everything running smooth. We had an incident with kids riding a 4 wheeler around the park which is not allowed and they were on it within 10 minutes. They also have a nice area for pets which is kept very clean. read more

Place was great. Owners are great. Came up one star short because of the long hike from the cabins to the restroom. When you wake up at 3 a.m. needing a whiz, the 2-3 minute walk to get relief is an eternity. Love the area and I plan to be back. There are so many things in Southern Utah that I couldn't get to in the two days I was there. read more

Best urban campground we have been to and we have been to a lot. Very friendly staff. Clean bathrooms. We were staying in a tent and each tent site here has 2 to 3 times as much room as you normally get in an urban campsite. Each site had a fire pit and table and there was a shared shelter where you could get out of the rain and charge electrical devices. They also had a sink for washing dishes which is really nice. The only reason they don't have a 5 is that this is an urban campground. I would rather stay in a National or State Park but so very happy these guys are around because it seems to be really tough to get reservations in the National/State parks. This KOA is in walking distance (15 minute walk) to a grocery store. It is only 25 minute drive to Bryce Canyon. read more

Rented a cabin for a 1 night stay. Cabins are clean and come with a heater for the cold nights (bring your own bedding, because it's not provided). Staff was friendly and helpful. Our cabin had a campfire ring, and they sell wood at the office. read more

Great experience and exactly what I would expect from a KOA. All of the comforts of home, even if you have to walk to take a shower and use the restroom. The cabins have one full bed and set of bunk beds (bring your own linens and pillows) and had plenty of room for my husband and I to put our bags and clothes. There were two areas to hang items, along with a desk, chair and second seating area in the middle of the cabin in between the beds. The cabin also has a ceiling fan, heater and multiple outlets for charging electronics. There is ample room on the porch to add some chairs (if you brought your own like we did) or you can relax in the porch swing and enjoy your $1.50 Keurig cup of coffee from the office! Each cabin had a picnic table and a fire pit right next to it (convenient for those must-have Smores at night after a day of fishing or riding). They also have free wifi, a dog run, volleyball court, horseshoe pit, pool and kids park. The restrooms -immaculate each time I visited- have 2 shower stalls and 3 sinks. The womens restroom had 4 toilet stalls. The owners are friendly and helpful, we'll be back! read more

Wonderfully maintained and operated KOA. The location is perfect. We hiked Zion on Saturday early..drove the beautiful & scenic roads 1.5 hours North to Panguitch and arrived at 9:30 p.m. The key was waiting for us in the night registration box. The cabin was perfect. Bathrooms were so clean and updated. It was quiet and peaceful. We hiked Bryce which is only a half hour away. The town is adorable and authentic..better than touristy spots. We had a delicious breakfast at the Flying M Diner..portions were out of control big!! Waitress said they would feed our leftovers to the pig..haha. Finding dinner on Sunday night was difficult..
