They had an incredible array of all things baked goods. They also had good coffee related options as well as what appeared to be a lot of local goods for sale. We had a number of delicious pastries including some very good donuts. Our kids were very excited about the donuts! Prices were very normal and the folks here were very friendly, and we're very effective at communicating with those of us who don't speak much Spanish. The seating area was more than ample and included a number of different options including tables and bar level seating. Worth a stop for a morning pastry or an anytime treat!

It is in a very busy area but to be honest It was fine inside. I am going again before leaving Barcelona!

Should've ordered a coffee too because the frosting was quite a bit sweeter and more coverage than I remembered. So much so that I had to scrape some of it off at the end because it was just too sweet. The texture of the dough inside was still lovely, with yeasty, doughy air pockets. The donut itself was also very large so maybe better to share with a few others than try to eat one or more by yourself :) Didn't have much interaction with the staff though the man making the donuts and working the counter seemed cordial. They offer ice cream and coffee drinks on the menu too. This is a take away spot mostly, there's a bench along one wall you could sit at to eat there though it seats probably 4-5 people at most. They take cash and card.

We tried one of their chocolate desserts, a chocolate chip cookie and a matcha drink. All of them were great.. so great that I ended up buying a pistachio brookie to go. To this day we regret not buying more stuff to bring back home. The service was great and quick. The place was clean and cute to dine in with a few tables! There were a few loaves of bread but mostly there were those sweets and it seems they have those all the time. We got a regular cinnamon roll because the flavored ones didn't have as much of the frosting on it which is the best part, and a pistachio cream rookie... no im not sure what a rookie is but it looked like a Levain cookie (the famous one from NY) as it was a mountain of a dessert. We had both treats heated up... although they weren't actually hot lol. The cinnamon roll was on par with others I've had, maybe even slightly drier but the frosting was amazing and I still enjoyed it a lot. The rookie was quite decadent and the inside was an almost cake texture? Still quite tasty but I think both would've knocked it out of the park if they were actually hot and ooey gooey. Five stars because it wasn't bad but I can't say I'm super impressed. I will be going to other gf bakeries over this one

I can appreciate the options but everything I had was simply fine and not remarkable if I'm being completely honest. I tried their Carrot Cake and Chocolate Muffins, each with its own creamy fillings, as well as a Chocolate Chip Cookie. The muffins were quite dry and the cookie crumbled too easily in addition to being super oily... my entire wax paper bag was drenched by the time I got home to indulge. I was really looking forward to trying their Chocolate Cronut but they didn't have any in stock when I visited. Overall, it was good to have the option to enjoy some vegan friendly treats, but it wasn't the home run that I was hoping they'd be.

It's tucked away on a side street and has a kitchen where their goodies are created. The one downside at Chöx is that the red velvet flavored cookies are not the true red velvet flavor, not even close. But this seems to be a pervasive problem across Spain and Portugal, so I suppose I can forgive them.

Located on Carrer del Torrent de l'Olla, essentially an ally with clotheslines hanging overhead and access limited to those traveling by foot or bike, it was just prior to 11h00 that a party of two entered the small space where an English-fluent couple was chatting and enjoying Coffee, the same server present as during the first visit immediately complimenting one guest's T-Shirt featuring a Pig and thus kicking off a lengthy five-person conversation about the movie Okja on Netflix. Small and homey in its design, a single glass case of Donuts on the counter in front of an Espresso Machine with a small plastic Pig and map of Greece the only real decorations aside from colorful seating for four, it was after weighing both the choices and remaining appetite that the decision was made to invest in three Doughnuts plus a Chocolate Frappe, the drink cool and creamy but unfortunately overwhelmed by unsweetned Whipped Cream which made the last several sips mostly undrinkable. Moving on to the Donuts, Rings and Holes of several traditional flavors in addition to a few novelties offered next to Bagels, it was with two filled choices and one topped in sweetened Tahini and crushed Pistachios that the order was comprised, the bases all identical with an egginess reminiscent of Brioche while the toppings and fillings were all quite good, the Sugar and Raspberry Jam far lighter and more natural than many found Stateside while the Dulce De Leche pocket featured thick Caramel beneath Vanilla Glaze and Cinnamon Streusel.
