We picked this Panera after playing Lock Haven vs another Panera of equal distance because of the Yelp stars in comparison. Usually we can sit in a Panera and wait for our food for up to an hour. BUT THIS LOCATION got us in and out within the half hour. All of the girls were very happy and so was I. They worked smarter not harder by breaking us up into payment groups so the kitchen staff wouldn't get one large ticket. Regardless, Zack in the food line did amazing and we had an overall awesome experience at this location. read more

Rating is based on the very nice gentleman who took my order. He greeted me with a smile and that's so hard to receive most days. Food was quick, normally not! But of course they didnt have any mugs. Kinda a big deal when I enjoy drinking a fresh late at the restaurant in a mug. Clean buss tubs and doing dishes would have helped. read more

Absolutely unprofessional and terrible service. Tried to get a catering sat on hold for over 45 min. At 10:15 am (not a usual busy time) never speaking to anyone so while on hold called on separate line asking for manager for her to try and redirect me back to catering after telling her what I needed she informs me well I should have called sooner ! I've been on hold for almost a hour at this point !!! And then she said if we can help you we do not have and letters for sandwich's or salad we are out of several other things and would be ready till at least 1:30! They are always out of items. Ordered a cup of coffee and a bagel. My bagel was fine but I cannot drink black coffee. After pouring your own coffee from the help-yourself counter, I then attempted to put some half and half in my coffee and found that that carafe was empty. The employee at the register responded that they were going to get some. I returned to that counter 2 more times and was told the same thing. On my fourth try to get some half and half, it finally was there. The fourth attempt, I was just going to ask for a refund of my coffee. Every morning you go there they never have the soufflés . The staff don't want to make them I've gone there very early and they claim "sold out" it's obviously not the case. I usually love Panera. However it's always a bummer when a restaurant is out of a specific item that goes on the food you ordered that makes the sandwich or soup etc. So I ordered: Roasted Turkey & Avocado BLT. ... emerald green, vine-ripened tomatoes, fresh avocado. They informed me that they didn't have the Avocado. I paused then said sure I'll take it without it. Thinking really? the Avocado is like the star of this sandwich. I had to literally go to the Wegmans 2 minutes away and get an Avocado to slice to put on my sandwich. This Panera is about 2 minutes off of Route 15/180 which makes it a quick stop if you are coming through Williamsport. It also is right next to Starbucks which even makes it a better stop! The place One downside is they dont have the new Kiosks so you can order your food without waiting in line when it is busy. One thing I really like about this and all Panera's I have been in is they are clean. Yes you might find a dirty table but the place including the bathrooms are clean which is a big plus for me. The food I ordered the pick two with the Frontega Chicken Panini with the BBQ Chicken Salad. Both tasted great and I always feel I am getting fresh food when I go which is a big plus for me. I also am one of those cheap people who gets a glass of water as to save money. Just a thought to all you budget conscious people out there :) Another plus if you get the meal you get a bakery item for 99 cents! Let me tell you how tempted I am to do it when you talk in and see all those pastries, scones ect. Talk about a great value! The verdict Panera is one of my top go to places when I am traveling and especially limited on time. You always know what you are going to get. Great service, had a Winona Rider look alike for the cashier! Ordered the grilled cheese sandwich which was soft and tasty, albeit a little fake in texture. I stop in here often enough when I am in the port area for work or shopping. I have gotten their salads and sandwiches which are very good. The atmosphere is bright and prices are fair. I also get loaves of bread to go before I leave. The sun dried Tomato Basil is one of my favorites as well as some of the baguettes that I bring home and grill with bruchetta. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. the ones here remind us each time that the loaves of bread do not include preservatives so they will go bad quicker if not used or frozen, which we normally do. I have never found a reason to complain about the food here. Salads are always fresh, soups all taste great, and sandwiches are delicious. I wouldn't pick any other place for a good salad, Williamsport makes that easy by not having any other place. This store is normally always clean and employees are friendly. The prices are high. It starts at a cup of soup which is about 5.00. I am not a big eater and usually end up spending around $12.00-$15.00 for a meal. Also it always seems as if they are out of something. They might as well take the chicken noodle soup off the menu, every time I have asked for it they are out of it. If you go during lunch hour the place is packed. I have never stood in a line for a long time though. The store is managed very well. I eat here a lot and I am glad to have a good Panera here in Williamsport. read more

I have been going to this Panera Bread with my coworker on our lunch break for a few weeks now. Each time, there is consistently a problem. I have sat here, pondering, why on earth these teenagers have a stick up their arse every time I come in. Then, today, I was met with the General Manager, who I found out was the stick. She was rude, offered no help when I was facing a problem with my rewards app, and groaned verbally when I did not provide her with a tip (I tip every other time I come here, however, rude people do NOT deserve my money). I proceeded to watch this "manager" (manager in quotes because she did not manage very well in the hour I spent my lunch break here) yell at her employees, neglect the tidiness of her dining room, and sass her fellow customers for an HOUR. I will not be going back and I will be telling my book club to order take out somewhere else this weekend. Panera, fire this woman and properly train your staff! PLEASE!! read more

We ordered online and when we got our order we were missing someone's lunch and when we called we asked if they could deliver it since we paid for it and they said no and then we asked if we could come get it and she said no as well which is absolutely ridiculous!!! What can I say about Panera bread. Every time I go and I never have an issue. I love the variety that they have on their menu of soups and sandwiches. They're fresh breads that you can buy by the loaf are delicious as well. I love the cinnamon swirl bread that they have. I use it to make French toast at home. I like the rewards program that they have to offer for customers. The more times you go in you rack up your points for free items on their menu. I've eaten here once, and while the experience was okay, for the price there's a lot of better places to go for dinner. However, I think that it's a great place to go for a quick lunch of a soup or a sandwich. My meal was good, but there was just a lot of bread, and once I was done I was kind of surprised at how much it ended up being in comparison to what I got. This is a fine place, and if you pick the right meal selection instead of mixing and matching like I did, I'm sure you might have a better result, but for me I'm not in a hurry to come back here. read more
