the food is always good and fresh but the service is never up to par with their food. one time when i was there i stood in front of the register for ten minutes while the cashier and some sort of manager were just gossiping about things. um hello, i'm standing right here! other than that, it is usually pretty clean here and plenty of space so you are never looking for somewhere to sit. based on observation, people usually come here with their book club or a business meeting so they are definitely doing something right there. read more

I visit many Panera Bread locations because it is helpful when I meet a potential client to be able to demonstrate what my Internet marketing services can do for them live. This visit was unlike any other I have ever experienced. As I approached the counter thinking I would place my order the young lady at the register looked at me and then walked away to slice up some bagels and perhaps make a sandwich. In the mean time I was left standing at the counter. It took her 2 to 3 minutes to come back for my order. All this while my potential client was sitting waiting for me to start our meeting. However it gets better...actually worse. When I went to put milk and sugar in my tea I discovered there was no sugar and nothing to stir my tea with either. So I went to the counter and mentioned the issue to another young lady. She gave me a sugar and a stick to stir the tea and off I went to meet with my potential client. Now about 40 minutes later we both decided to get a refill of our beverages and I kid you not the supplies were still not refilled. We both decided we should wrap up and leave. As I said this was very unusual but quite frustrating at the time. read more

Who ever runs this location should really learn how to make a good flatbread sandwich. I had the chicken flatbread and it was awful. Then to add insult to my visit they charged me $5.59 for a tiny flatbread that was part of a 2 for deal.The salad I got was extra. $5.59 for a terrible,tiny flatbread with hardly anything in it. I stopped going to Panera awhile ago because the one in Seekonk MA did away with small coffee's (I don't always want a medium or a large--hello) and their scones got smaller and are way over priced. I love the food at Panera but this location is terrible. I drive by on my way home and stopped there and placed an order. I arrived home 12 minutes after the order was placed and my sandwich was so soggy that the bottom piece of bread was soaking wet. I called the manager and she said she never sells pre made sandwiches. Since the bread and wrapper were extremely cold I know this was made much earlier and refrigerated. This has happened at this location in the past for take out. I am extremely disappointed that I gave them another chance I also sensed a lack of experience and interest of employees while I was waiting Please note I gave 1 star because it was the lowest option. Panera is typically my go to when I want a quick to go meal. They have good sandwiches and tasty soups. Their menu gives a broad spectrum. Service is good but not excellent. Not a fan of their coffee but the food is good. Reasonably priced with lots of selection. My only problem is that it tends to be dirty and messy looking. I recently went to the Warwick Panera Bread. I ordered the Vegetarian Soup and 1/2 Mediterranean Panini sandwich sans Feta. The service was fast and friendly and management checked twice at our table to make sure all was good. The place was clean as well. NEW HIDDEN CHARGE I go to Panera at least 3 times a week, sometimes 4. I LOVE Panera and what they stand for. I go so often and order the exact same thing. A full BBQ Chicken flatbread, chips, a regular drink, and cookie. The cost is always the exact same, except yesterday (6/25/18). I was charged and extra dollar for a second flatbread. I was charged the $9.29 which is the menu price but then +1.00 on the next line. The manager refunded me the dollar and explained it was a system glitch,that was that. Today, (6/26/18) the extra dollar was added on again. I explained it to a different manager, and told him the other female manager had told me it was a system glitch, he gave me the dollar back and then came up to me a minute later and explained that I could no longer get the dollar taken off from then on. He explained its something about adding more chicken or for making the second flatbread or what not. The only problem is that there is NO sign on the menu, or on the cash register that says there will be a new hidden charge for this sandwich. I expect when the menu displays a sandwich at X price, I pay X price +tax. This hidden fee is not what I expect from Panera and I will dispute this 1.00 charge every time until they put even a piece of paper saying that there will bean extra charge. This is EXTREMELY bad business practice. read more

Panera Bread was really off their game last night. They took my order, took my money and then out of the soup I wanted. Would I like something else??? Hmm...not really, I wanted the specific soup I ordered. Settled for a sandwich, and they were out of the bread needed to make it. Would I like other bread for the sandwich?? What choice did I have? Then second sandwich I ordered, guess what - out of that bread also! Then as complete icing on the cake, I ordered first, but last to get my order completed. Mind you, the poor guy behind me had the same issues - out of the soup, out of the bread...but his order completed before mine. Your team unfortunately was focused on getting the store closed vs. my experience. This was clearly evident by the good time they where having behind the line laughing, goofing off, telling each other how much they where loved, while loudly giggling. Imagine what you could do if they turned that type of good vibe toward the client? You know the reason why you are in business. Cashier was rude and unwelcoming. Wanted to order a soup at 10:28, even though lunch doesn't start until 10:30 (of which I was rudely informed.) Thought I could place the order and then wait for it...two minutes go by pretty quickly. When informed by the manager that the soups were already ready to go she gave me a dirty look and proceeded to take my order. I was dining in, and look forward to my mug for coffee but was abruptly handed a to-go cup. I asked for a mug and of course I got attitude. I decided to keep the to go cup. When making my coffee there was no more Splenda and they were out of half & half. Did I mention it was completely dead in here? After all of that, I finally sit down and wait for my food and I can see it waiting for a runner. I wait 5 minutes before I decide that I'd rather not have cold food and grab it myself. Panera really missed the mark today. Probably won't visit this location again, they need to learn a few lessons from the Garden City Panera. read more

I love the food here. There are not many other healthier alternatives around besides maybe Chipotle, so it's nice to have the option. The order takers are always friendly and helpful, and the food is always consistent and quick. The one criticism I have is that the food runners can be a little hasty and not always friendly. I came here about a week ago and an older man cleaning the dining room helped me get and put away a high chair for my son. I only wish he had a nametag on so I could give him better recognition. I had gone to Panera for the first time the other day. The lady at the counter was the sweetest young girl I have ever met. She was so kind and understanding that I was not sure of what to order. Jaden suggested the Steak and cheese with a bread bowl wich was out of this world awsome. Later as i was sitting enjoying my lunch, Jaden was cleaning a table and approched me to se if I was enjoying myself and If her suggestion was worthit, I kinly replied that it was. My experiance was a great one wich will bring me back for more. Kudos to Paner for having such a wonderful friendly and careing employee such as Jaden. I loved the customer service at this Panera location. I witnessed a dude come in and freak out at the manager because the workers were taking too long to slice his bread. She handled the situation so calmly, and explained that her workers were too young to use the bread slicer. It was amazing she kept her cool instead of getting into a fight with him. All the workers were SO nice and polite. This is a great place to eat and work. It is very spacious and has great food! read more

Terrible experience here today which is upsetting for Panera. I received absolutely awful customer service from the blonde, short-haired woman whom I believe was the manager. I arrived to pick up my rapid online order and sat on the benches in front of the lists showing "Preparing" and "Ready" orders. My order hadn't quite been finished so I had waited patiently for my name to move to the top of the list (next order that would be ready). When my name got there, I got up and waited near the pickup where others waited for their rapid online orders/dine in and the manager, very rudely raised her voice and said for anyone waiting for an order to move and sit on the benches. In my case, I had just gotten up because my order was about ready. I kindly said to the woman working(maybe the manager)"The last name is hard to pronounce, but the order for Jen Z*****g is mine." I only said this because before I got there she had been calling out names for the rapid orders because most of the customers were there waiting for them already and my last name isn't the easiest to pronounce. She(employee/maybe manager) acknowledged what I said, gave another woman her order, and just gave me a dirty look. A couple seconds later, my order came out and she didn't even look at me, walked right passed me in the other direction and put my order on the rapid pickup shelves. I was completely ignored and disrespected and that woman needs to grow the fuck up or get a new job. Sorry to anyone who has to deal with that. Also I didn't mention that my rapid pickup order wasn't ready until 12 minutes after my scheduled pickup. Very disappointed read more
