We placed a relatively large order today, ahead of time, via the website. We were able to use a coupon for a free half sandwich, which was a nice surprise! Our order was ready right on time, picked it up via drive thru. Our order included sandwiches, soups, a cookie, a bear claw, and drinks. Our order was 100% correct. The food was all prepared correctly and was all delicious! The tuna salad sandwich is one of our favorites, the broccoli cheddar soup was so good! The reviews lately seem to be very poor but we had a very good experience. read more

Went to Panera to pick up food order- ended up waiting thirty minutes longer than scheduled pick up time. When we got home, one sandwich was wrong, hardly any roast beef on the French dip sandwich, and the chicken in the salad was basically non- existent. read more

No breakfast soufflés AGAIN at 8am!! EVERYTIME I try this place there's a problem !! MAKE Enough to get thru entire breakfast timeframe Everyday !! You certainly charge enough for them and "claim" to have 3 or 4 flavors of them on menu board.... This was my 4th and now final attempt to give them my business. Go further up Capital Blvd, it is a better location from an availability standpoint. This location does not care about customers and by looks of the other reviews should be closed down permanently... read more

I've ordered through the app for rapid pick up a few times and never again due to the consistent failure to get orders right. If you order any kind of specialty coffee such as a mocha latte you will not receive a mocha latte. You will receive an empty cup and they will direct you to the coffee bar, where they do not have the ingredients to make the drink you paid for. The last time I ordered, which is the last time I will ever order, I ordered a steak and wake. Which had no steak on it. Just eggs. They don't keep steak on the coffee bar either. So I got a wake. Not only is this common, it's celebrated. While I was waiting to get my order. The people behind the counter who were making the orders were laughing amongst themselves about how they left muffins out of the last order. Not only will this location screw up your order, they take pride in it. It's funny to them. read more

We've shopped this store often. Tonight I bought my wife the Asiago chicken sandwich to go. When she examined the sandwich, there was only 3 pieces of chicken, and more salad material than anything. One thin slice of tomato that you can see through it. Never mind not getting extra tomato that I asked for. Going to their website, there's no way to fill out a survey. This tells everyone they have no care for customer satisfaction. I will encourage everyone to never buy from this corporation as I travel nationwide every month. So long Panera! read more

Used ordering online. Ended up with 70.00 worth of salad. Driver needed assistance since they went to wrong end of building. Called to discuss the issue with the salad and was told sorry. This was for work. I now know NOT to use them for any events. Terrible customer service. PS Food was ok....drinks were warm. No soda or water for delivery....Hello.... read more

Literally there is an issue every time I order from you guys. The main thing is when I order a full sandwich and I get a half. Are you hungry and decide to steal what I pay for ? Do better and maybe you'll succeed in this world. Now it doesn't look so good for you. read more

I placed an order with Panera and, surprise surprise, they forgot my soup. Again. This isn't the first time they've left something off my order, and at this point, it's honestly ridiculous. I called to let them know, and the woman on the phone asked if I wanted a refund or to have it re-delivered. I said I'd like it re-delivered because, you know, I actually wanted the food I paid for and she immediately backtracked and said they couldn't because the managers were in a meeting. Seriously? I work 12-hour shifts. I don't have time to play phone tag or argue about missing food. All I wanted was my damn soup. Instead, I got zero help, zero accountability, and the same runaround I've experienced from this location multiple times. This was my last straw. I won't be ordering from here again. If you value getting your full order or receiving decent customer service, look elsewhere. read more

I placed an order on the app at 4:18 for pick up at 5pm. Order ran late and wasn't ready until 5:10. Had to wait for someone to get my cup for the drink. Take the food and walk away to realize that a sandwich is missing from the order. I went back and was questioned if I was sure another sandwich wasn't there....seriously?! read more

Horrible!!! 3o min to get a sandwich. It's been going downhill fast in the last few months. Direct reflection of poor management. Staff don't look happy either. Will need to cut going there anymore. Change management and you'll have a better store read more

I haven't been to Panera for a long time and it seems like most sandwich places around here don't sell soup (besides Subway...but I'd rather go in person than do pickup). Panera was super quick to deliver to the car and the person delivering it was nice. The food was hot and delicious but my two complaints (which is why I put three stars instead of more) is this: I ordered a Caesar Salad and it didn't even come with the dressing. So I paid like, $7+ for lettuce, a little sprinkle of cheese, and 5 croutons. My other complaint is that I ordered a small size portion of broccoli and cheddar macaroni soup and I legit got like, half of the actual size it should be. I know the inflation is hitting everyone hard but come one...this is just taking money at this point. read more

We come to this location about every week or two. We had come shortly after the New Year, and didn't have the best experience. I reached out and spoke with manager Adrien, who went above and beyond to make sure we received excellent customer service. He made right of the situation and then some. Will definitely continue coming back. read more

Ordered in person for lunch for two of us. We ordered the special which was $6.99 per order. We made the selections and added two drinks and a pastry. The cost was $36.00 but we were expecting a cost of $19.00. The cashier never talked on what items were not part of the special. Do not order the specials as the cashiers never state when an item is not part of the special. read more

Today was my first visit & I made it just before they closed. I'm not hard to please. I just wanted a cup of chicken noodle soup & blueberry muffins. I got the last 2 muffins they had & when I got home, I noticed that they weren't the same. I don't know if they have different kinds of blueberry muffins, but one has crystalized sugar on top & the other one didn't. The one without sugar was smaller too. It's not like I needed the extra calories (lol), but I wanted the regular muffins with the sugar. I'm definitely not going to let the smaller one go to waste. Believe that! I will just check my bag next time. The soup was ok & I got it with a side of chips. The service was a tad slow but not too bad. I would go back. read more

I normally go to the Durham(Roxboro) location, but was so tired of poor service among other problems (we're out of...). I'm glad I came to this one. Went to the drive thru and was pleasantly greeted by Sophia. She took my order and even made me aware I had a free treat available where I had signed up. It didn't take very long and most importantly, my order was correct! read more

I almost never write reviews, mainly because I have become accustomed to mediocre food and bare-minimum customer service in most restaurants I can afford. I love Panera's Asian Sesame Chicken salad. I stopped coming when they discontinued it and I'm glad it's back. But the main reason I come to this Panera is one person: Kayla. Unfailingly polite and helpful, Kayla is the epitome of great customer service. I'm sure she must have some bad days, but I've never seen her anything but positive, friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. She does her job, including cleaning tables and dumping trash, with a smile on her face. She seems to actually enjoy her job and interacting with customers. THIS IS EXTREMELY RARE! Kudos to her and whoever hired her. I am a retired business executive, and I would use her as a role model in customer service training if I were still working. Please give Kayla the recognition she deserves for what she does for customers every day. read more

AWFUL. The manager of this place needs to be fired immediately. I can't tell you how many times this location is OUT OF BREAD. What the heck? You're out of baguettes ALL THE TIME. This manager doesn't understand supply and demand. Placed a delivery order on the Panera app. Quick delivery although we were missing my husband's meal. When I called, the first person I spoke with said that he could give me a refund or I could come by and pick up the missing sandwich. Defeats the purpose of ordering delivery and even with a refund, I would have to pay fees when I reordered. I ended up speaking to Preston, the manager who was very helpful and went above and beyond to make up for the issue. Kudos to him for excellent customer service! Yes, I would have preferred to get my full order the first time and yes, I would have liked to have this addressed properly with the first person I spoke to. However, I'm beyond pleased with how Preston addressed everything. read more

I absolutely love Panera, especially their breakfast soufflé!! They have a great rewards program where you earn points with every purchase, and you get great deals after earning points. They have great options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their bakery items, especially the kitchen sink cookie, are also delicious. Fresh baked daily. The you pick 2 is a great deal and filling. Alex is a wonderful employee who always has a smile and a good attitude! Plus, the salads have always been yummy when I order!

what happened to this Panera? I used to go there at least twice a month, but just recently I went inside to order and was looking forward to enjoying my food at a table. After I ordered, I noticed all chairs were on the tables, and they told me they stopped allowing inside dining. That was so disappointing. it was only a week later that I thought I'd stop by to get a coffee, only to find the drive-through closed. i love Panera, and I hope they are able to get back to normal business soon. read more

This Panera Bread has generally been pretty good in the past. My recent experience left a lot to be desired though. I used the Rapid Pickup as that fits well into my schedule and I can run in and get what I order. Usually my order is on the shelf waiting for me to grab it. This time, my name was still on the preparing board. I overheard someone ask about the order and the employee said she was not going to do that until breakfast was over. I thought the whole point of the Rapid Pickup was to have the order prepared by the designated time not whenever the employee wants to prepare the orders. It appeared a manager prepared the order instead of the employee. The bag was not placed on the shelf or even checked so I decided to check. Luckily I did as I was missing an item. I went back to the counter and was told that I was not missing an item that she just forgot to put it in the bag. Well, if the item was not in my bag it was missing from it. The bottom of the receipt says "Accuracy Matters. Your order should be correct every time. If it's not, we'll fix it right away, and give you a free treat for your trouble." I was not expecting anything just wanted everything I ordered. I just didn't expect an attitude to get the missing item. An apology would have been a more appropriate response, something like I am sorry that we did not give you everything you ordered or have your order prepared on time. Hopefully this Panera can start focusing on accuracy and customer service but I won't return any time soon. I'm still trying to figure out how I received a complete order when someone forgot to put something in my bag. read more

Came her for a business lunch. The parking lot was a bit crowded but pretty easy to navigate. Shared with Ale house with plenty of space available. Not sure why all the bad reviews, I had no issues. Ordered a pick 2 and opted for veggie soup and turkey and cheese sandwich. Comes with a side and it was ready in about 5 minutes. The soup was good although could have been a bit warmer. Odd piece of lemon in middle of a veggie soup. But still tasty. I think those that gave bad reviews might try it again, as I would definitely come back. read more

Had an order delivered today and it had items missing from it. So I called the restaurant to see what we could do and the best solution was for us to drive over to either get the order fixed or get a refund. With no compensation or anything for our time or trouble. The reason given for the mistake was that they are short staffed, which I completely understand is a real issue. But that has zero to do with the order being wrong. It could make the preparation take longer, but not items left out. Very disappointed because we frequent this Panera and usually have a great experience. read more

I get people are still waking up in the morning, but.. customer service should still be a thing. I placed an order pick up order of the four cheese Soufflé to be ready at 7:30 am. It was ready at 7:25, cool, early. Nice. :) When I got to my table it was stone cold, like they hadn't heated it up at all. I go back to the counter and ask them to heat it up for me. She said a little snarky, there is a microwave over there for customers to use and walked away .. wow ... also the microwave is below the counter, under the coffee, so not only did I have to squat down to use a microwave, my dress was also dragging on the floor, while I waited for my food .. just an overall bad experience in the morning. Food was okay. Only reason I come here now is for the free unlimited sip club, free until July 4, otherwise, their prices are not worth the customer service and food value .. :/ read more

i hate to give chain restaurants bad reviews because i know they aren't all the same but truly... $9 for a HALF salad, i asked without croutons or bread because i'm gluten intolerant. when my order went through on the screen i actively heard a worker disrespecting the fact that i asked them kindly to change their gloves. talking to her coworkers about "allergy BS". i felt incredibly dis respected. my half salad took about 15 minutes. which i get, their under staffed. i used to work at this exact location but truthfully, it's gone down hill. don't even care that the drive through isn't open or that it took 15 min to get my food, or that there wasn't even a person to take my order at the front before i flagged someone down, just wish i was treated with respect after paying $9 for a salad read more

Every. Time. Every. Single time. This location is slow. Inconsistent. Consistently out of menu items. It's 8:30 Saturday morning. How are you out of soufflé ? 2.39 for a small Pepsi is insane! Had a GREAT experience at this Panera!! Nick B was our cashier - honestly he is the reason our experience was so great. We had a complicated to-go order he handled like a champ, he gave us fountain drinks while we waited, then I overheard him taking an order from a little girl and he was SO good with her. Panera's food is consistent from location to location from my perspective, but the service here far surpassed most any dining experience I've had (Panera or not) read more

Everytime I come here the drive thru has 2 orange cones in it so its closed. There is never parking here because ale house is always packed. This creates a problem. Most of the time my order is wrong. If I order online i have to wait 20 min for my order but if I go inside no one is ordering, so all their business is online orders. Why is the drive thru always closed then? Covid is over. Whats the next reason? Today my order was placed at 1:07 and arrived at my car at 1:25. 1 mac and cheese and 1 thai Chicken soup. I got home. My Thai CHICKEN soup had ZERO chicken in it and it had no vegetables in it. It was broth. Someone at Panera Bread corporate should look at the lack of management here. It is so frustrating, this is my last visit to any panera! read more

Today was not a good day for Panera. We ordered a meal but they were all out of bread and weren't willing to give a half of bagel etc. Then they forgot dressing for our salad.
