I ordered door dash and our very rude dasher forgot three items. Second to do so in a week and half so door dash refused to refund or help me. After going back and fourth with the dasher and being told to "be positive" I just decided to call Panera. The mgr Noah answered and was so kind and understanding and helpful. He made it right. The girl at the counter was rude as the photo was advertising a hazelnut coffee with Asiago bagel egg and sausage . I asked her for the photo advertised and she was saying she did. We were in the area and looking for food and we had never tried Panera bread so we decided to give a try. Knowing nothing about what is on there menu they have a wide array of selections and a good visual menu to show what they have. Another cool feature about the place is they have kiosks so you can skip the line at the registers and they are very easy and convenient to use. The food was exceptional and service was super fast. Everything we eat at Panera is fabulous. I have a huge problem with the entry way. There is no easy way to get to the door. You have to squeeze between cars or between a car and a fence. Today I was there with my mom, and she fell walking between cars and over the parking block. There needs to be a safer, easier way to get to the front door. read more

03/08/2019. Haven't been to a Panera Bread in forever! The lady behind the counter was very patient as I maneuvered my eyes over the vast and friendly wall menu. I decided on the turkey and avocado burger with bacon. They didn't skimp on the turkey and avocado. It nearly shot out of the bread blanket when I bit into it. Had a napkin handy at all times as the delicious ingredients oozed from the bread slices. No issues with the taste and portion for the price. All this "and a bag of chips" as the old saying goes! I love Panera. Really good and consistent bread products. I really like the spinach quiches. I wish they had smoked salmon or lox. So... I have a lot of lunches catered for my business meetings, and I am spoiled to have gone to other Panera locations where there is an area dedicated to pick up/phone orders... I arrived, and had to wait in line in back of 8 other people before I could get to the front and let them know that I had a phone order to pick up.. Then the gal handed me 3 cups. I asked what drinks were ordered, and she said "It doesn't say on the receipt" I think that there should be a way to document it, especially when one person is picking up a group order. Finally, when I returned to my office to conduct our lunch, I apologized for being late, as I had to wait in a very long line to pick up... and they told me they weren't surprised, that there must be new people there, because when they attempted the phone order, the person on the phone said they didn't do that... And only till she was insistent that she has placed a phone order in the past did they accommodate her... They asked where the bread was, and I said I picked up whatever they placed in the bag, and that the gal that handed it to me said that was the complete order...Well, they missed the bread, so their soup went without :( read more

Been going here for a few years now and they never disappoint. Sandwiches and salads are the best in town by far my personal favorites are the green goddess salad with balsamic dressing and the chicken and avocado melt (minus the cheese since I'm lactose intolerant). Love this place for grabbing sandwiches and muffins when I'm not in the mood for cooking for the family! We usually get the breakfast (ham egg and cheese) and grilled cheese sandwiches for the kiddos and the bacon turkey bravo and Italian sandwiches for ourselves. Great food in a relaxed atmosphere. It wasn't until later that I learned it was part of a chain. The staff was very friendly and the food was obviously made fresh and with a great deal of pride. I've came to this Panera a few times and I never have any problems; the employees are so kind and sweet, genuinely. Today though, i place a Rapid Pick-Up Order at 10:41am, and it said it would be ready at 10:51am, no problem. I came in with my friend and we stood by the trash and one of the girls asked the name of our order and we told her. It was about 11:01 before a bald man, assuming the manager? asked us why we're standing still and we informed him that we have yet to get our order. he gets my name and goes to the cooks, comes back and says that my order was set for 11:45am. When i told him that it was rapid pick up, he gave a bit of attitude denying that and said that in his system it said 11:45am. Now why on earth would i choose rapid pick up and come and hour early? Went to Panera in Turlock recently, as I have for several years. I ordered a sandwich and bit into a large, sharp piece of plastic; which chipped my tooth. I gave the piece of plastic to the store manager along with my receipt and she asked me to to fill a report. A customer service rep contacted me through email and to tell me what I already knew: the large, sharp plastic fell into my sandwich when the Panera employees where making it. The rep failed to correct the problem by ignoring my concerns and disregarding any type of solution. My dentist completed the dental work as a courtesy. Panera is pathetic because they took zero responsibilty!! Watch out what you bite into at Panera and don't have any expectations of their customer service.
