I made a special trip from Merced Panera to test Turlock Panera who had my order ready on counter with receipt. Merced Manager Meranda Dupree cites theft from homeless require customer to ask for empty coffee cup instead of pickup from counter. Request District and Area Managers discuss relocate Merced Panera to safer cleaner Merced Promenade Shopping Center. My compliments to Joey at Turlock Panera.

I ordered a salad but while eating I noticed I hair in my food, I thought maybe it was mine but I realized I had my hair up and it couldn't be mine. I went to tell someone but while I told them I realized NO one was wearing hair nets or anything while making the food. I stood there for about 5 mins then finally told them something, but when I told them they just said they'll remake it. I waited for my food when came back to get it and they just said thank you to me like if nothing happened?

Since it was rainy and cold I wanted a comfort food for the long drive I was about to take. I ordered the two pick half Grilled cheese and cup of soup to go. What a disappointment when I bit into my grilled cheese and saw that I had bitten into a plain bread sandwich with melted cheese. It was the most boring sandwich I ever tasted. I guess only the cheese was grilled because the bread was not!

I like Panera in general but my poor bagel D; I've gotten the cinnamon crunch bagel toasted & sliced from this location a couple times before without issue but I don't even know how this one could be served to a customer. It's beyond toasty lol

I like Panera, I'm a loyal customer, I just moved to this area. Needed to order some lunch because I nearly sliced my finger off trying to make my own. I got a sandwich, some soup, and a salad. And used door dash came out to $70. I take out my sandwich and i knew it was made with no care in the world. It's so sloppy and not full. This is a tomato and mozzarella sandwich and there's a lettuce to bread ratio. It should be cheese to bread. It's not even basil it's lettuce and if I wanted more lettuce I would have ordered another salad. I'm actually shocked. Supper disappointed. There was no butter in the bag for the bread baguettes. The manager was just like oh sorry you feel that way. The lady needs to understand customer service. Like let me help you out and maybe try saying "oh that will be taken care of, it won't happen again, I'll check with my team. Because if your teams fault. No wonder the place doesn't make good sandwiches. They have a leader that doesn't care or doesn't know how to lead or handle situations or whoever is in charge of food isn't paying attention or doesn't care about other people food. Tried telling me about a refund. Clearly my wallet isn't the problem if I spent a bogus amount of money on a small bowl of soup and soggy bread.

Ordered from Panera from their App to pick up. Bank charge went through. Get there and waited over 30 minutes. Went in and this Panera in Turlock didn't have my order or any paper trail for my order. Showed them the email confirming and charge. Couldn't get the food I ordered NOR a refund for $13.35. Waited on hold for Panera customer service for over an hour. No one picked up. I suppose this is a way to make money. Charge customers then not have any way of coming through with my order or refund. Very very poor customer service.

Another road trip south, another stop at Panera. This time was an improvement over my last visit, especially considering the regulations currently required because of COVID-19. It was a fine experience overall culminating in some fresh, delicious food. My hungry crew all ordered salads. Two of those salads had heavy customizations. All the orders came out as requested and all the salads were delicious. I'm not usually a fan of asian-style salads but I ordered Panera's just to break my comfort zone. The sauces weren't overly sweet and the salad was chock full of fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and tasty chicken chunks. This Panera has a number of advantages over the many eateries in its vicinity. It's one of the closest to the freeway (making for easy access), it's relatively healthy and it's open when many surrounding businesses are not during coronavirus. Consider all that if you're like us and need a convenient food stopover.

The girl at the counter was rude as the photo was advertising a hazelnut coffee with Asiago bagel egg and sausage . I asked her for the photo advertised and she was saying she did. Not even know what the advertisement showed in a rude impatient manner.. I told her manager who did not do anything about it . Coming into a place hoping for a smile and a nice meal is something I always got in panera. Rude staff !!! Booo!! And an j caring manager . read more

Always a clean, friendly place to enjoy coffee, a cold drink with delicious food as well. If you experience anything wrong with your order, they fix it immediately or calling corporate does take care of things quick and satisfaction is guaranteed. Try the sip club if you're a regular! The rewards are amazing and add up quickly. The food can be very pricey, so shop well when you get those rewards. read more

We were in the area and looking for food and we had never tried Panera bread so we decided to give a try. Knowing nothing about what is on there menu they have a wide array of selections and a good visual menu to show what they have. Another cool feature about the place is they have kiosks so you can skip the line at the registers and they are very easy and convenient to use. The food was exceptional and service was super fast. Would highly recommend this to anyone in the area if you want some absolutely delicious food. read more

A welcome change for long road trips. Thankful for the healthier alternatives to fast food burgers and fries. I specially enjoy the warm soup on cold days and the refreshing drinks on hot ones. Everything we eat at Panera is fabulous. I have a huge problem with the entry way. There is no easy way to get to the door. You have to squeeze between cars or between a car and a fence. Today I was there with my mom, and she fell walking between cars and over the parking block. There needs to be a safer, easier way to get to the front door. read more

I love Panera. Really good and consistent bread products. I really like the spinach quiches. I wish they had smoked salmon or lox. Once I asked a girl if they had smoked salmon and she looked at me as if I asked if they had alligator teeth cream cheese. Very shocked ! Lol. She said NO?!?! Top = bowl Bottom = cup 2 dollar difference, same serving amount. Either they don't fill it purposely or I got screwed. When the server dropped it off, he looked at the bowl of soup like it was a masterpiece. Taste like canned soup. This isn't the first time they've done this. I don't know why this place exists. Last time I was here was 4 yrs ago. Will never come back. Get better! read more

03/08/2019. Haven't been to a Panera Bread in forever! The lady behind the counter was very patient as I maneuvered my eyes over the vast and friendly wall menu. I decided on the turkey and avocado burger with bacon. They didn't skimp on the turkey and avocado. It nearly shot out of the bread blanket when I bit into it. Had a napkin handy at all times as the delicious ingredients oozed from the bread slices. No issues with the taste and portion for the price. All this "and a bag of chips" as the old saying goes! BTW: Came with a bag of chips!!! read more

So... I have a lot of lunches catered for my business meetings, and I am spoiled to have gone to other Panera locations where there is an area dedicated to pick up/phone orders... I arrived, and had to wait in line in back of 8 other people before I could get to the front and let them know that I had a phone order to pick up.. Then the gal handed me 3 cups. I asked what drinks were ordered, and she said "It doesn't say on the receipt" I think that there should be a way to document it, especially when one person is picking up a group order. Finally, when I returned to my office to conduct our lunch, I apologized for being late, as I had to wait in a very long line to pick up... and they told me they weren't surprised, that there must be new people there, because when they attempted the phone order, the person on the phone said they didn't do that... And only till she was insistent that she has placed a phone order in the past did they accommodate her... They asked where the bread was, and I said I picked up whatever they placed in the bag, and that the gal that handed it to me said that was the complete order...Well, they missed the bread, so their soup went without :( read more

Been going here for a few years now and they never disappoint. Sandwiches and salads are the best in town by far my personal favorites are the green goddess salad with balsamic dressing and the chicken and avocado melt (minus the cheese since I'm lactose intolerant). I honestly love all their salads though. read more

I'll start positive. The food was good and they gave a free cookie. The food was cold when we received it and the staff was messing around the whole time. We ordered online and they forgot to give us our sandwich. The staff was sitting at a table chatting rather than working. Love this place for grabbing sandwiches and muffins when I'm not in the mood for cooking for the family! We usually get the breakfast (ham egg and cheese) and grilled cheese sandwiches for the kiddos and the bacon turkey bravo and Italian sandwiches for ourselves. Alongwith we get the lemonade and super fruit shake, finishing it off with a shared bear claw and blueberry scone. Yummy! read more

If you like muffins and cookies you will simply adore the muffie I had the pleasure of consuming at this Panera Bread location. The texture of this delectable pastry is fluffy like a cloud yet withholds a strong and infallible crust. The chocolate chips are perfectly spread out evenly throughout this heavenly dessert and perfect for a road trip snack. In my 7, almost 8 years on this planet, this cookie ranks as the second best cookie I have ever eaten. Overall, 9.8/10. read more

Great food in a relaxed atmosphere. It wasn't until later that I learned it was part of a chain. The staff was very friendly and the food was obviously made fresh and with a great deal of pride. I loved the sandwiches, soups and salads. There were many choices if you wanted to get the half sandwich and soup combo which I often did. I've came to this Panera a few times and I never have any problems; the employees are so kind and sweet, genuinely. Today though, i place a Rapid Pick-Up Order at 10:41am, and it said it would be ready at 10:51am, no problem. I came in with my friend and we stood by the trash and one of the girls asked the name of our order and we told her. It was about 11:01 before a bald man, assuming the manager? asked us why we're standing still and we informed him that we have yet to get our order. he gets my name and goes to the cooks, comes back and says that my order was set for 11:45am. When i told him that it was rapid pick up, he gave a bit of attitude denying that and said that in his system it said 11:45am. Now why on earth would i choose rapid pick up and come and hour early? Not a huge fan of this experience, i hope they can figure this out because was embarrassing to say the least. read more

Absolutely love their thumbprint cookies here! The bakery is always a must! I also enjoy their tomato soup when it's cold and their chicken sandwich when it's hot. Their chai tea is great, better when ordered hot. Staff is nice and place is usually very clean. read more

Went to Panera in Turlock recently, as I have for several years. I ordered a sandwich and bit into a large, sharp piece of plastic; which chipped my tooth. I gave the piece of plastic to the store manager along with my receipt and she asked me to to fill a report. A customer service rep contacted me through email and to tell me what I already knew: the large, sharp plastic fell into my sandwich when the Panera employees where making it. The rep failed to correct the problem by ignoring my concerns and disregarding any type of solution. My dentist completed the dental work as a courtesy. Panera is pathetic because they took zero responsibilty!! Watch out what you bite into at Panera and don't have any expectations of their customer service. They could careless about food safety and customer service! read more

Sunday night 7:45 pm a little over an hour before close and I walked up and ordered. About 10 tables of people and staff cleaning so quiet reading may be not be best unless it doesn't bother you. Order to go and it came fast, neatly packed and smells great ! And the bag is reusable nice. This location is usually on point and right off 99. read more

Worst service EVER. I have tried multiple times, but always the same. First off, They never bring out my curbside pick up orders. I always end up having to go inside, then half my order is missing. It's RIDICULOUS. My mac and cheese is ALWAYS never cooked all the way. They mess up on sandwiches I order. I am done with this Panera. read more

I must add that this may be the best Panera store in California. I had the vegetable sandwich it was so sweet tasting I was in Heavens . This was delicious and never have these tasted so good . Then I tried their cookie and again this was the best tasting cookie. I may have to drive 300 miles to come back here again. read more

I was so shocked for the price what you get. I use to love Panera but this one I have to say finally was the last. I took my little girls in there. We all had a 1/2 sandwich & a cup of soup a total of 3. my girls had 2 small drinks I had free water. the total was almost 50.00 i was so shocked. When the food arrived the cup of soups were more a half cup of soup. the meals didn't fill us up at all. I spent so much I didn't even have enough left for them to have a treat. Plus the store was dirty and the manager is rude. when you go to order they rush you and when you have 2 kids trying to figure out what they would like and a cashier going on and on it is so difficult especially when you suffer from anxiety . I was so stressed when i left. Never again. read more

I got the turkey sandwich and added bacon. The layer of cream cheese adds a great flavor and I love the sprouts. It made me want order it again, and I did. I door dashed multiple times and all were yummy and fresh. They also got my order correct. I drove over the last time and ordered by phone. The young lady was kind on the phone and took my order fine. It took 15 min or so to get there and nobody was there when I walked in. The store was pleasant and clean. My sandwich wasn't ready but I was fine waiting. The counter girl told me she had made my first sandwich incorrectly and had to remake it. No problem. I waited and she was quick. Very nice.... Problem was when I got home. She had made the sandwich incorrectly and left off the bacon (which I had paid extra for). I had some cooked bacon at home and added it to the sandwich and it was again, fresh and yummy! My favorite things are the great amount of turkey they put on. They don't skimp on toppings and the Dutch crunch is fresh and delicious. I will go back for sure but nobody wants to drive 10-15 min to get home and the order is wrong. Otherwise I would have given a 5 star rating.

I ordered a 12 inch Turkey, avocado and bacon with extra pepperchini, A crispy spicy chicken sandwich and an order of classic fries. The sourdough bread was toasted to prefection, layered with an abundant supply of lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, and the extra pepperchinis all on top of a thick stack of sliced turkey with bacon and sliced avocado. Since I bought the 12 in, and it was to go, they gave me 2 slabs of 6 in subs in individual boxes. Delightful! The crispy spicy chicken sandwich, soo good. A crispy bun enveloping a thick crispy slab of chicken cutlet topped off with lettuce and tomatoes drenched in the spicy sauce! Best chicken sandwich hands down. Usually I eat my sandwiches with chips on the side, but I am glad that I had ordered a side of the classic fries for my son. He almost didnt get his order of fries because, being a good father, you know we have to get that Dad tax on and check for quality. Well, let's just say I was barely able to stop myself from snacking on more than a couple of his fries. They were fried nice and crispy on the outside but soft and tender inside. Tossed in light coat of seasoning, not sure what it was but it sure complemented the fries. So if you havent tried this restaurant, do yourself a favor and make it a stop on ur next outing.

My husband went to Togo's on Geer Rd. in Turlock to order sandwiches for our weekly Friday movie night. I have acid reflux and sulfur allergies so I gave him a detailed list of what I wanted on my sandwich. When the sandwiches were handed to him he asked if they, especially mine because of my food allergies, were made correctly. He was assured that they were. Unfortunately, being assured that my sandwich was made correctly, I bit into it without checking first. That was a serious mistake. It included jalapeños, onions, and pickles basically everything that I wanted left off. For a person with acid reflux, this ensures a very unpleasant evening. For a person with severe food allergies like a sulfur allergy (fortunately this was not included), this insures them a visit to the ER and possibly worse. Most people just don't comprehend the seriousness of this issue. Maybe they are too lazy to remake the sandwich or they simply don't care what happens to their customers! There are some other issues with this Togo's. Closing at 8 pm on a Friday night or the weekend is simply unacceptable. I am sure that there is a lot of business that is being missed out on. The other issue is stocking. Running out of roast beef literally every time we try to order it shows that this location lacks in planning and ordering skills. This location leaves a lot to be desired!

Went in today Tuesday out of all days! since it is their baker's bagel deal. Asked the lady at the counter if I could get a jalapeno bagel, she replies " we don't have any" I said, it's a jalapeno bagel I usually get it maybe it's called something else? she replies and points at the basket "we don't have any" her attitude was nasty. Too bad I didn't get her name, I would have wrote it here. I asked, do you guys just not make them anymore or did you run out? she answers again and once again she points at the stupid basket and says "we don't have any" Geeezzz how hard is it to say we ran out, would you like to wait for the other ones to come out or make some suggestions!! seriously, all the comments about customer service are correct. So I proceed to order an asiago cheese bagel and guess what!? she answers once again, "we don't have any" Are you serious? on a Tuesday you run out of bagels when you have a great deal going on? Whatever that is besides the point. Now I'm getting annoyed with her answers. I finally ended up ordering an asiago roll (which is actually pretty delicious.) So I wanted a coffee and i asked her if they had iced coffe and she says yea, and gives me an empty cup. So I pay and stand there waiting for my "iced coffe" well idk what this is, some sort of do it all yourself shop but, after standing there for a bit, I ask, do I go somewhere else to get the coffee? she says the machines are all the way over there? oookkkkaaayyyyyy???? woowwww..... as I go to the soda machine there is for sure a coffee maker that says "iced coffee, and the creamer on the side, and the sugar on the side. Well not exactly what i expected but now i know better! Just one suggestion, PANERA YOU HAVE GREAT BREAD AND GREAT BAKERS! Fantastic Delivery Experience from Panera! I recently ordered from Panera for delivery, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! The food arrived hot and fresh, just as if I had dined in the restaurant. I ordered the classic broccoli cheddar soup and a fresh grilled chicken and avo BLT sandwich. Both were delicious! The flavors were vibrant, and the portion sizes were generous. What impressed me the most was the prompt delivery and the care taken in packaging. Everything was neatly packed, and nothing was spilled. Overall, my experience with Panera's delivery service was fantastic. I'll definitely be ordering again soon! Highly recommended! read more

One of my most loved places in Turlock; and my definite favorite for breakfast. I really wouldn't want to deem this eatery with the usually demeaning staple of "fast food," but some people think of Panera Bread as so (at least as one of the healthiest in America). I love their breakfast sandwiches and scrumptious souffles the most (like at a level completely above everything else), yet unfortunately they only serve these delights until 11 A.M.! Their sandwiches are alright, but I'm definitely a big fan of the Chicken Bacon Dijon. Overall, a great restaurant, and it's pretty healthy compared to most restaurants. read more

I had went to Panera today for lunch, ordered broccoli cheddar soup in a bread bowl. The wait was only a couple of minutes and the food was hot and ready as soon as I picked up. Everything had tasted good and the service was great! They were very friendly and helpful and overall it is a very good restaurant.
