It's actually nice to see customer service at their finest. Very nice, and easy to talk to. Second, the lady who made my sandwich or tried to attempt to make a Turkey Pesto Avocado I'm not sure what was going through your mind... but I wish I had taken a before and after photo of my sandwich but there was no avocado and you gave me 2handful of Spinach so it was a Dutch crunch bread with spinach and turkey... mind you I came up to the counter awkwardly because you and your girlfriend were chatting and laughing.. and I felt like you guys wanted to make things right but I felt like I was interrupting your fun you were having at the front of the counter. The lady in the blonde hair please don't make people feel bad at there bringing you a Sandwich that you messed up on. I mean I payed 39 dollars for 2 meals and you got one correct. The ambiance of the store was nice, it was very clean, and had an easy flow. The customer service was okay, could have been better if they helped decipher the menu since it was our first time in, but that will come with more experience. The food though, top notch. It blew me away! I walked away with 2 regrets. First, ordering it to-go. I wish I had just sat there and ate the food in store, then I would have had the chance to order some for the road. Second, not ordering enough food. The food was great, I did not expect the quality and amount of ingredients going into my sandwich. I made my fare share of sandwiches when I was managing a sub shop back in my day, so I came in pretty biased. I ordered a 12 inch Turkey, avocado and bacon with extra pepperchini, A crispy spicy chicken sandwich and an order of classic fries. The sourdough bread was toasted to prefection, layered with an abundant supply of lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, and the extra pepperchinis all on top of a thick stack of sliced turkey with bacon and sliced avocado. Since I bought the 12 in, and it was to go, they gave me 2 slabs of 6 in subs in individual boxes. Delightful! The crispy spicy chicken sandwich, soo good. A crispy bun enveloping a thick crispy slab of chicken cutlet topped off with lettuce and tomatoes drenched in the spicy sauce! Best chicken sandwich hands down. Usually I eat my sandwiches with chips on the side, but I am glad that I had ordered a side of the classic fries for my son. He almost didnt get his order of fries because, being a good father, you know we have to get that Dad tax on and check for quality. Well, let's just say I was barely able to stop myself from snacking on more than a couple of his fries. They were fried nice and crispy on the outside but soft and tender inside. Tossed in light coat of seasoning, not sure what it was but it sure complemented the fries. I just moved into this area and trying new places. I have both door dashed and ordered over the phone and picked it up. Door dash first, it was fast and fresh. I really enjoyed the sandwich. I got the turkey sandwich and added bacon. The layer of cream cheese adds a great flavor and I love the sprouts. It made me want order it again, and I did. I door dashed multiple times and all were yummy and fresh. They also got my order correct. I drove over the last time and ordered by phone. The young lady was kind on the phone and took my order fine. It took 15 min or so to get there and nobody was there when I walked in. The store was pleasant and clean. My sandwich wasn't ready but I was fine waiting. The counter girl told me she had made my first sandwich incorrectly and had to remake it. No problem. I waited and she was quick. Very nice.... Problem was when I got home. She had made the sandwich incorrectly and left off the bacon (which I had paid extra for). I had some cooked bacon at home and added it to the sandwich and it was again, fresh and yummy! My favorite things are the great amount of turkey they put on. They don't skimp on toppings and the Dutch crunch is fresh and delicious. I will go back for sure but nobody wants to drive 10-15 min to get home and the order is wrong. Ordered a salami, avocado and sprouts which said it included cream cheese, but there was none on my sandwich, which was unfortunate since that's why I chose that specific one and it was a higher price. I really understand that running a business nowadays is difficult due to a lot of unwilling people. With that said, I unfortunately have to give it a 1. I reviewed this same spot 6 years ago and my experience was outstanding, even owner commented on it, which by the way, I think its a great gesture. Today was an unpleasant experience, first the worker that took my order had no intention of being nice and cheerful, wouldn't even make eye contact. Second, instead, the worker seemed to be happy, cheerful, laughing, and 'horse playing' with the other employees, which were a total of 3. Third the waiting to get my food was so ridiculously long, 30 minutes to be exact, from the time of my receipt to the time I finally got my food, if cameras were working, this could be proven. Fourth the beer batter fries were like tiny chips, no fry consistency whatsoever. To top it off, they seemed to be way too over cooked and burned taste was delivered. Thankfully sandwiches were good but no napkins were given in the bag, SMH. Horrible experience, will summarize this. read more

Boy this place is in rough shape. Filthy floors. Filthy tables. 1.5 people working behind the counter. Both bathrooms are locked with signs that say out of order. Shelves not stocked. And the prices have gotten so high I seriously wonder if they are going under. 45 minutes to get a sandwich. Maybe they can explain that to my boss as I'm on my 30 min lunch break. Bomb diggity sandwiches! I have to say this joint is better than Jersey Mike and defiantly Subway. A little more on the pricey side for a sandwich however you get for what you pay for. They have 3 sizes and I got a regular turkey with provolone and avocado. Was suppose to come with bacon as well but I decided to opt that out. You can do the works, there is a a sign at the register and you decide if you want it all or what to opt out. The sandwich is big! You can defiantly share a regular or if you're really hungry eat it all or go for the bigger size haha! My sandwich had a good amount of turkey and avocado. Even the bread was good! My husband got a sandwich that was similar to an Italian sub and it also had a good amount of meat. We both enjoyed our sandwiches and if we are ever back in Turlock we will return! read more

Poor location. Our "medium" sandwiches were super thin, one clearly 2 inches longer than the other, very light on toppings. Remember when you could fill up on a small?! Fries in a bag half full. What happened to serving food on a tray with fries in a basket?! Very poor presentation. Each item was just handed to us at our table individually. Too cheap to even put on a tray? I've never been so upset over a sandwich. We're in town for baseball and I literally said you can't go wrong with a deli. Well, I was wrong! We spent almost $50 on 4 sandwiches and every one of us had to force ourselves to eat it because it was so bad and we had no other options. If we weren't on a time schedule I would have taken it all back and asked for a refund. We ordered turkey, avo and bacon. Avo was almost non existent and bacon was one tiny little strip to fill up the entire sandwich. Then we come to the Mayo/mustard. Or lack there of. First one was supposed to only have Mayo and they put only mustard. And check out the photo of how every sandwich looked. One small strip of mustard and the rest nothing. Talk about the driest sandwich I've ever had. Then the bread. We got Dutch crunch and I've never had such dry almost stale bread. So sad! read more

If i could give them below a one star i would. We used to go there regularly. My kids love their beer battered fries. We stopped in to get dinner. The chair was a new kid. The other employee was in the back barking at him the whole time (very rudely). He had some trouble with our order no problem. We got our drinks and sat down. There was another group in the store talking about what they were going to do when the young employee gets off. The other employee was saying she was off until Monday and can't wait to get out of there. She finally came out with our food and has it in a bag. She said "oh this is to go right?" I'll start with positive: Food was fresh. It ends there. I ordered my food on a virtual platform bc I had visited from out of town. I ordered a turkey wrap and beer battered fries and a cookie (cheat day ;)). Tell me why my food was dropped off in a plastic bag, wide open, sandwich cut and open, fries open in a paper sack and OPEN and inside my bag was wet with condensation? Oh, and then I ordered produce was missing off my sandwich, which that I could've gotten passed if I knew my food had been prepared and handled properly. Okay, so I contact the food delivery service primarily bc the store took no steps to protect my food to keep me safe as a customer-I didn't feel safe eating it. They refunded me, blah blah blah. Out of COURTESY I contacted Deli Delicious Turlock to let them know why (I wasn't angry, just communicating) and this girl had the nerve give me attitude and say there's nothing else she could do to improve the packaging or protect my food. I live in SF so I generally order in my area and most restaurants take precautionary measures to protect customers' food. I wanted to ask her if she'd never heard of a stapler? Tape? Does she know how to tie a bag? I didn't, of course. She became argumentative and told me that that is the "risk [I] take when ordering through food delivery services." I assured her I didn't call to argue just be a good patron and let them know how to improve but she wasn't trying to hear it. She continued her bratty attitude but I wasn't about to waste my time on her so it ended there. Where are businesses finding these workers? You can put a name tag on a kangaroo and it would probably be more hospitable to your patrons. This was September 16th around 5PM. read more
