Tuna on tomato basil bread with French onion soup and chips
Brigitte L.

Highly disappointed with my pickup order. Ordered pickup for dinner last night for myself and my daughter. I ordered my usual -- pick 2 with a Greek salad and half tuna on tomato basil bread. Does this look like tomato basil bread!? And where the heck is the tuna!!?? It's like they literally scraped some tuna across the bread. The sandwich was dry and hardly any tuna. This is a waste of a $11 meal! Come on Panera, I know you're better than this.

Not only is the food and drink delicious but it's such a great meeting place for friends. The booths and the tables are comfy too. You can hear each other talk and staying for 3 hours is not a problem. The service is quick and easy plus they have a kiosk system if you choose not to deal with the cashier. Ask for Panera gift cards for Christmas so you can go often.

French Ciabatta Dipper Spicy Chicken Ciabatta Dipper Drinks: Chai Tea Latte & Americano

Panera is a classic go to because it's been around for many years. My daughter suggested that we have an early brunch and try their new dipper sandwiches. Upside: This did not disappoint French Onion Dipper; has your classic beef and cheese on ciabatta, but the bread was fresh. The meat felt tender, not overcooked, and the French onion dip was a nice sweet thing to it. Combine made an excellent dip sandwich. I wanted more. Spicy Chicken Dipper; this surprise me very much and had a nice spicy spice to the tomato sauce. It had a salsa Verde cream spread that I wasn't expecting however, it really really enhance the flavor of the sandwich. It was delicious every bite, especially when you dipped it. Drinks are good. Downside: Spent north of $40 for just my daughter and me... which honestly is pricer than preferred with a chain restaurant.

What it looks like online

Ordered a chicken salad sandwich. It had one sliver of chicken. I remembered when I got home why I don't go there anymore.the pictures tell you the real truth.

Pathetic, I will not be ordering Panera anymore. Time and time again they skimp out on what you're paying for. This is 2oz of chicken.....

This is a sad excuse for a sandwich. If you're going to call it a chicken sandwich it needs to have more than 2oz of chicken. I won't be back

The food is delicious and my son loves it, the service is good and the ambiance is great. Clean and organized

$7 bowl of turkey chili- decent. Portion was small
Robin K.

Wasn't feeling too well so thought Panera soup should do the trick. To my amazement, a bowl of soup was $7 and they're quite skimpy with the portions. I can get a large bowl of yummy Phò for around the same price at Saigon Deli. Mistake on my part, I should've gone there instead. I used to frequent this place a lot but lately i am very surprised how expensive this place is getting. It's very easy to spend $15+ on lunch. That's crazy to me. As far as the turkey chili goes, it wasn't very flavorful. I had to add Tabasco sauce. Oh, it came with cold sprouted roll which was so hard to tear. Overall, not impressed!

I've actually had CAVA before, but it had been a few years since the last time I went, so I was excited to try it again. We both ended up getting bowls, and everything tasted super fresh and flavorful. I got arugula and brown rice as my base with harissa honey chicken, tzatziki and hummus, plus corn, pickled onions, pita crisps, pita chips on the side, and the yogurt dill sauce. Everything mixed together so well and had a really good balance of flavors and texture. The harissa honey chicken had a really good sweet and spicy flavor without being too overpowering. For my drink, I mixed the blueberry lavender drink with lemonade and it was SO good and refreshing. My mom got the garlic dressing on her bowl and I highly recommend trying it because it was really flavorful and paired well with everything. The portions were great, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the whole meal felt light but still filling. Definitely a place I'd come back to again!

Bonus is they are opening one in Wesley Chapel. That's a win for me.

The beef was tender, but the dish lacked depth and flavor. The pasta was still too firm, and the sauce was watery and runny. I couldn't finish it. The kids cheese pizza was good The dough tasted freshly made, with more of a thin crust. We have our usual go-to pizza spots, but this was a convenient option. What I found odd was the seating. Despite only 2-3 tables being occupied, the hostess took quite a while to seat us. She initially offered a high-top BAR table hidden behind a large wall, which wasn't practical for my young daughter, then seated us in a secluded corner of the patio. I dine out alone with my daughter all the time, and I couldn't help but wonder if being a single mom dining with a young child influenced where we were seated. Another family grandparents with a child was seated right next to us shortly afterward. It almost felt like they were keeping the kids away from the main dining room! Maybe just a coincidence, but with the restaurant nearly empty, it seemed strange. On the positive side, our server was friendly and attentive, and the service was good. I may return to try other dishes, but for the prices, I personally prefer some of Tampa's more authentic Italian spots.Overall, a decent experience, just not quite worth the hype or price for me.

The only miss for me was the raw white part of the green onions in the salad, they were a bit too chunky for my taste. The chicken, though? Perfectly grilled...crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. It came with a tzatziki sauce that was more on the liquidy side, which isn't my favorite texture, so I just used it as a dip for the chicken and hummus. Heads-up: the menu on their official site isn't updated, but if you Google "Tasty Mediterranean," it shows accurate prices and lets you order online. It came out to $17.99 plus tax , which is a little pricey for lunch, but the portions were solid and the staff were super friendly so no complaints there!

I had a N/A Bubbly Blanc that gave me a nice champagne experience without the buzz. We ordered the Tre Carne pizza and Spicy Calabrian Shrimp pasta. The pizza was okay, with a lot of crust and not much sauce. The yellow sauce was very light and almost tasted like olive oil. The crust was light and airy though. The Spicy Calabrian Shrimp came initially without spinach, and our server quickly apologized for the input error and took it back to be fixed. I was a little thrown off when they brought back out the same pasta with a small plate of sautéed spinach on the side. I added it to the corner of the pasta, but ideally it would be incorporated to the dish as advertised. I will say there were a good amount of shrimp in the pasta. We had a nice round table over looking the bar, making conversations easy for our larger group. Not sure we would return for anything other than the wine tasting!
