My Southwest chicken salad was large and loaded with tomatoes. My chicken sandwich was hot & crispy w/ melty cheese. The Tuna Duet w/ tomato soup was tasty, but the sandwich could have some extra toppings since it only comes w/ lettuce and tomato. The chili was a bit strong & spicy for my taste but was filled completely. Got lunch to go at Panera in North Olmsted. We ordered a salad and chips. when we got home we got a bowl half filled with lettuce and a cup of dressing. No cheese no croutons nothing else. We also did not get the chips. We had to drive back to register a complaint with the manager. BIG MISTAKE. The manager never apologized and finally agreed to let us choose a different salad. We picked the chicken parm salad. The manager said they were out of chicken parm. What happened to Panera? We have been going there for years. No more. New Year, new eating habits. So instead of an everything bagel, I bought the "garden avo toast." The avocado was good, fresh and not "brown" at all. The tomatoes were pieces which was good since they were tasteless. Barely any seasoning (I think it was supposed to be everything bagel seasoning). The toast was only toasted on one side. A poor experience to at just gets worse! I placed a catering order for a business lunch. Went to pick it up to discover the order was very wrong, including leaving out half of the items! It wasn't ready in the first place, then wrong on top of that. But it gets worse. Several of the people got sick after drinking the beverages. I tasted a couple and, sure enough, they tasted bad! Okay, so here's the tipping point. Family meal curbside pick up After swim lessons I decided to pick up a family meal for dinner. I ordered before leaving the location and showed up after the promised time on the app. I pulled in the curbside section and checked in here on the app. After waiting about 15 minutes I tried calling the number since I could see in the panera and there weren't any customers in line I figured maybe they didn't know I arrived. There was no answer. After another guy pulled up to curbside a girl came running out with both orders. Luckily I checked the bag before I left bc the order was wrong and I ended up having to go in the restaurant anyways. By the time I got home to eat after all that the pizza was cold and the salad was sort of wilted and not very crunchy. I love panera food but over the last year or two the service and quality has really go down. I know there are Covid and staffing factors but about 75% of the takeout orders I get are not right even after asking if everything is there. And the real problem is that there is no one to fix it. After you get home even if you call the store and tell them the issue they say they will pass the message along but nothing is ever done to fix it. Terrible. My sandwich was missing the pappadew peppers, one slice of avocado on it, and was cut so badly half my sandwich didn't have a bottom. It was just a mess poorly wrapped up. Almost like it was dropped. Toppings all fallen off in the wrap. My Husband got the Mediterranean sandwich. It was lettuce and onions. There was the tiniest little spot of hummus on one half of the bread right in the middle (none on the other half), one cucumber on it, no feta and it wasn't wrapped properly so when we took it out of the bag the toppings fell out. No croutons for the onion soup, no cheese in it and it was terrible. It was so dark and sweet. I've eaten this soup for years and love it, this was awful. Went straight in the garbage. Even my apple was old. It's bruised, the skin is wrinkled and it's soft and has brown spots. I can't even eat it. $50 for poorly made, poorly wrapped, poorly tasting, missing ingredients. WE WILL NEVER GET FOOD FROM HERE AGAIN!! EVER. If I could give negative stars, I would. I used to love Panera. The manager and employees should be embarrassed to send food out like this. I very much enjoy Panera. I can't go there without getting the broccoli cheddar soup with the French baguette. I would give Panera 4 or 5 stars, but I can't do that because I have different feelings for when I dine in or when I carry out. When I dine in, it's great. The portions are very reasonable and it is always very fresh. The salads are huge (even the half salads). I wish I felt the same about carry out. When you compare what you get when you dine in verses what you carry out, it seems like you get 1/3 less than what you would get when you eat in at the same price. The salad is much smaller and the soup is in a far smaller container. I would give Panera a higher rating if they would fix this. read more

On 3 seperate occasions our orders were so terribly wrong, I had to go back in and ask for them to be remade. They gave me attitude on 2 of those occasions and I was not being rude by any means. The third time I was upset, but didn't show it. The second occassion they remade our order, but made it wrong again. Half of the ingredients were missing the second time around. Every other panera we have ever been too is wonderful, however. I would never order from the North Olmsted Location ever again. read more

Management in this place is a joke. I came in early one day to grab my lunch and avoid the lunch crowd. If you've been to Panera before then you know they have two separate areas where you can check out: the dessert and pastry area and the lunch area. There was ONE cashier and she was over by the pastry area. Naturally, I waited over by the lunch area to order. Stood there for a good 15 minutes, people passed me and walked by and no one said anything to me-- including the manager. We have stopped at this location a few times lately while my house gets remodeled and I can't cook at home right now. The food is very good, I have to admit, BUT it is extremely overpriced. We ordered a pick-2 soup+salad combo and a full sized salad. Onion soup was fine, no cheese or croutons, had to ask. Full sized salad good, half salad mostly tough kale. I ordered some breakfast sandwiches replacing the bread with everything bagels and adding cheese to one. When I got to the location they said that they were out of everything bagels so I said to do one with black pepper focaccia and the other with the Asiago bagel. When I opened the bag both were with the Asiago bread and the one did not have the additional cheese. I brought them back to the store and the two sandwiches were remade and the same person made the one again with Asiago bread instead of the black pepper focaccia bread. I was then told they would not be making the sandwiches over again and somehow it was my fault that they had done it wrong twice. Even as I was asking if I could just buy another sandwich correctly the manager (who never took the few steps over to actually talk to me) kept saying they would not keep remaking sandwiches. I would never recommend that kind of service where I had to pay for a sandwich twice because the person making it made a mistake twice. Should be embarrassed to run a business that way. read more

Horrible experience. Coming from someone who used to be an assistant manager for Panera bread Im highly disappointed. Although the cashiers were kind, they had no clue about their menu, allergens or even asked if we had any preferences on our order. When asked if the V on the menu meant vegetarian or vegan, I got blank stares. Neither of them could tell me what was vegan or vegetarian because they had no clue what the definition of each word was. The cashier rambled the ingredients in the soup and said "it has chick peas I don't know if that's vegan." I then had to explain that not having dairy or eggs means vegan (after the 3rd time of repeating myself and after asking if any of their bread contained eggs or dairy which obviously no one could answer) we went back and forth as I was trying to figure out what my options were since I was looking for vegan options. I was rushed and didn't have time to give a proper look over all my options and since I had no help from the staff in identifying what my choices were I just picked something fast to not hold up the line. While I was waiting for my food I went to the Panera website where I found an entire page of vegan options and breads I could have chosen from. I haven't eaten Panera in years and I was excited to see what has changed and how Panera as a company is keeping up with the demands of customers as most people are more health conscious these days and more people are caring about the imprint they are leaving on the world. I've been a service industry professional for 18 years, in management for 10 and it's SO important that the staff is properly educated on all nutritional needs and allergens of customers. Customers will come in asking questions and nothing is more frustrating than getting blank stares and "I think so" answers. There is absolutely no excuse for not knowing the terms and what ingredients are vegetarian and vegan. It's not rocket science. Please train your staff. It's embarrassing. read more

Only reason why this Panera is missing a star is because this one is always busy, and I feel like it gets packed fast. I am spoiled now because of the new location right by my house, however, this one is near the mall and all my other shopping. I think parking is also quite hectic over hear too. Pulling a left of out here is a hassle, but a right not too bad. I enjoy this Panera over Middleburg but I love my new North Ridgeville location. And their employees are friendly and hard working. Their Mediterranean veggie sandwich is great. I love their 'you pick 2' option as well, and their selection of unique 'hole-less' bagels and scrumptious pastries for breakfast. However, I have to hold back at least a star due to the fact that I often find their coffee machines and cream and milk dispensers empty. How hard is it to have an employee making sure that coffee and cream is available, especially during morning busy hours where customers rely on their java fix?! The coffee at all Coveli owned Paneras is terrible. It is so weak that you can hardly taste it. Add a bit of creamer to give it body and it will taste like warm milk instead of coffee. I used to by their country meiche white bread but they stopped selling it. Another hot selling bread at the holidays was the Italian Panettone bread. Best ever. Oh yeah, they stopped selling that too. Bagels, they add soy to all thier breads including Bagels. Not sure why. Nothing on the menu is organic. Everything is GMO. ...and they don't care. While everyone else does customer surveys, they don't want know what you think. The managers are terrified to tell thier superiors What customers complain about because they know they will be fired. I wrote customer service and they blew me off. I then managed to get the phone number and they just said I need to speak to the local manager. Messed up ! The atmosphere is pleasant, the employees are friendly and very helpful. My problem is with management. I frequently stop at various Panera's to buy bread and coffee and I'm usually stopping around 7:30 am, only one hour after they open. I don't understand how they can be sold out of Asiago bread most of the time? Yesterday, I stopped at the North Olmsted Panera's at 7:30 and sure enough, the Asiago bread was sold out. So, I placed an order for the following day for two loaves, to be picked up at the same time. I went in there on Sunday, told them that I was here to pick up an order. They were searching for the order sheet that seems to have been misplaced or lost. After finding the lost order; they gave me the last two loaves of Asiago that were in the rack, but I could tell that they were not in reserve, which is unfortunate for anybody else who wanted Asiago bread for the rest of that day. The problem isn't with the employees but rather the management for not properly over seeing the operations. I will continue to buy bread from Panera's but from now on, I will drive out of my way for a loaf of bread. Replace the manager with someone more qualified! read more
