Ordered for a curbside pickup at 5 pm. Arrived promptly at 5 and tapped "I'm here" in the email as instructed. Waited until 5:25 and finally donned my mask and went into the restaurant. My food had been sitting there for at least 20 minutes and supposedly I was to enter the make and model of my car in order for someone to bring it out to me. Note I am the only car in the pick up spots...not to mention there was nowhere for me to enter the make and model of my car. In fact, the email scolded me for indicating I was there when I did it a second time. The icing on the cake was the horrible attitude of the server when I asked why no one brought it out. This review is after much frustration and disappointment with the store located in Hampton. The food is good, but the service and attention to detail are consistently sub par at this location. Repeatedly, online orders or "to go" orders are missing elements or altogether incorrect. Employees seem aloof and could care less that you have to correct them (and spend more time in the store) about your order. Generally, for me it has been items missing from my online orders or signature items missing key elements (i.e. the chicken avocado salad that was ordered correctly but still missing the avocado). Tonight it was two separate orders that were missing the side item (chips), even though it was ordered on the receipt. The employee, who strangely enough has been there on the line when my previous orders were wrong, just stated, "Whoa, glad you caught that Ma'am" and offered no apology. Gee, I'm glad I caught it too, since I'm spending my hard earned money here and you don't take enough pride/care in your job to do it correctly. The only reason I checked the online orders before I left, is because this is my standard practice now at this store, to ensure I'm getting the correct order. My advice is to dine in or avoid this store after 6pm. Clearly the competent manager and employees only work day shift. Unfortunately, this is the closest Panera, so it would probably be easier just to avoid going there from now on. Quick update: went to eat after writing this review. Two chicken avocado salads (bagged separately) but both receipts were signed off by the same employee. One salad missing avocado. See what I mean. Ordered curbside pick up. When I got to Panera I checked in on the app and it said my order was ready, however I waited for over 10 min for someone to bring my food out. I could tell that it wasn't busy and it was only 8-8:10pm. After waiting for over 10 min I went inside and asked the person behind the counter where the orders come up about my order she said oh sorry it's time to close so we got busy doing stuff to close. I took my bag and left. Before I left I checked and the hours of operation are til 9pm. I'm in the food industry I've never done closing sidework and left HOT food sitting there. On top of all of that, when I got home my order wasn't even correct! It wasn't just they forgot one thing they didn't even put all of the ingredients that normally come with the sandwich. I would have never paid for a sandwich like I received. This is subpar standards for Panera and I'm very disappointed not only in the customer service but the quality control of the food. We have been going to this location since it was built and have seen a steady decline in our overall satisfaction due to a variety of issues. For this visit we went during a weekend evening. Firstly the female bathroom has gotten worse over time with lack of toilet paper, soap and the level of cleanliness is terrible. The carpet was also in desperate need of being vacuumed...visible food and trash. One of us got a coffee-it was only warm and tasted like it had been sitting for a long time.Then there were no stirrers so had to use a large plastic straw (should be providing paper straws), and there was no stevia. One of us got the mac-n-cheese and it too was only warm, with the cheese not fully melted with globs of cheese. read more

The only reason I ever go to Panera is for the bread bowls. They're the best thing on the menu and I feel a staple for the chain. I started coming to this place because the Starbucks across the street was always packed when I got out of class. When I first walked in I immediately said this was my new coffee spot. The colors of the restaurant are the first things that you notice. It has a soft yet vibrant color scheme that makes you feel relaxed yet not sleepy. The service has been consistently fast but not rushed and the food is made to order. The wifi is great as well and with the comfortable seating you can spend hours doing homework or just surfing the web. Just remember during lunch time they have a 30min time limit on the wifi. I usually get the smokehouse turkey panini but I've tried other things and haven't had anything gross...except the eggs but I hate eggs so in that I'm biased. Enjoy read more

This location is always a hit or miss and very poorly managed this will be the 2nd time in 4 visits where they run out of something while I'm waiting on my order. I'm a chef it is not hard to anticipate when you're about to be out of something. They are consistently unprepared so it seems.... But with this being the only panera bread in a 10 mi radius what are you going to do. And in the process of me getting a refund because they didn't have an acceptable vegan soup option available they charged me for that order a 2nd time. What an awful Panera. Every time I go the kiosks are never working. Today I went and out of the three kiosks two of them had signs that said "broken" so I used the kiosk without a broken sign. After I placed my order and tried swiping my card several times it didn't work. This is not the first time this has happened. I then go up to the counter to place my order and let them know the kiosk is broken and the worker said okay. As I was leaving Panera with my order I noticed someone else using the kiosk that I just tried. I don't understand why Panera wouldn't put a sign on it stating it's broken instead of letting other customers place their order just to figure out when it's time to swipe your card it doesn't work. I found this Panera really confusing. If you have never been in a Panera your lost. No one really helps. I ordered something they said it had to come with an egg or chicken. So I got the vegetable soup and it had to come with pesto in it. I'm allergic to nuts and when I asked if it came with nuts she was annoyed Then I asked her for something to drink and she gave me a cup and said just take it. So I wandered around until I found the pick up area and drink area. Finally a gentleman helped me find the water button. You know what if your a Panera fan maybe it's alright. I eat Panera at least once a week since I work close by. Never ever had a issue with them. I replied to a couple of surveys indicating my experiences and I never heard back from the store.
