I'll let the pictures speak for themselves as far as the quality of the food and drinks served here. Everything from the apps and drinks, to the steaks and mains were top notch. Perfectly cooked juicy steaks, up there with the best of the best in the area. You won't go wrong with anything off of this menu, and the bartenders know what they're doing with delicious cocktails. In this review, I really want to emphasize the absolutely picture perfect patio they offer. First off, the interior space is large and beautiful. From the main dining room, to the large bar, and even the 2nd floor dining area. And then feast your eyes on the large wrap around patio, with an added separate bar and covered area as well. There are maybe a handful of great patio dining experiences in Greensboro that aren't on a main busy street or facing a parking lot. And those are great, but few and far in between. This patio stands with the best of them. No busy street. No loud parking lot. A raised area with flowing water, lush greenery and even a serene fountain that all surround this wrap around and elevated patio. Just an excellent experience for drinks, food, friends and family, or all of the above. We enjoy bellying up to a bar for drinks and happy hr, we enjoy going to places for a few apps, and we also enjoy tasty food and the whole experience. They also have a little seasoning area with a water dispenser available. Alcohol and soda type drinks are all in coolers up front. Canned or bottled so no refills. Doesn't bother me, just something to note. They also have desserts up front like cannolis and cheesecake. It was a little pricy at $37 per person and we had about 10 people. First, let me say that Zee, the owner and chef, is one of the most welcoming restaurateurs you'll ever meet. He not only prepares amazing food but also takes the time to personally greet his guests, making you feel like family the moment you walk in. We started with the Hummus and Fresh Flatbread, and it was absolutely outstanding, fresh, creamy, and full of flavor. Next came the Börek (Ground Beef and Feta Cheese). Think of it as the best, most flavorful "egg roll" you've ever had, but with authentic Turkish flair. Simply delicious! I had the Bugu Kebabi, served in a clay plate with red onions and tomatoes. Sealed with baked bread. I'm usually not a lamb person, but when Zee explained that the lamb is marinated for hours in an onion-based broth, I decided to step outside my comfort zone. I'm so glad I did! The lamb was incredibly tender and packed with flavor. The presentation was also unique and memorable, with the delicate thin bread cut open right at the table. It was more than enough for my daughter and me to share. My wife ordered the Beyti Kebab, is a Turkish dish consisting of ground beef, grilled on a skewer and served wrapped in lavash and topped with yogurt sauce and butter sauce. Every single bite was bursting with amazing flavors. Another outstanding dish! All the desserts are to die for, many are imported from Turkey. Before you leave, don't miss the opportunity to enjoy an authentic Turkish Coffee, Turkish Wines, or a Turkish Beers to complete the experience. If you're looking for a restaurant that offers healthy, authentic, delicious, and very reasonably priced food, Zeeyum Kitchen should absolutely be on your list. It had turkey, shaved parmesan, marinated cherry tomato, house-made Caesar dressing, onion, and romaine lettuce in an 8" sandwich roll. It was a little pricey at $15, but it was worth the splurge. The dressing and parmesan cheese were unbelievable! Since this is in downtown Greensboro, there is no dedicated parking lot but we easily found street parking nearby. The food quality was a bit different & my rice could've been cooked a bit longer. I didn't taste the honey flavor that was advertised for this bowl. I was excited for the combination of flavors but did not enjoy this dish overall. The staff was moving a bit slower despite only one person being in line before me. My friend had to repeat her order and toppings a few times. There were customers dining in but the noise level inside was not overwhelming. Because I've had some good experiences here before, I will come back again. Granted it was just an off day of service overall.
