This place used to be the berries! USED to be. I stop by several times a week on my way to work and was excited to see the drive through. But in recent months the slide has been noticeable. There are a few people who work the drive through and inside, which knock it out of the park, cheers to them... but their inept or uninterested counterparts leave a lasting impression and detract from the others hard efforts. Incorrectly filled orders, not want to check if you have certain breads, bagels or soufflés available, giving wrong items. Two bottoms come out when you order one bagel (this happens often with the asiago and cinnamon ones - the best parts never come out?!). I've had enough; you get my opinion, a sad faced review and a promise to spend my money elsewhere. I hate sharing sad opinions but I accounted for the fact that we all have bad days. Here, the bad days have become the norm. Listen - I like this place, I like that its in my neighborhood, I like the food. I want it to be here. It can be better. Fix your problems and I'll amend my review, maybe come back and visit. read more

I've never had a bad experience at a Panera Bread...and I still haven't. I've been to this one quite a few times to dine or to get a coffee to work and use their free wi-fi. The last time I came, I had their steak chopped salad...which was pretty AMAZING. Their whole-grain baguettes are pretty great as well. Yeah, I really like this place. It's as if Starbucks and a Subway had a kid, and taught it the art of artisan bread baking and next level cafe chefing Yeah, I like this place... read more

Even though they were short staffed; they worked as fast as they could and were polite getting us our food.

I bought a loaf a white bread and the store didn't put a twist tie on the bread, it fell out of the bag and when I called the store manager, she said we are NOT required to put one on and had a SNOTTY attitude, didn't offer to replace it either. I can't wait until the bakery is open later this week so I don't have to deal with this this poorly run store. read more

Food was good as always. However, the pickle they gave us must have been picked out of the trash. It was so dehydrated and limp but I gave it a try anyway. Flavor was AWFUL! Definitely cemented my theory that it was picked from the trash read more

Panera Bread - Sandwiches Near Me - Frankfort, Illinois

This Panera bread is absolutely horrible. They're literally out of bread. I think they need to take "bread" out of their name if they can't give me a bread bowl with my Mac and cheese. I also ordered a broccoli and cheddar soup and they completely ignored my request. Do not go here if u want a good experience. I do not recommend. Maybe hit up the chipotle next door instead. read more

I stopped in at 6:40 am before work. I order 2 1/2 dozen bagel with tubs of cream cheese The lady took my order and was working on my order. Meanwhile one lady leaned against the counter and watched, two others (one appeared to be a manager) talked abouT Christmas presents. Not once did anyone offer to help as she ran for cream cheese because the frig was emptied. She did ask for someone to get a specific bagel and they brought back the wrong one. The lack of customer service. I spoke to the lady who was dressed like a manger. All she could say was she never asked for help, if you have a customer standing there waiting why would she have to ask. I won't be back I drive past a Panera in the way to work. I won't mind driving a few miles more. read more

I had to go back a few weeks ago just out of curiosity. Still a dump, same thing, kids on their phones instead of helping customers, bathrooms disguising and I am quite sure one kid making food did not have gloves on. Go to 7-11 and get a hot dog before going here! read more

Dealing with this particular location requires the patience of a Saint. The management here is crazy awful. The place is generally littered, generally dirty, and always out of items. It's been 6 months or so since my last bad experience here so I thought I'd swing by for the most basic, least likely to disappoint of all Panera items; BAGELS. They had TWO! Ok, I'll get a loaf of bread I thought -- sold out. But the real shocker was the attitude of the manager. Annoyed, apathetic and completely disinterested in displaying anything resembling customer care. She said they were out of items because of the weather (42 degrees and rainy), what did I want her to do she said, she had no bread to bake. I suggested she have a token coupon to offer so that customers would feel appreciated. She looked at me like I was nuts. The customer experience at this location always disappoints. Always. read more

Panera Bread - Sandwiches Near Me - Frankfort, Illinois

Ordered soup over the phone for pick up at drive thru. I think Stacy, the lady on the phone who took my order, couldn't have been nicer or more patient. Everything was ready and soup was great as usual. Woman at drive up very nice. Wish I could thank in person. Not feeling well and needed this today. read more

Maryellen was excellent and made sure that me and my kids had everything we needed! Delicious!

This place was crawling! They had our food within ten minutes. I ordered a salad with the dressing on the side. It came with the dressing on. The manager redid it and refunded my money without me asking. So nice! read more

Our bus boy/food runner ALEX was on top of his game, and was very polite. Not to often you see a young kid actually care about his job. You guys better hold onto him. read more

I have not been to this location in several months. This morning I stopped in for breakfast. At the register I see several sign that they are out of cream cheese. How is a bagel place out of cream cheese??? So I settle on a soufflé. I stand at the register for several minutes. There are several employees behind the register that seem to be filling catering orders. Someone finally takes my order. When I get my soufflé it it cold. Had to ask them to warm it up. I will never go here again!! read more

What is panera bread? Let me tell you, it's over priced and subpar, nothing else. I feel like a bag of chips half a sandwich and a tiny bowl of Mac and cheese should taste like rainbows and unicorn farts if it costs ten dollars. For me to pay this much for shitty food I should be able to walk in naked, have the employees feed me, bang the managers wife, and then have a parade thrown in my honor. read more

This is the worst Panera around! We go here all the time and up until probably 6 months ago or so it was a good Panera. BUT, I don't know what they changed but it has gone downhill big time. They run out of bread a lot, they take FOREVER to bring the food and they screw it up a lot. The salads have gone downhill too. Skimpier portions and just weak in general. We keep saying we will try "just once more time" but are consistently disappointed/frustrated. We used to go at least once a week and now we avoid it. This is a real bummer because I used to love it :( Tonight my friend called me all ticked about how they screwed up her to-go order AND were out of all bread and that reminded me I keep meaning to yelp them, read more

I really like Panera but his one operates differently. First of all they offer no discounts for safety personnel while others I have visited do. Secondly, I was encouraged to use the kiosk although I found out I had a 5 dollar certificate for "online" orders only. I said well the use of the kiosk is online but the lady server disagreed. Isn't it the same concept to help them avoid a long line?? Anyway the service was comparably good as the others but I'm not prepared to revisit this one soon. read more

I already wrote off the Tinley Park Panera do to their inconsistency with ingredients, salad sizes and extremely slow service. It should not take 20+ minutes to make a salad on a not so business time period and than still mess it up by not providing correct ingredients. Use to love Panera but they are just really bad now. I confirmed today the Frankfort IL location is just as bad as the Tinley Park IL location. Will never visit another Panera stored since it seems to be an issue with Panera in general, not just poor management at one specific store. Worst part of this, is they just give you partial orders and expect you will just accept it instead of telling you before charging you for the meal they are out of specific ingredients. read more

Very nice and respectful employees! Very helpful and inviting will return to this location!

I usually love panera bread as it's always been my favorite place to eat. The last two times I've gone there they were out of bread bowls and my favorite soup, broccoli cheddar. Today I came to get soup and they were out of almost EVERY soup except some squash soup and tomato. Clearly management cannot keep up with inventory or just has no clue how to run a store because such a popular place which is known for their soup should not have customers walking out. Not only did I walk out but there was two other people that expressed their annoyance about driving to get soup and then having to leave to go somewhere else. read more

By far the worst one I've been to. I mostly order the same set of items. You pick 2 tomato soup and turkey artichoke sandwich plus hot tea. To start things off the guy who took my order seemed to either that've trouble operating the register, didn't know what a sandwich is, or is just unfit to be employed. It took a whole 5 minutes to ring up my order and him asking me 3 different times what I wanted to get it right. Then for some crazy reason I was still standing there with no ticket. After the whole debacle, I head over to pick up my order only to find that both he an I had forgotten my tea. To make matters worse i ended up with 2 soups and no sandwich. Honestly, come on, who on earth orders 2 small soups to pay more than ordering 1 regular size soup for less. Get it together. When I alerted the staff of the mistake, they were equally unhelpful. No apology, just snide remarks. When I did finally get my sandwich, it looks nothing like the same sandwich I've been eating for the past 4 years. Barely any turkey, they didn't put any artichokes in it (its an artichoke sandwich) you'd think they'd remember the key ingredient. Lol. It's not all bad. Good thing is, I don't live here and will never have to come back to this location again. Honestly, it doesn't get any simpler than sandwich preparation. read more

Okay my review on Panera Bread is stuck between an "A-Okay" and a "Yay I'm a fan". Some visits and items are "A-Okay" and then other visits and items are "Yay I'm a fan." Today I will go with "Yay I'm a fan." I ordered the Mac n Cheese, which is normally out of this world good. The noodles and cheese are sooo thick and creamy and this dish is always so filling. It quenches my Mac n Cheese craving. But the extremely friendly and helpful server Denise said it was too early and not ready yet. So I tried for the Black Bean soup dish. Another strong item at this Panera Bread location. It usually quenches my Cuban craving. But again the very sweet and courteous Denise said that the Black Bean soup was also not ready yet. So I decided on a sandwich instead. I ordered the Tuna Salad with lettuce, tomato, light mayo on Honey Wheat bread that came with chips. This is a light tasting sandwich that does not leave you with that heavy tummy feeling. The mayo is light without the tuna being dry. The chips seemed baked instead of fried. For my drink I ordered the low fat Mango smoothie. I do love my smoothies, especially the mango flavor. My wife ordered a Bacon, Egg and Cheese breakfast sandwich. We both thought this was just "A-Okay". It was a bit on the greasy side with only two strips (I know only two) of bacon on the sandwich. Maria also ordered a Grande tea, which she finished in Panera and had a refill of Coffee on the way out. Our total bill came to roughly $16 dollars. Again the service was very friendly. The place is also very clean, well stocked and maintained. I do not know if all Paneras are the same but my wife and I do think that the Frankfort Panera is one of the better restaurants in their chain. read more

I love Panera, and I have never had a problem at this one. But, I believe that this Panera is in need of a renovation. It's just not that cozy. read more

This place is fantastic, I go here quite often, tonight I had the soup, broccoli and cheddar, and 1/2 chicken and bacon sandwich, with iced tea. all of this for only $9.39 This place is always spotless, the people are friendly and the food is great, read more

I don't know what has happened to Panera, but it has truly become a very mediocre place to dine. The food is just "okay." It is most certainly not as bustling and crowded as it was in the past, either. With the lack of casual dining options in our area, this becomes all the more disappointing. What gives, Panera? read more

It takes forever to get your food at this location. .. extremely slow!!! Not very clean either. The food is typical Panera-ok sandwiches, cheesy paninis. read more

Waited in drive thru for 25 minutes. Very unorganized, was asked to repeat the order 3 times. Order was still wrong. Never again can't see this location staying in business read more

My chicken noodle soup was not even filled. One or two half broken noodle pieces. Never again . Quiznos here I come.

I have one word for this place, TRASH. Why the fuck do they rip people off so obviously?! I got mac and cheese with a drink and it was almost 10 bucks. BUT, it was the smallest size. Are you kidding? I inhaled the entire meal in 2 minuets, and I was still fucking starving. Panera bread has gone too far, and I'm tired of being belittled by them. They demonstrate capitalism at its worst and this is why I'm a god damn socialist. I'm tired of HUGE corporate fucks like the CEOs of Panera living off of my money when I don't even get my money's worth from their shitty food!! I'm sorry, am I a god damn peasant?? Am I a fucking fool?? This place is immoral, and I'll be damned to EVER let this happen to me again. I would give this place a 3/10...would not bang. Don't waste your money, go to the chipotle next door. They know how to fuck me up (in a good way). read more

My two favorite things on the menu are just removed- soba noodle bowl and French onion soup!

This Panera IS always out of something that I'm ordering and my order is missing something. This place needs some better management that can make coming to this location better. I'd rather drive to Tinley or Bourbonnais to grab Panera read more

I've been to a few locations in the south burbs and they're all great! A little pricey for a quick bite, but sooooo worth it!

Food is consistent and average. Problem seems to be the same continuously and is referenced in others reviews as well. Services are lacking and almost always understaffed. As I stand in line with 3 or 5 or more people behind me waiting I look at the 5 registers sitting idle and only 1 in use and 3 people walking around useless doing nothing. Last time I stood in line I watched 2 other couples walk out because it was so slow. I really do like Panera and the food is definitely better than fast food but I really wish this location could get it together. read more

The staff and manager are always helpful and friendly and the food is fresh and delicious. The other day I ordered online and used Rapid Pay. When I went in to pick up my order they were out of the pastry I wanted but the manager substituted it with a Cherry, Apple & Cheese Pastry Ring and a bag of small scones for no additional cost. Actually, I came out ahead! This Pastry Ring is a new family favorite. read more

This location is not very clean. The tables were dirty no employee was wiping down tables. The tables sat dirty for the 45 minutes that I was there. They got my order wrong. The bread bowl portions are not worth the money at all! You get like 4 ounces of soup in the bread bowl. I will definitely not be back. It is not worth your money for the size of the portions you get for the soup. read more

My family was robbed at this location. The manager was having a little attitude. The manager would even let the police see the security footage. On the same day it took about 10-15 minutes to get or food. I will most likely never go to a Panera ever again after this experience. read more

I seriously think this Panera has the worst management in the history of fast food, literally every time I order the food / order is wrong. Do not go here or check your order every time or you will be sorry. This has been going on since they opened. read more

Ordered via rapid pick up so I could take my time going over the menu. I have to avoid wheat when possible, though small amounts don't bother me. I chose a bowl that is served with quinoa rather than noodles. When I got home, I found soba noodles (contains wheat) in place of the quinoa. So I paid $10 for something I can't eat. Won't be going back. read more

Unfortunately they are 0-2 with getting my orders correct. I have used the rapid pickup both times and still the orders were wrong. Food has been tasty, but a bit of a hassle when you order ahead, and pay, but then need to go back to the counter to get orders straight. Went again and pre ordered again, but went inside and they didn't have the order ready because they were out of cheese pastry. read more
