The person that greeted us acted like he really didn't want to be there and was doing us a favor. When I asked about a particular sandwich he threw his hand up and said the board explained it. I ordered it, it was the grilled chicken avocado sandwich on sourdough bread. My husband ordered the grilled chicken breast with BBQ sauce. When we got our sandwiches, my husband's was very small but towered over his and then I found out why. I flipped 1/2 of my sandwich over and lifted the bread and a quarter of the sandwich was "spring greens " then the rest of the sandwich consisted of some chicken breast, 2 tiny slices of avocado, 1 half slice of Swiss cheese and 2 slices of all roma tomatoes. The sourdough bread was stale and the crust was so tough I couldn't bite through it and chew it. Between my husbands grilled chicken sandwich and my "grilled chicken avocado sandwich " we paid over $30 for 2 of the worst sandwiches I have ever eaten. This restaurant seems to not care about their customers, they just slap something together and give it out. WE CERTAINLY WILL NOT BE COMING BACK TO THIS RESTAURANT. Man at the drive through window was extremely rude. He told us to have our order ready before we started ordering so we did, only to be told they were out of 2 of the 3 items we wanted, no big deal. We told him "ok no worries, just a second." (Because they were out of a bunch of things.) He then got upset and said "Don't order until you know your full order." Oh my soul! I'd rather stub my toe 5 times in a row than come back to this Panera location. Not because the customer service was terrible, but because it was so. damn. busy. the day I came to pick up a large order. Literally no parking spaces available in their lot, and they have a LARGE parking lot. I pulled in to one of the curbside spaces, checked in, waited..and waited...and waited. I decide to move into the drive-thru line (that was wrapping around the building) only to realize being in the drive-thru line was worse than waiting in a parking space. I park my car and physically go inside to retrieve my order. I get inside and to my relief the line is moving pretty fast. My turn is up and I hand the employee the receipt for my online order. The order had been ready and waiting to be picked up, but no one told this employee who was somehow supposed to inform me. UGH. At this point the food had been sitting for who knows how long. My 11:55 am pick up turned into me leaving at 12:25. I peek inside the bag before leaving to see if the sandwiches are marked. Whew. They are. Well, some of them... I get back to my office and start separating the meals for my co-workers when I realized that the hot sandwiches were NOT marked at all. Clearly different employees were assembling cold and hot sandwiches. Me being the COVID conscious person I am immediately started freaking out because I didn't want to have to handle 7 different hot sandwiches in a quest to find who had what. I had 14 orders to separate and Panera got them all correct. big points for that. I'm glad because there's no way I could have rechecked the order before leaving the restaurant, nor did I want to return because something was missed. This whole experience was frustrating and I have no plans whatsoever to return. I'm sure Panera is understaffed like everyone else and this visit came just a few days before a major holiday. After an appointment my family member wanted to stop there... I knew I had to get a bread bowl WITH broccoli cheddar. Yes - even in the middle of summer. It was so delicious, smooth, and creamy. The bread bowl had enough crisp externally with a softness within. Normally I get a 2 part "pick your own" thinking I'm saving some money or getting a good deal. I won't lie and say I'm good at math, however I've realized this hasn't exactly been a great deal as I thought. Which brings me to prices. The food is very good, but WOW is it expensive. It's a fast food comparison to other sit down places (more formal?) with the same $$$ price tag. The concept of this location is confusing if you're there for the first time, and the cashiers done exactly check to make sure you know what you're doing. I stoped here on they way to chicago. clean and cozy interior. good food. they are located relatively close to the highway so its easy to get on and off. Ive ordered Baja Bowl, food was ready pretty quick less than 5 min. It maybe little more expensive but Panera bread is definitely better than any greacy fast food along the freeway. The cashier who helped us didn't seem to know anything about the sandwiches or the ingredients in them. They were really slow so the line was really long and just was not moving fast enough for what this place seems to be offering as a "cafeteria" style restaurant. Most of the staff here are helpful and friendly. The people on the register are usually patient. The people calling out the food and working in the kitchen..(I don't know if it was the one time) but they weren't very nice when I needed to ask a question about the ready food. But overall, food is pretty good and the wait on the food isn't very long! One thing that could improve is the cleanliness of the place. Many tables were dirty with food particles multiple different times I was there. The frontega chicken panini, tomato soup, new england clam chowder, and the greek salad are my favorites! read more

To be fair, I will give a brief review of both this cafe in particular and how it compares to the quality of food from other chain locations. I actually was surprised how fast they opened this location. Was open within a week after seeing the Panera signs go up on the side of the building. My first impression was that the registers were cramped and uncomfortable. There was 4 registers within a total counter area of about 6ft. In a busy day people will be shoulder to shoulder creating a stressful environment. Staff was still learning, but very courteous. Food came out under 10 mins. There appears to be a NEW feature with this location I have not seen before. A cubbyhole apparatus next to the food pickup counter makes me believe panera is trying to move into the order online or via mobile and pick it up when it's ready type of market. It's alphabetized by name. I will try this feature soon. There's also a LCD screen that keeps track of who's order is being prepared and who's order is ready for pickup. Might be handy during busy hours. Again, I haven't seen this at other locations as well. Seating is pretty normal. Not as cozy of a vibe as some other locations. I recommend studying/leisure at the Caribou coffee location down the street if you like comfortable environments. Got the BBQ chicken flatbread with cheddar broccoli. Really enjoyed the food and didn't have any problems. Seems to be the same quality as any other chain location, although it was my first panera flatbread. Not rave worthy, but certainly still a very good option for tasty and healthier food within the area. Will update breakfast experiences soon. Hope this helped! 3.5/5 stars read more

Really there is nothing speical about this place. They definitely have done some good things with their ordering system and integration of mobile app ordering for pick up etc. Food choices have remained similar for long time, most of the choices are healthy and delicious. They have introduced a few new things which are not really a game changer for this chain (quinoa bowls etc.). They certainly have good bagels and breads but a little expensive for the quality. I use their soup and sandwich combo for a healthy meal and then regret spending too much money for the quality and quantity. read more

As a Panera fan, it pains me to give this location only three starts. On the four times I have visited, it has been mid-morning (about 9:30-10) Each time, they have been our of souffles, there have been emplty coffee urns and no one has felt compelled to correct the coffee issue. I love Panera and the healthier options they offer, but I have learned that I must visit much earlier in the morning to find coffee ready to drink. read more

I don't have a car so I sometimes use Order Up to get food here. On the rare occasion that I get what I ordered, it's very delicious. However, my order is usually missing something and often the sandwich I like is either lacking key ingredients or the employees didn't bother to follow my instructions when I modify it. This also happens when I can eat at the restaurant but at least then I can have it fixed. The staff really needs to be better trained at reading instructions and double checking everything the customer paid for is given to them. read more

The given stars at this location are right on. I was looking forward to a pleasant experience but found disappointment. The customer service is lacking immensely. When standing in line, they don't greet you to welcome you to order. They stare at you with indifference - no smile, nothing. I ordered a couple different pastries (soufflé and pastry) and the guy didn't even separate them with those little bags they use. The latest time I went to this location (and I vow, the LAST) I had ordered for curbside "Rapid" pick-up. After waiting for 25 minutes, and having received a text from the store that my order was ready to be picked up, I finally grabbed by baby from the back and lugged her inside to talk to a manager. I go to Panera quite often, was in town and decided to stop in. My son received a very sad pickle and didn't want to eat it, I told him to go ask for another and pictured is what he received. I then went up to ask about the sad pickle situation and Robbie the manager asked me if I wanted another, the third was even worse.
