I love Panera but lately the quality of the food has gone down (maybe it's just this location, not sure) I got the garden avo and egg white sandwich sub sourdough, Not only it was small but the egg whites were dry/overcooked, the tiny slice of avocado was rotten and there was avocado peel in the sandwich. Very disappointing! read more

Panera Bread - Sandwiches Near Me - Beltsville, Maryland

I visited this Panera Bread around 11:30 a.m. hoping to order breakfast, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. When we walked in, we stood at the counter for several minutes without anyone greeting us or asking if we needed assistance. The only employee visible was a woman at the front who was focused on throwing away breakfast items. She never looked up or acknowledged that customers were waiting. Eventually, I walked over and asked if breakfast was still being served. She simply replied, "No." As I was speaking with her, I watched her remove three breakfast quiches from the display, place them into a bag, and throw them away. She then took down the breakfast signs. It was frustrating because Panera could have sold those quiches instead of discarding them while customers were actively asking for breakfast. A simple response such as, "Breakfast has ended, but these are the last quiches we have available if you're interested," would have been much better customer service. I also noticed another customer had the same experience. He had to walk over to the employee because she never acknowledged anyone waiting at the counter. I don't know why we were ignored or whether there was another reason, but the lack of acknowledgment and customer service was concerning. After the interaction, I no longer felt comfortable ordering food that was being prepared by someone with that attitude, so I left without making a purchase. I hope management reviews this situation and reminds employees that greeting customers and offering basic assistance can make a significant difference in the overall experience. read more

Panera Bread - Is the Panera Bread and Beltsville Maryland. Unfriendly environment. - Sandwiches Near Me - Beltsville, Maryland

This panera is all about doing the minimum. There's trash on the ground, the floor is sticky and there's barely any steak on sandwich. In a place where human interaction is a minimum I would hope that the food and the dining area was good and clean but that's not the case here. The wake and steak sandwich barely had any steak on the sandwich. This may be the standardized amount in which case, it needs to be increased. The wake and steak sandwich is already the most expensive item on the breakfast menu and it's not better than anything else. The bagels remain the best item somehow. Maybe the bagels have less in house prep? Avoid the wake and steak or be disappointed. read more

"Bill, help me!" Jo (played by Helen Hunt) yelled as she attempted to retrieve each individual, meteorological sensor that had spilled onto the road from an electric pole being brought down onto his truck's tailgate by the violent tornado. Several minutes later, after Jo had once again climbed out of the truck, sprinted to collect the sensors, and begged for Bill's help, Bill (played by Bill Paxton) responded, "When's it going to be enough, huh? How close do you have to get? Talk to me!" Bill placed his hands on Jo's shoulders. "Jo, things go wrong. You can't explain it, you can't predict it. Killing yourself won't bring your Dad back." Bill paused before his next words reverberated over the live CB that had been left on for the others to monitor their safety. "Sorry that he died, but it was a long time ago...you gotta move on! Stop living in the past, and look what you got right in front of you." "What are you saying?" Jo asked. "Me, Jo." In the pouring rain, the most eccentric member of Jo's crew, Dusty, attempted in vain to hold the umbrella over Bill's fiancé, Melissa, who understood, for the first time, that she had lost Bill, to the chase, to the tornadoes, and to his ex. With climatological research showing Tornado Alley inching slowly eastward and southward, what quick breakfast and lunch destination in Beltsville, Maryland could provide sustenance for Jo's crew, culinary consolation for the disappointed but not quite heartbroken Melissa, and a celebratory salve for Jo and Bill, a couple once again? The answer is the 10914 Baltimore Avenue location of Panera, whose chef and staff ensure each day that the Sausage and Egg Cinnascrambles, the Ciabatta Cheesesteaks, the Toasted Frontega Chicken Sandwiches, and the Smokehouse BBQ Chicken Sandwiches are both scrumptious and reassuring, or whichever you happen to need more. read more

Always on point and relatively healthy. Great autumn squash soup. Nice fresh salads as well.

Very good menu and service is good. They need to replenish their condiments at the coffee bar and there are no utensils at the drink table. I had to ask for one but service was great. read more

Lacks hospitality. I ordered something to eat and I wanted to just be able to put a scoop of greek yogurt on the side (nothing too complex, I've done it before multiple times for other customers when I used to work there and I have been capable of getting it done before as well for my own order) keep in mind I was not begging either I asked to purchase this sauce container size of greek yogurt....Manager Lady told me it was not possible, they had "no way of ringing it up"... Almost as if "A la carte" is not an option... Anyway I told her she can just charge me for something and I will pay for it that way, (charge me for avocado, a egg, or even a bread) but she was really persistent on making sure I could not get it.. minor inconveniences like this makes it so hard to get food your 100% satisfied with. Cashier was lovely though and Ibrahim is a GREAT manager apart from that. read more

This is another restaurant with really good customer service, definitely worth noting because they are always efficient, especially in the mornings when we're all trying to speed off to work. I had the blueberry muffin which was soft and moist, and a large iced coffee - my morning go to. They always keep the line moving so I am never late to work. I appreciate this so much! This Beltsville location Panera has the best seating layout over others in PGC. Good layout deserves the second star. The first is for simply staying open. Since this location opened I went from a 3X a week customer to zero a week customer. The biggest reasons I pass up going to the Beltsville Panera is due to the very POOR: PARKING *simply put-very challenging to impossible* SKIMPY PORTIONS *pull apart the bread find 1/4 to 1/3 half stuffed* ATTENTION TO DETAIL IN FOOD PREP *sloppy/incorrect* LOWER QUALITY INGREDIENTS *black avocado, rock hard tomatoes* VERY HIGH PRICES *wow cheap lunch for $20! full sarcasm* BOOTH & SEATING CLEANLINESS *read below eye popper...* No parking, skimpy portions and booth seat hygiene are the worst offenders because these issues are constant. For the parking you have to either wait several minutes while driving around this narrow parking lot to see if anyone is leaving or go to the next door establishment, jump over a ravine and park at Taco Bell. This Panera COMPETES CONSTANTLY for a parking space with the 3 other businesses next to them attached to same building including the nail place AND the ALDI across the way not to mention the TD bank. We used to be able to park at the bank lot and side street but not anymore. No parking signs to be towed away now. EYE POPPER How gross is it to stand with your tray trying to find a place to sit and then to witness some guy sliding and crunching his naked feet on the booth chair across from him while he scrolls mindlessly on his computer no food nor drink near him cuz he finished an hour ago. *we asked him if he was done so we could sit and eat, and he said yeah he finished his coffee about an hour ago and was just hanging out* This guy was still there an hour after cuz that is when we left. They clean the tables but not the entire booth chairs nor side panels. YUK. Whoever wrote that there is plenty of parking was lying and whomever thinks this food is fantastic alternative over junk is delusional cuz the portions are too small, not organic and the prices are sky high. Example they charged me $8 plus tax for one grilled cheese sand. and the drink was $3.19 w/tax for a hungry 11 yr old kid. Yep, he was still hungry after. PONDER: So if I topped off the order to be around $20 for more grub that would be a hefty price for a hungry kid's lunch don't you think? AND Since they got rid of their original ham and cheese sandwich your kids are forced to order much higher priced items other than the 8 dollar grilled cheese. Not of value to parents. The Italian is a total rip off which went from several cuts to a few and lots of fluffy greens--it was changed years ago to reflect very lean portions to stay to this day and ruined the taste. Why use salad greens on a sandwich of all places, greens that fall off when you are trying to eat, why? Why change when what they used prior to was a nice leaf lettuce years ago? Stayed on your sandwich at least. Don't get me started on wrong orders, incorrect orders, etc. Ridiculous. They ruined Panera in my book. You want the truth about a place well there you have it. read more

"You pick 2". Customize my lunch, why not? Lol Needless to say, I appreciate Panera for knowing people want to pay a lunch price for good food. The Beltsville Panera never seems to be busy on the inside, but whenever I order online, I find myself waiting in my car up to 10 minutes for curbside pick up. This is after arriving and hitting the "I'm Here" button. Either way, Panera's good is solid for a healthy-ish fast food restaurant. read more

We had an issue with a door dash order where part of the order was missing. After a brief discussion with one employee, a person who identified themselves as the manager got on the phone and offered to personally drive the remaining pieces of our order to us. This Panera was clean and service was prompt. We stopped in close to the dinner hour on a Saturday night. We had been to three festivals in the area and we were beat. At first we stopped by a coffee house in Greenbelt, but it was noisy and crowded so we left and came here. Smart decision. I was a bit apprehensive when, from my window seat, I saw a motor coach pull up and a team of Goucher volleyball players bounded off. Thankfully they didn't sit near us, and we enjoyed our comfy leather chairs. I got my favorite tea, and a free bear claw, thanks to the Panera Rewards card program. Happy birthday to me! The bear claw wasn't my first choice, but they were out of my favorite scone. In fact, their pastry counter was pretty bare. The bear claw was OK, but I will stick with my scone. read more

The shopping strip is still under construction, so be cautious. I have no clue why this yuppie shop would want to be next to Aldi. Coffee is light bodied but OK Clam chowder is good, tender clams and decent thickening, but it ain't Luke's. The turkey sandwich is tasty but the filling is a bare 1/4" thick. It's totally unfair for me to review the baguette. It would be OK if you didn't know better, but I have had bread in France still warm from the oven, proof that flour, yeast, water, and heat can produce a miracle rather than a Wonder. Theirs fails in crispness of crust, texture of crumb, and flavor, matching only in the shape of the loaf. It's almost like real French bread had mated with American spitball white. Call the Committee of Public Safety and set up the guillotine! Service was almost smothering as this newbie tried to comprehend the menu. Can't see becoming a regular. read more

Steak and cheese ? More like steak and soggy bread.... This is literally disgusting where is the cheese ? I paid my good money for a good sandwich ....not for this stuff that was half burnt. This is my go to place for business lunches and professional outings. I have customers in this area and Panera is a good place to eat a lite lunch that are fast, healthy, and neutral. Nobody has issues with Panera and everyone can eat salads, soups, and sandwiches. This Panera is nice and spacious and you can usually find an open table if you want to study or open up your laptop. I usually order the Thai chicken salad along with a pick two soup or sandwich. I did try the lobster roll recently and was not a fan. If you're going to eat lobster, u got to go fresh. This Panera is located about 5-7 minutes from my job. Every now and then, I stop by to grab breakfast and lunch to go. One thing that I love about Panera is that you can grab your lunch and breakfast in the wee hours of the morning, which is perfect and prevents another trip for lunch. The food here is not bad. I went there yesterday and got the Classic Salad with Grilled Chicken and Avocado. The salad was OK. I've had better at other Panera locations. The avocado was not ripe and that was disappointing. This morning I got a Spinach and Artichoke Soufflé + Strawberry Granola Parfait. The soufflé was perfect and there was just something off about the parfait. I still cannot pinpoint what was off. I'm sure I'll stop through here again for breakfast and before I add Avocado to any salad, I'll ask them to confirm that avocado is ripe before requesting it. read more

I have been at other Panera Bread locations. Visited this location to meet someone for a business transaction. When arrived there was a long line to order so I used the kiosk to place an order and I picked up a buzzer. I found the kiosk and buzzer to be very practical and useful, until I ran into a lack of communication. When I completed my order the instructions were to pick up my food at the counter once my buzzer came on. My buzzer did come on, and I did go to the front of the store but when I told the staff I was there to pick up my order she looked at me as if my order was not ready, I showed her my buzzer was buzzing. She asked me what I ordered, I told her and she told me they did not have those pastries. A supervisor showed up and he asked me again what I had ordered, he indicated I could get up to 3 pastries to equal what I had ordered. I chose the pastries, and she gave them to me. Then the supervisor showed up and he said give her the pastries back your order is in the back (he repeated twice) I gave the staff the pastries, and he pointed to the back of the restaurant. I followed where he was pointing and even asked him.. Back there? Because it seemed to be staff only. He said yes. I saw a tray with my soup and pastries on a high counter on a again what it seemed to be a section for staff only. I was wearing a cast which goes up to my elbow, but I managed to pick up the tray and successfully/safely take it to a table. When I finally sat down I noticed I had no silverware. The restaurant was busy enough were I did not feel comfortable leaving my food on my table unwatched for. I was not going to try to pick up the tray with my cast all over again, there was staff near by, but they did not hear me. Eventually I just drank my soup. ‍ read more

I used to love Panera Bread. I'm not sure what's happened. It's been like a year since I visited one and chose Friday, Feb 24, 2017 to venture out in search of my beloved Bacon Turkey Bravo Sandwich. Imagine my disappointment when I got a sandwich with 2 deli sliced THIN sliced pieces of turkey, the thought of a piece of gouda, and more lettuce and tomatoes necessary for a sandwich. I took it back to the guys and spoke with them about the sandwich. They offered to make me something different. Then I asked them what other turkey they had. So they remade my sandwich with that roasted turkey. Sadly everything about this sandwich has changed. The SUBWAY SANDWICH SHOP meat is unacceptable. The bread is soft like Wonder bread. It used to have more substance and body. Ohhhhhhh Panera, I miss the days of old. The chips, pickles and Pepsi are still good. The main part of my meal was just sad. So why the 3 stars? Strickly for the customer service. The guys who made my sandwich were so polite and accomodating. The person at the register was friendly and made sure all my needs were met. So KUDOS to the staff. Sad face to Panera for going from hand cut meats and cheeses to deli meats and cheeses. Shame on you!!!! read more
