This was a very nice Panera. The layout was very nice. A lot of people were there working on laptops. Seems super user friendly for work or study. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. Got my good quick and it tasted great! Also love they have a drive through.

Bad on us for not calling to check because when we got there, they did not. However, the menu did have gluten free pizza, so my wife ordered that. Server hesitated and said let me check the availability. They were out of gluten free pizza. Wife ended up having to order an entree without pasta. I ordered the Seafood Trio, shrimp, clams, mussels. Server came back and said sorry we're out of mussels would you like some extra shrimp? Evidently they have issues keeping items stocked. I went ahead and said yes to the shrimp. Server asked what dressing we wanted on our salad either Italian or ranch. Yes, those are the only two options. Salads arrived and it was just romaine lettuce with one cherry tomato. Nothing else. Except I got the prize you can see in the photo. A nicely cut lettuce core. My wife had some type of chicken, coated in egg wash in lemon butter sauce. She said her's was good. The shrimp in my dish didn't appear to be seasoned in any way or grilled. Seemed to be just warmed up frozen shrimp that was very rubbery to chew. Clams were okay, very small pieces probably came out of a can. All that for $60+. The place had more of a bar vibe than a restaurant, low key decorations. We will not be returning.

The Miso dressing on the salad was bright and lip-smacking good. The rest of the salad was well-balanced. We liked the food so much we got cookies too and gobbled them before we left. Rock salt on the top of the chocolate chip was a well received reset to enjoy the melted chocolate. The cinnamon had that molasses flavor that deepens the sweet. The people are super friendly too. The husband-and-wife team behind Grist has created one of the most inventive pasta menus you'll find anywhere. It's casual--you order at the counter--but don't mistake that for ordinary dining. We started with the rosemary Parmesan focaccia and the cow's milk burrata. Both were excellent. The focaccia was simple, fresh, and perfectly executed, while the burrata was an absolute standout. For our entrées, we had the Mafalda al Agnello, Raviolo al'Uovo, Spring Pea Agnolotti, and Tonnarelli di Mare. Every pasta was handmade and beautifully prepared. The Mafalda stole the show, with wide, ruffled ribbons coated in an incredible braised lamb sauce. The Raviolo al'Uovo was unlike anything I've had before--a single oversized raviolo with remarkable flavor and a presentation that was as memorable as it was delicious. Grist is proof that great dining doesn't require white tablecloths. It simply requires talented people making exceptional food. We couldn't recommend it more.

I've had plantains in the past, but these were certainly the best I've tried. For entrees, we went with arroz con pollo and bandeja paisa which was basically an assortment platter. I was a little disappointed in the arroz con pollo. Rice was over cooked and the flavor was overall muted. For dessert, we tried obleas -- thin waffles filled with jam, caramel and cheese. The waffles weren't true waffles, but more just cracker type. Again, rather disappointing but maybe I just don't have the right taste for it. The service was excellent, and we did enjoy the appetizers. Entrees and dessert were a let down. Overall, 3 stars in my book.

When we arrived we realized it was literally next door to our hotel! Score! They were really busy, but the service was still friendly and efficient. And the food ... so good! I enjoyed an Arepa con queso and a chicken empanada while my son had the carne asada and a beef empanada. Everything was fantastic. So much food too. I especially loved the hot aji sauce that came with the empanadas - I put it on my arepa too -yum! If we are in the area again, I will definitely return.
