Folks, its a PANERA! Its the exact same food & drink as any other Panera. So as to the quality there, check any other Panera review. The cleanliness, or lack thereof as noted in other reviews, is a reflection of when you go, and if certain managers are on duty. Show up on Saturday or Sunday morning, and yeah, its likely to be a bit iffy. That's because of the lack of workerbees in the house. The few that are on duty are usually rushing like hell to take and fill orders, & fill coffee urns. No time for policing the seating area. Weeknight evenings tend to be less hectic, and maintainence is better. Restrooms are another issue, which I brought up to management both in person and in writing. Since then, a very loose toilet seat in the handicapped stall in the ladies loo has been fixed. Trash cans still overflow, and there's always water all over the place, but that goes back to lack of staff on duty at busy times. Location is good for me, which is primarily why I go there. Just don't expect the Taj Mahal if you are there. read more

I am mostly comparing this Panera to other Panera's. I will start with the good, there is definitely a very large amount of seating which is great compared to some locations. The food is usually good and they seem to have a pretty adequate supply of pastries at most times. The not so great, the place probably needs some touch ups as far as trim, paint and chairs as it's falling apart a little bit. It's hard finding an outlet if you were looking to power up a laptop or iPad. Service varies on each day but this isn't the worst location you could visit by any means. read more

Came on to grab a drink- went to get the drink and the machine fell over on me- tea went everywhere- needless to say my pants and leg were soaked- one of the staff provided me towels and said he was getting the manager- he made sure I was not hurt- I saw him talk to the manager and she NEVER came over to apologize or check on me- I guess I was not angry enough to get a response from her- i was frustrated - I sat in the store for a bit- and never once did she ever acknowledge or talk with me- they were not that busy that she could not have at least come by and say something. The food is great. The service is okay. Attention to detail is lacking. They ask every customer about their "panera card" and even have a computer that they send you to where you're supposed to register your card. That computer is so slow that you might as well stick around for your next meal. Also, when dining in I received a knife with dried food on it. I asked for another knife. The person got another knife which she checked to ensure was clean. I took the knife and it was also dirty. I gave up and wrote this review. read more

Summary: great atmosphere, terrible service. For me, atmosphere and customer service are the biggest considerations when choosing a fast-casual restaurant. The atmosphere here is great. I love the bright windows, plentiful seating, and quiet noise of the people around. However, I have never been served my meal as ordered here. I've visited half a dozen times, and every time I've had to go back to fix an order mistake. Not only that, but when I approach the staff, I am usually ignored even when I speak to them by name. wow this panera is awful. First of all, flavor is so salty! I never tasted saltier soups and mac until this location. Also their curbside service is nonexistent. Ive gone inside multiple times to get my own order. And even when doing that, I see the food in plain sight but no one listens when I point it out or they blame it on the system not notifying them. I received the skimpiest sandwich I've ever received from Panera. I'm not sure if this reflects the company as a whole, but my chipotle chicken sandwich was not nearly as good as I've had the 15+ times before. (Still good though.) P A N E R A! Was at Panera today for lunch and had a great time with Yana. We both shared a hot turkey panini and she got a french onion soup while I had the broccoli and cheddar. The food is good as always no matter what I get. I love the french bread that comes with the soup. Hard on the outside but soft in the middle. Panera also has good teas and tasty desserts like strawberry tarts, brownies, and cheese danishes. What else does Panera Bread have? Yes, you guest it, BREAD!!! A little secret for all you soda fans. Never get a large unless you plan on taking it with you, otherwise just get a small. Its free refills anyways:) Panera can sometimes get crowded but the turnover is pretty fast. We were there during the lunch rush but was able to find seats without a problem. Plus it was unbelievably warm outside, so sitting outside did cross our minds. read more

Very bright Panera location! I was here recently on official business with a guest and really enjoyed the place. It had a good vibe to it and although busy I noticed the tables were being regularly cleaned off after patrons had left them. The windows and blue sky outside made the place seem bigger than it actually is, and the room was filled with chatter and laughing - at least during my visit there. The service was quick despite there being a queue to get served, and the customer service was polite, friendly and welcoming. I would definitely keep this location in mind the next time I find myself in this part of Bailey's Crossroads. read more

On time, early actually - Food was prepared & bagged separately just like we asked & the delivery guy was super pleasant. BUT, when we actually opened the bags the orders were wrong. I do not eat meat asked for the salad to be meatless & the label on the salad even said modified but there def was chicken on it. Another co worker got the wrong order also. I've been to this Panera a number of times. Most notably the morning of my first interview for my current job (which means I will always have a soft spot for it). Honestly though, I can't say that there is really anything special about this Panera. The food is the same as just about every other location. It can get just as crowded as other locations. The thing is that unlike some other Paneras that are tucked away just a little bit from the most hectic areas, this one is in a busy shopping center looking over Leesburg Pike. This Panera is at a great location, right on Route 7. There are many shops in the area so having a fast food, but healthy option is great. It's a busy place with your "Starbucks" type customers who sit at the tables to use the wifi. It's also not always the cleanest. But that's to be expected with the "squatters". I guess that's why I don't like eating in there. I picked up the Frontega Chicken Panini which wasn't all that flavorful. I chose the apple as a side and they gave me the smallest apple I've ever seen. The meal was just okay. I was hungry and after I ate my meal I wasn't hungry anymore...so theres. that. read more

PANERA'S FRENCH TOAST BAGEL IS AWESOME!!! but their almost always sold out, so get their early for them. You can get a baker's dozen (13 bagels) for around $8. I normally get as many french toast bagels as they have with is only a few usually, and then fill up the rest with the blueberry, everything, asiago cheese, and cinnamon bagel. They are all freshly made and they will slice them all for you. They come in a large box with a handle. Panera also has great sandwiches and salads, but I normally just stop in for bagels! read more

I come often to this Panera - I always order the BBQ chicken flatbread. This time they didn't have spinach. That's fine, but when I opened there was almost no chicken, either, just a few tiny shredded pieces. I pointed out to the girl in the cook line, showing her my flat bread. Great for a Sunday afternoon study spot. Not too crowded around 3:30 and there is free wifi. Fire place is really cute and there are plenty of outlets to go around. I like their food. Their dishes are relatively healthy over all and calorie display is definitely one of the big factors of dish choices. Their online ordering system makes the process much easier. However, when I order an item to go, e.g. soup, the portion is smaller than eat-in portion. I literally compared with my friend's order by pouring the soup from the takeout container to eat-in bowl. Anybody else figure out the Panera rewards program? When it started I used to get rewards or what they call 'surprises' like every time I went to buy something. Now I hardly ever get any of these surprises. It's like mileage awards or tickets at the arcade, the 'surprises' appear infrequently and when they do, they leave you asking why do I even care. Now with that out of the way, the tuna on whole wheat sandwich with panera chips is the go to for me every time. Tried a few of there soups as well, would say the broccoli cheddar is tasty. The panini choices are robust as well, the turkey artichoke is tasty, as well as any of their chicken and bacon varieties when they have them. My first Panera! It will always be my "one of a kind" Panera location. I've come here many times and the main complaint I have is really that depending on the time you go the service is just slow. Not in making the food, but actually ordering it. Sometimes the cashiers are not knowledgable about the deals going on or take too long checking if a certain food is there or not. However this has only happened less than a handful of times and has not damaged the establishment in any way. The place is pretty clean and like most other Paneras. I'm a fan. read more

From my experience you have about a 50/50 chance of modifications being ignored. One time we even got what was clearly someone else's order (completely different items to what we ordered). Not the end of the world for some people and probably okay if you're not modifying anything, but for people with allergies, it means they're out a meal. Long time Panera lover, first time at this location. We ordered food to go-- just a couple of pick twos and some dessert. The staff was very nice and very accommodating. We even actually ordered our food wrong, and told them and they fixed it for us very quickly! We were very impressed with the speed and their ability to accommodate. Like all Panera, the food is good if you get what you like. We got our usual food and it was tasty. This is a very "middle of the road" Panera as far as they go. Definitely better than some Panera I have gone too, but not the best experience. For meat eater, I highly recommend the Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich. For veggieheads, you can't go wrong with the seasonal Strawberry Poppyseed salad sans chicken! Enjoy!! read more
