This is the first time that I've been to this Panera Bread and I also haven't really visited Panera Bread in a while. I had a birthday reward to redeem and I also got to try out a drive-thru at Panera. The drive thru is spacious and they do have a menu to look at as well as speaker to let the employees know your order. I got the 3 pack coconut macaroons for my birthday redemption and I didn't even know they had a chocolate coconut macaroon. I had just put in my app order and it was pretty much ready. I got to share the coconut macaroons and everyone agreed that it was delicious and not too sweet. I am torn on which one I like more as the chocolate macaroon is a bit too much chocolate for me. I can't speak for the ambiance as I used the drive-thru but definitely will have to check out this Panera Bread. Additionally, the staff here seemed genuinely sweet and wanted to ensure that customers got their order correct. read more

I tried to give this place another chance. This time I ordered in person. I don't live nearby so I just took the meal home. First problem the chocolate croissant was hard as a rock. So Tiffany and manager Melanie said I can just switch to another pastry I looked at case, and saw a fly jumping from each pastry to each pastry. I told them I just want my money back. I said don't you see the flies, Tiffany said it's because when people open the door the flies come in also. What?!!! Don't blame the people for the flies! Then when I got home I ate the tuna salad sandwich, and I gave my husband the Mediterranean chicken greens with grains. When he started eating he pulled out from his mouth a long browning hair that had a clump at the end. I almost threw up when I saw him pull it out. I took a photo ugh! Gross. I went to this Panera at 7:45 am to get a baker's dozen. When I walked through the door the guy behind the counter is taking bagels out of a plastic bag and placing them in the basket and since it was the plain I was looking for I asked him how old are those bagels. He said a day old. Now why would I drive to a place that makes bagels to get a day old bagel. When I asked him if they would be making any more he said no. I asked for the manager and explained I don't want day old bagels. She said I would have to wait 45 minutes to an hour with a fake smile. I accepted the challenge and I told her I would wait. The service in this place is so dependent on who is working there at the time. SMH. There is this lady that works there and she is always so helpful. read more

I used to love the food AND service here, but now the food is inconsistent and the service no longer exists. You must place your order on a screen, which is difficult to see if you don't have excellent vision and confusing to try to navigate. My daughter was absolutely disgusted to find a piece of hair in her turkey sandwich after taking a bite. It's an awful feeling when you trust a place with your food and something like that happens. Super busy time, lots of cars at the drive up. Crowded inside too. He got the order to me in less than 10 minutes and apologized, telling me to have a good night. Food quality is alright. Portions are good. First time visiting this place today since there was a power outage in Auburn, WA for 4 hours or so. Decided to work inside Panera Bread. Ordered through kiosk, got a couple of sandwiches, a Cinnamon Raisin Bagel, requested it cut in half and toasted with Cream Cheese. Also got a Bear Claw, Iced Green Tea and a couple of Lemonades. I've always loved Panera for soups and salads, but I've never been more disappointed than this location. This specific location is what gets the two stars from me. I work in this area 4 days a week and come in from time to time on my lunch breaks or even before work. Literally, the last 6-7 visits my orders have drastically wrong and the worst part is that it's usually the manager who takes my orders. Most recently, my family and I came in after work for dinner and the whole meal was either wrong or terrible. I would think after spending almost $60 for our meal it should be correct. My older son ordered the chicken noodle soup and a flatbread pizza. He was given a bowl of chicken broth with almost no noodles or even chicken for that matter. To make matters worse the flatbread was also awful and that was the consensus from us all. Even my two year old who absolutely LOVES any kind of pizza wouldn't touch it. My husband and I had the Mexican street corn chowder and it came out lukewarm at best and was separated and disgusting. Neither of us had the energy to mention it to the staff after the whole soup debacle. We just didn't eat it, instead wasted $60 on a terrible dinner. Also, Im pretty sure the chowder made my husband sick. Fast, efficient and delicious. I will say, ordering is quick, easy. You can order ahead, in the store on tablets or at the counter. The menu is vast, almost too much to choose from, and it all looks good. Your order is delivered very quick, for made to order options. I opted for an Asian Sesame Salad with Chicken and an Avocado BLT with Turkey off the Pick Two menu. The Pick Two is a great way to really customize. The salad was a good portion, fresh, tangy vinaigrette, and lots of wonton strips. A bit light on chicken IMHO. The BLT was on fresh sourdough, lite bacon, but very tasty. This specific location absolutely needs to retrain staff. Every time I have gone here, they have literally messed my order up every time. Coffee, food, you name it. The staff has an attitude when asked to remake things the correct way and it's really frustrating. I ordered a Chipotle Chicken Avacado Melt Sandwich and a large Mac n Cheese. The sandwich cost $13.50 and you could barely find any chicken or avacado on the sandwich?!? You can get the same size sandwich at Jersey Mike's for $10 and you get at least four times as much meat! All that being said the sandwich was still delicious. The bread was great. I am now torn as I want to go back for another sandwich but I also do not want to give my business to a place that is so stingy on the ingredients. I have been here quite often as it is close to my work. I have dined in and I have ordered rapid pick up on their app. My order has also been correct even in the rapid pick up. It is pretty quick too, it's always ready when I get there and the food is still hot depending on what I ordered. I love Panera Bread's food. Their salad also has good flavors and taste fresh, along with their sandwiches too. Their service has always been wonderful, nice and courteous. Came here for a late lunch on a weekday, around 2pm. It wasn't busy except for a few other customers. The young guy at the counter taking our order was patient and nice. All the other staff were friendly as well. The whole place was clean. I like how the tables along the walls had outlets you can plug things in (I've brought my laptop to study at other locations). I did the "pick 2" and got a half Turkey Bravo sandwich, cheddar broccoli soup, and small bag of chips. This sandwich is served cold and everything and each part of it tasted fresh. It has a generous amount of turkey slices to help make it quite filling. The kettle chips were just lightly salted, which is also a plus. And the cheddar broccoli soup was also pretty good. I like their tea/lemonade selection and usually get the blood orange lemonade. Prices here can be a little steep compared to other places, but take advantage of their offer, I believe it's a pastry for $.99 when you order a sandwich or "pick2", bagels count as a pastry! I don't usually review restaurants but this place has gone so downhill in service and food quality that I think everyone needs to know! My salad was wilted and brown beyond belief! I got the wrong soup and my daughter's Autumn squash soup was watered down and brown, not orange like it usually is. This is the third time that this has happened to be and I will never go back! Rip-off alert: they shorted me the most expensive item of my meal, and when I called back to seek a refund, they claimed that they had no way of issue a partial refund. They could only give me a voucher, which I had to drive back for. When I pressed on this, I was told that they could actually hand me cash if I drove back, but could not refund my credit card in any way. The employee eventually suggested I issue a chargeback through my credit card company. read more

Staying close to here for my Sons robotics competition at Auburn High. The team went to Red Robin which was packed. My daughter and I ditched them and came to a relatively empty place for a Sat night. My daughter really liked the BLT (without the T). Of course she chowed on the sourdough bread. I had the Thai broth that was ok, but a little disappointed the bowl was only half full. Overall taste was ok. If there is a next time I'll see if they can spice it up. My wife also decided to abandon the team (41 kids) and joined us. She got soup and salad that was good. Broccoli Chedder soup was really good. The salad was just ok. I really like the check in kiosks that we were able to use. We could have gone to the counter, but we went for the fun technology. Five stars for that!! read more

The only bread was tomato basil. No thanks. I then just tried to order a whole baguette. Nope...they were out of that. Next time I came I was excited to try the frozen strawberry lemonade. I ordered at least 40 min in advance giving a good window of opportunity for the rapid ordering. I ordered 3 sandwiches one whole and two half sandwiches and two full sized salads. I arrived a few minutes prior to my deadline and my order was completed after the deadline. When I got home I noticed the salads looked poorly, the size looked small compared to the Federal Way store it looked like it was half full. The lettuce didn't look as vibrant and the watermelon on my arugula salad was small pieces compared to what I've had before. The sandwich's were mediocre my husband said his bread was hard and chewy (the Italian). We got two breads for the salad no butter! I don't know if it was an off day the restaurant was not busy and someone else had ordered from the kiosk and was in line with me. Very disappointed! I went through the drive-thru and ordered a Turkey avocado BLT. Instead I got a Turkey, Apple, and Cheddar sandwich. I was a couple of bites into the sandwich when I noticed that there was no avocado and no bacon. Unfortunately, the biggest problem for me was that there was cheese in the sandwich and I am allergic to cheese. Luckily, I probably only had one bite, but with a milk casein allergy it doesn't take much to cause respiratory issues. When I called the manager, she was apologetic and said that she would talk to her team. She also offered to send me a voucher.
